Every day in medical care the nurse and the patient meet, they are not just represented as the care giver and the care taker, but also as two unique individuals. The meeting is a very important part in caring and few studies have been made on this topic from the patient.s perspective. The purpose of this study was to describe the patient.s perspective on the meeting with the nurse. The study is a literature review, where articles have been reviewed, encoded, and then categorized. The result builds on our four main categories, confirmed as a unique indidual, the meaning of the information according to the patient, the humanistic side of the nurse, and the importance of humor in the meeting.

Frågan är ifall det alltid är ett verktyg som underlättar de vardagliga processerna?I den här uppsatsen redogör vi för en kvalitativ studie som genomförts genom intervjuer vid Karlstads universitet för att se hur åtta stycken anställda med utbildningsrelaterade arbetsuppgifter uppfattar och upplever den digitala arbetsmiljö.

The Library of Uppsala University has decided to change their classification system from the Swedish SAB system to the American Dewey Decimal Classification. One of the main reasons for this decison was that Kungliga biblioteket also has made an exchange between these systems. Due to that, the national bibliography of Sweden classifies Swedish documents according to Dewey Decimal Classification and the SAB system is no longer maintained. A transition to Dewey Decimal Classification will enable Swedish librarians to import foreign catalouge posts and classification codes and will provide them with a common standard between their libraries and other libraries due to the use of the same international classification system. It is disputed whether the Dewey Decimal Classification is equally suitable for all subjects.

Att använda den här typen av system är inget nytt, det har använts på flygplatser en lång tid för att avlasta personal, eektivisera och spara kostnader samt göra det smidigare för kunden att resa. Skillnaden är att det har börjat anammas av flera typer av företag och framförallt så är dessa system eektiva i situationer där man vill spara in pengar och låta kunden själv genomföra sina köp eller bokningar. Men för att dessa system ska vara kompletterande och inte öka utgifterna för företagen så krävs det att kiosk-tjänsterna har en fungerande och eektiv interaktionsdesign. Annars leder det till missnöjda kunder och ökade omkostnader för uppdateringar och underhåll.Vi har undersökt och utvärderat tre system för att se vilka brister som finns i deras användbarhet och hur detta påverkar efektiviteten.

The purpose of this thesis is to develop a data acquisition module on stacked PC/104 modules with a lower production cost. Our work has been divided into one part about analog signal conditioning and a second part with digital filtering and memory management of the sampled data. The analog part, designed of regular components like instrument amplifiers, voltage references, operational amplifiers and multiplexers, adjusts the sensors signal levels for the ADC?s that converts the signals.

Sjuksköterskan skall även samverka med andra aktörer i vårdkedjan och sträva efter en god informationsöverföring mellan dessa, i syfte att kvalitetssäkra vården.Syfte: Utifrån sjuksköterskans erfarenheter beskriva rutiner för uppföljning av läkemedelsbehandlingar, hos patienter med ApoDos och boende enligt LSS, samt identifiera eventuella välfungerande- och bristande rutiner.Metod: Studien har en deskriptiv design med kvalitativ ansats. Fem intervjuer genomfördes med sjuksköterskor, samtliga verksamma på LSS-boenden inom Uppsala kommun. Det inhämtade materialet analyserades enligt en reviderad version av Graneheim och Lundmans (2004) metod för innehållsanalys. Resultat: Resultatet visar att det finns vissa bristande rutiner och ett behov av bättre kommunikation samt tydligare riktlinjer för ansvarsfördelningen mellan olika aktörer vid uppföljning av patienternas läkemedelsbehandlingar.

The thesis describes the following main question: Will the administrative labour during football tournaments be made easier with the help from a mobile web service or will it convey to unnecessary extra work? To be able to give a good and qualified answer to this question, the thesis will in the beginning describe how the technique for such a system might look like and also describe the existing administrative moments during a football tournament, this is too give the reader a deeper understanding for further reading. The thesis then goes on to describe a concrete system which is tested on three football tournaments. On the basis of the tests, interviews and through analysis of these the thesis will be able to answer our questions. The aim of this essay is to study how parents to children with learning disability experences the support they get from society. My main question has been: what kind of support offer does society offer this parents? What is good and what is less satisfactory in this support? The study is based on a qualitative method. Five parents with children who has learning disabilities has been used as base. The material has been analysed with a narrative, hernmeneutic perspective.The study concludes that the parents, use in this case, find that society does not offer the necessary understanding for their problem of their family.
