Märkt av märkningen? -en studie av konsumeters kunskap, attityder och köpbeteende avseende etik- och miljömärkningar av den svenska livsmedelsbranschen
Effektiv och uppmärksammad marknadskommunikation som skapar positiva associationer är en av de viktigaste kuggarna i hjulet för att en organisation ska lyckas urskilja sig från mängden, presentera ett enastående budskap och knyta till sig konsumenters uppmärksamhet. På en allt konkurrenstätare marknad gäller det att anpassa sig efter de situationer som kan tänkas uppstå och hela tiden ligga steget före sina konkurrenter.Studiens syfte är att undersöka hur en organisation inom elektronikbranschen arbetar för att skapa långvariga relationer med konsumenter genom effektiv och välgenomtänkt marknadskommunikation. Studien är baserad på företaget Electrolux och kommer att åskådliggöra deras tillvägagångssätt när det handlar om att, som ett av världens största företag inom elektronikbranschen, erbjuda konsumenterna något utöver vad konkurrenterna erbjuder.Den teoretiska referensramen kommer presentera litteratur inom områdena marknadskommunikation, konsumentbeteende och varumärkeshantering för att vi som författare ska ha en så bred grund som möjligt att stå på inför analysering av senare insamlad empiri. Studien har utförts med ett hermeneutiskt förhållningssätt av kvalitativ natur där empirin samlats in genom intervjuer med Electrolux för att sedan sättas i relation till befintlig teori. Därefter analyseras de empiriska data som samlats in för att finna meningsskiljaktigheter mellan Electrolux tillvägagångssätt och vad teorierna säger.
Celebrity endorsement : En studie om svenska idrottspersonligheter i företags marknadskommunikation
I denna studie har vi valt att ur ett marknadsföringsperspektiv studera varför företag använder sig av kända svenska idrottspersonligheter i sin marknadskommunikation. Vi har valt att se på detta fenomen genom både företagens och idrottspersonligheternas perspektiv, det vill säga undersöka vilka incitament dessa båda parter har för att samarbeta. Vi har i vår uppsats valt att använda oss av en analytisk ansats, då vi ämnar skapa en djupare förståelse för ett fenomen snarare än att skapa generella lagar. Som datagenereringsmetod har vi använt oss av semistandardiserade intervjuer med företag som under senare år har använt någon svensk idrottspersonlighet i sin marknadskommunikation. De teorier vi har använt är främst celebrity endorsement teorier, men vi har även valt att ta med branding teorier för att belysa hur en idrottspersonlighet kan skapa associationer till ett varumärke.

Customer service has traditionally consisted of telephone, mail, and later on chat.But the entry of social media has changed the way companies exercise customerservice. Companies should ask themselves whether the same type of traditionalcommunication may or may not function in a new channel and thus whether itcan be applied to social media.The purpose of this study is to describe the companies? use of customer servicein social media and how the communication differentiates from thecommunication in traditional customer service, and also to define the effect onthe customers? relationship to the company. To reach our conclusions we havecombined theoretical references with qualitative interviews.By our analysis, we found that the communication in social media expandsthe possibilities. By entering an unfamiliar channel, customer service has hadto adapt themselves and their language.

The essay aimed to investigate whether people choose light products or original products regarding dairy products and beverages as well as the motives for their respective choice. Finally the purpose was to find out where they had obtained the knowledge to make their choice and how they thought media had affected their choice. The method used was a qualitative decsriptive study with three focus groups consisting of six women aged 40-50, six women aged 20-30 and four men aged 25-35. Each interview lasted 2 hours. The groups were a selection of comfort. The results showed that all respondents choose original products. The primary reason was because they thought that original products tasted better and had a better consistence.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate how librarians view marketing of the library using social media and how this can be used in a marketing strategy. The theoretical framework for this thesis is based on the 7 Ps of the marketing mix, SWOT-analysis and SWOT/TOWS Matrix. The theory is based on planned elements that make up a product or service offered the market. We have used our own interpretation of the theories to analyse our material. Our main method has been a web-based questionnaire, the questionnaire was sent to 523 librarians active at ten large public libraries and its related branches.

Resultatet är att sociala media erbjuder både positiv och negativ påverkan på internkommunikationen.

Further questions of the study are: How do the young people of the district describe their residential area? How do the youth's react to the news media images of Hovsjö? Has the neighborhood helped to form their identity?Method: In my data collection I have chosen a qualitative approach with observation and semistructured interviews.
Skillnader över Atlanten : En undersökning om två organisationers kommunikationsarbete i USA och i Sverige.
This essay is a case study of how two non-profit organizations, in the same line of business work with external communication and new media such as Internet and social media (Facebook and Twitter).Both these organizations are located in different countries and the purpose of the case study is also to find out if the differences in their work methods in communication depend on organizational or cultural differences. The case study was conducted in the organizations Sverige Amerika Centret in Karlstad, Sweden and The Swedish Council of America in Minneapolis, US. A qualitative approach executed through interviews and a qualitative content analysis of the organizations annual report from 2010. The result of the interviews and the document content analysis shows that there are differences in the way these organizations handle their work with external communications and new media. One of the organizations uses new media more actively in their work with communication and through that channel creates a relationship with its external audiences. The theories that has been used for this case study is Organization communication, Intercultural communication, Public Relations and Organization culture. Uppkopplad eller nedkopplad? -Konflikt mellan förnuft och känsla : En etnografiskt inspirerad studie av fyra studenters vardag online och offline
Purpose: The aim of this thesis has been to study and obtain greater understanding of the consequences of active social media use. Specifically, in terms of social identity, social life and the sense of belonging. Secondly, the thesis studies the consequences of disconnecting and for a limited amount of time opt out of the social media context.Method/material: The study is based on an explorative, cultural ethnographically-inspired method, in which four respondents were studied: two men and two women, all frequent users of social media. This was done in three steps: initial interviews, followed by social media diaries and finally a focus group. By allowing these methods to complement each other, the goal was to create an overall picture of the importance of social media in their everyday lives.The study's focus lies on the week in which the respondents kept social media diaries.

I have also studied their needs for further education and how it can be addressed in social media, in order to learn how a B2B-company that educates in sales training can meet sales people in social media. It?s an empirical study based on individual interviews with a semi-structured interview template. Respondents were of mixed age, both men and women.

The result is aimed to give a deeper picture of how gender is represented in media.Material/Method: The method used in this thesis is discourse analysis, applied on twenty articles which contained personal interviews with women and men who have or have had breast or prostate cancer. Ten of the articles contain interviews with women and ten interviews with men. The articles were selected from criteria based on where and when they were published. They were picked from the two largest papers in Sweden, Dagens Nyheter (DN) and Aftonbladet (AF), ten from each paper, of which five were interviews with women and five with men.

In recent years, more and more people have started to live double lives. Blogs, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter have created conditions so that we increasingly live virtual lives on the Internet. The gathering of people in this way entails both risks and opportunities for businesses. This study aims to explain how the phenomenon of social media has affected trade and service companies in a marketing and communication perspective. The idea for the essay came to us after we had observed how different behaviors in companies? concerning social media could vary a lot, and how we felt that this affected our personal view of the brands.
