SAMMANFATTNINGBakgrund: Antipsykotika utgör grunden i behandling av psykossjukdomar. Bristande följsamhet till läkemedelsbehandlingen är dock vanligt förekommande och en stor anledning till att patienter återinsjuknar i psykos och behöver vårdas inom slutenvård. Syfte: Dels att beskriva hur patienter som vårdas inom sluten psykiatrisk psykosvård uppfattar läkemedelsadministrering och dels att beskriva om patienterna uppfattar att sjuksköterskors bemötande i samband med läkemedelsadministrering har betydelse för deras inställning till att medicinera. Metod: Kvalitativ ansats. Intervjustudie med fenomenografi som metod i datainsamling och analys.

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva patienters inställning till sin antipsykotiska medicinering och orsaker till varför läkemedelsordinationer inte följs.Metod: Enkätstudie med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat: Två teman och 13 kategorier framkom för att beskriva patienters inställning till läkemedlet. Dessa teman är Läkemedel som hjälp och Läkemedel som belastning. Antalet kategorier under temat läkemedel som hjälp är nio stycken och antalet kategorier under temat läkemedel som belastning är fyra. För att beskriva varför ordinationer inte följts framkom fyra kategorier.Slutsats: Huvudresultaten i denna studie är de två teman som framkom, Läkemedel som hjälp och Läkemedel som belastning. Deltagarna i denna studie uppgav både positiva och negativa attityder till sin antipsykotiska medicin.

This essay is aimed at exploring how governments inclination to adhere to international human rights law develops in the wake of interstate conflicts. It examines how human rights in Eritrea and Ethiopia has developed after the war in 1998-2000 by examining the historical background to the war, and reviewing country reports from United States State Department and Amnesty International between 2001-2005.The result of the paper shows that Eritrea's adherence to human rights suffered setbacks, and that some of these happened due to the aftermath of the war. Ethiopia also had some lesser setback primarily due to internal turmoil. Mer än 50 % av patienterna som behandlas för hypertension, slutar helt sin behandling inom ett år från att diagnos har ställs. Bland de som fortsätter sin behandling är det endast hälften som är följsamma det vill säga tar 80 % av sitt förskrivna antihypertensiva läkemedel. Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar följsamheten till medicinering hos patienter med diagnosen hypertension.

One way to achieve cultural understanding is through self-reflection in a new context. During five weeks the authors, two physiotherapy students, completed a clinical practice at the rehabilitation center Pina Palmera, Zipolite, Oaxaca, Mexico. At the beginning of the period a critical incident was chosen, when the head physiotherapist for the ward Cuidados Especiales intended to sell jewellery to the authors during a treatment of a patient. The authors have by using the reflection framework "Framework to guide reflective process", and Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) for analysis, discussed different ways of communication, adherence, education, and self-reflection and critical thinking.

Patientsäkerhet är ett viktigt ämne inom hälso- och sjukvården. Läkemedelshantering är en del av omvårdnadsarbetet som kan äventyra patientsäkerheten. En fjärdedel av de vårdskador som inträffar beror på fel i läkemedelshanteringen. Studiens syfte var att beskriva händelser och/eller omständigheter i omvårdnadsarbetet som kan riskera patientsäkerheten vid läkemedelshantering. This essay aims to analyse if the Russian military operation carried out against Georgia between the 7th and 12th of august 2008 were executed with adherence to the Russian principles for military deception, maskirovka.   A superior purpose is to assess the situation according to the Swedish Armed Forces task of identifying possible needs for new or changed needs for abilities and competence.   The method used is two-alternative hypotheses which are tried by comparing actual events before and during the Russian-Georgian war with the ten methods of maskirovka, compiled from military analytical literature. Per oral cancerbehandling är inte automatiskt förknippat med samma strikta riktlinjer som vid intravenös behandling, däremot så är biverkningsprofilen med allvarliga och ibland livshotande tillstånd i stort sett densamma. Forskning har visat att följsamheten till den per orala cancerbehandlingen varierar, ibland är låg och inte är bättre än andra kroniskt sjuka gruppers följsamhet. Patienten sköter till stor del behandlingen själv. Konsekvenserna av detta kan vara ett försämrat behandlingsresultat, risk för över resp.

Introduction: Good hand hygiene practice is the single most important measure to reduce the spread of bacteria and viruses in healthcare. For nurses, this has become more important as the spread of multidrug-resistant bacteria in hospitals is increasingObjective: To identify factors that are important for adherence to hand hygiene among health care workers with patient contact.Method: Systematic literature review. Original articles were searched in PubMed and Cinahl.Results: Factors of importance for compliance was profession, lack of time, knowledge/education, physical work environment, attitudes toward hand hygiene, and dry hands.Conclusion: More education, less workload and more visible placement of hand disinfectant containers are examples of actions that could lead to the improvement of staff hand hygiene and reduce the incidence of healthcare associated infections. Due to the fact that health care workers around the world have different training and approaches, the result of this study may be difficult to use. Forskning kring sexuella biverkningar vid neuroleptikabehandling och dess påverkan på personers adherence är bristfällig. Syftet: Syftet är att i en pilotstudie undersöka hur biverkningsprofilen på depåneuroleptika med fokus på sexuella biverkningar inverkar på kvinnors inställning till medicinering.Metod: Datainsamlingen gjordes i form av en enkätundersökning på personer som erhåller depå-neuroleptika vid en psykosmottagning i Västra Götaland.

Background: Basic hygiene is an important measure to prevent healthcare associated infections, save patients? lives, and reduce economic costs for health care. Healthcare associated infections are a threat to patient safety. In community care persons who are the care takers are a risk group and nurses must make sure that basic hygiene procedures are followed.Method: Literature studies with descriptive design, article search in databases Cinahl and PubMed. The results found are based on twelve chosen articles.Aim: To describe factors related to adherence to basic hygiene and how nurses in community care can help to improve compliance with these procedures.Results: In the nursing staff and leadership in health care interest in and the understanding of basic hygiene is described as being of most importance.

Syfte: Litteraturstudiens syfte var att belysa patientens syn på mediciner, medicinering och livsstilsförändringar. Metod: Studien baserades på 17 vetenskapliga artiklar som analyserades med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys.
