From an organizational standpoint social media has become a way for organizations to get closer to, and create a dialogue with, their environment. Swedish municipalities have began to use social media in their daily communication with the environment, but a problem has been raised about how public organizations should organize their social media when formal guidelines from the government are missing.Objective: The objective of this thesis is to examine how eight Swedish municipalities have organized their use of social media due to the lack of official guidance from the government, and also what difficulties that have occurred during this process.Method: The method used is qualitative with data collected through interviews with one respondent from each municipality.Results: The result show that the organizational solutions varies through each municipality but also the choice of social media. It has been important for municipalities to have someone in charge of the new communication tool since social media is a fast and communicative channel. Seven out of eight municipalities have already developed or are in process of developing their own formal guidelines on how to use social media.

Purpose: The purpose of the essay is; to explain and clarify how the company is acting to lead members in social media to achieve valuable external communication. The authors believe that it is important to act with credibility and quality in social media, to accomplish long lasting relationships. When employees communicate with consumers their conduct is relevant to the company's credibility.Methodology: An inductive approach has been used for the empirical data collection since the authors have been studying the reality without existing theories. A qualitative research method has been used for collecting the empirical material. Primary data was collected from telephone interviews with seven companies, active in social media.Conclusions: The study shows that the power of employees? can be used when designing strategies for social media.

A  brief review of computer and Internet history attempts to explain the formation and evolution of social media. Risks in terms of risks related to leadership and risks related to IT-security are taken into consideration and have been briefly explained.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka den diskurs som följde i svensk media efter migrationsverkets beslut att ge syriska flyktingar permanent uppehållstillstånd.Metoden som vi har utgått ifrån är kritisk diskursanalys och innehållsanalys. Som data har vi valt ut tolv artiklar och två TV-program.Resultatet visar att media äger den makt som gör att de får avgöra hur ett sådant beslut ska presenteras och diskuteras. Resultatet visar även att media använder idag en annorlunda diskurs jämfört med 1980 och 1990 talet.Media kan med sin makt avgöra vem som ska/inte ska uttrycka sig. En ?Vi? och ?De? skapas av media som skiljer mellan den etablerade och den oetablerade i samhället.

In our case study we investigate how media chose to illuminate the process of court proceedings concerning a one specific rape case in Sweden during the spring and autumn 2007. For our study we have chosen to investigate two Swedish daily newspapers, one known to be a serious morning newspaper, Dagens Nyheter, and the other an evening tabloid newspaper Expressen. We would like to see whether the reports of the trial diverge and if that is, how they differ.The rape took place in Stockholm?s posh area named Stureplan in March 2007. The two men 21 and 25 years old, accused for the crime were acquitted after the first instance.

Fysisk aktivitet kan främja både fysisk och psykisk hälsa. På senare tid har uppmärksamhet ägnats åt att nå förståelse för vilka faktorer som påverkar individers fysiska aktivitet. Syftet med studien var att, bland fysiskt aktiva personer, få ökad förståelse i vilka faktorer som motiverar till fysisk aktivitet samt vilka eventuella försvårande omständigheter som finns och vad individerna gör för att överkomma dem. Åtta intervjuer genomfördes och analyserades genom induktiv tematisk analys. I enlighet med tidigare forskning och beteende- och motivationsteorier visade resultatet att det var viktigt att det var nöjesfyllt att vara fysiskt aktiv, att individerna upplevde att deras fysiska och mentala hälsa påverkades positivt samt att det var en betydelsefull social aktivitet.

Fysisk aktivitet förknippas med en rad positiva effekter på både den fysiska och psykiska hälsan hosde allra flesta, och forskningen visar att det är viktigare att ha en god kondition än att ha ett BMIunder 25. Forskningen visar på utbredd stigmatisering och negativ särbehandling av tjockapersoner, bland annat hos träningsinstruktörer, och medvetenheten om detta kan leda till ökad riskför depression och till undvikande av fysisk aktivitet hos tjocka personer. Den här studien utgickfrån fettacceptans och paradigmen Health at Every Size (HAES). Syftet med studien var att belysatjocka personers upplevelser av faktorer som främjar eller hindrar deras inkludering och deltagandei sammanhang för fysisk aktivitet. En kvalitativ forskningsstrategi valdes och datainsamlingenskedde med semistrukturerade intervjuer med sju tjocka personer.

Kroniskt obstruktiv lungsjukdom (KOL) och Kronisk hjärtsvikt (KHS) tillhör de vanligaste folksjukdomarna i Sverige. Samsjukligheten av dessa två sjukdomar är stor och patienterna har en liknande symtombild som exempelvis andfåddhet och trötthet. Fysisk aktivitet är en viktig faktor vid hantering och behandling av dessa sjukdomstillstånd. Tilltro till den egna förmågan (self-efficacy) har kommit att framstå som en påverkansfaktor för livsstilsförändring gällande fysisk aktivitet.Syftet var att jämföra utövad fysisk aktivitet och self-efficacy till fysisk aktivitet bland patienter med KOL och KHS i primärvården. Vidare var syftet att jämföra män och kvinnor med KOL respektive män och kvinnor med KHS.

The aim of this study was to seek knowledge about how the media audience interprets media representations of immigrants as well as the construction of ?us? and ?them? that is created from the media report.We implemented two focus group interviews, one containing only ethnical Swedes and one holding a variety of people with different ethnical backgrounds. The focus groups got to read nine news articles from different Swedish news papers selected by us, based upon previous research. These articles got to serve as the basis of the discussion.To supplement the focus groups, which got to represent the media audience, we also interviewed two different persons we choose to call informants, whom are both immigrants and are or have been politically active and often appear in local media.The interviews were our empirical material which was used for analysis. The method we used was qualitative analysis of meaning and was based upon a hermeneutic starting point, meaning that all humans are interpreting beings.

How do the Swedish police get represented in news media and how does that representation differentiate from other media channels where the police have full control over what is said? Through a discourse analysis of news texts and extracts from the police own webpage and Facebook page, we claim that the discourse in newspapers and the discourse on the webpage and Facebook page is pretty much the same, only packaged differently..

Livsstilsrelaterade sjukdomar är ett växande globalt problem, och fysisk inaktivitet är en av de största riskfaktorerna. En av sjuksköterskans uppgifter är att motivera till hälsosammare levnadsvanor. En hälsofrämjande metod är fysisk aktivitet på recept, FaR®, som används i flera länder, men vars effekt även har ifrågasatts. Syftet med studien var att undersöka värdet av FaR® och vilka faktorer som påverkar det värdet. En granskning av 12 vetenskapliga artiklar genomfördes.

During several years we have been able to follow the victories and disappointments of Ludmila Engqvist through the scrutinising eye of the media. This essay will deal with how media?s picture perception of Ludmila Engqvist has changed by analysing articles from the Swedish newspapers Aftonbladet and Expressen from 1996 to 2001. Why and how the media?s picture has changed will be analysed through the perspectives of Ludmila Engqvist being an elite athlete, immigrant and woman.

Since the emergence of social media websites as an established part of our society, the landscape ofcommunication has undergone dramatic changes. Especially in the field of journalism, the impact ofsocial media websites, such as Twitter, has been the subject of discussions about the actual partsocial media play in communication and news reporting. The general opinion has been that socialmedia has revolutionized the way we communicate and that a shift in power is taking place as themasses now engage in, and affect, our societies way of spreading information. This study is acritical discussion about whether Twitter in particular, and social media in general, has affected thejournalistic field in the extent that many claim it has. By comparing theories about traditionalmedia, such as television and newspapers, with recent studies about Twitter, we conclude that it isto early to establish the role of social media.

Bakgrund: Depression är en utbredd folksjukdom i Sverige, trots att effektiva och kända behandlingsmetoder finns är det färre än hälften som behandlas. Den vanligaste behandlingen är antidepressiva läkemedel men tyvärr kan det medföra många biverkningar. Syfte: Syftet var att belysa interventioner med fysisk aktivitet och hur dessa kan påverka en människa med depression eller depressiva symtom. Metod: Litteraturöversikt innehållande kvantitativa artiklar som granskats och delats in i olika kategorier som berört olika interventioner av fysisk aktivitet. Resultat: Fysisk aktivitet har visats sig kunna minska depression och sänka depressiva symtom, interventioner som hade störst verkan var de som pågick under längre tid samt högintensiva aktiviteter.
