The purpose of this study was set against the background that social media today are used as an platform for companies to communicate with their customers, as well as communicate their brand. Therefore it was interesting to examine this phenomenenon through a critical point of view and try to put light on the different forms of power that is produced on this arena.The overall aim of this study was to examine how PR-consultants talk about social media as a communication channel. The empirical data consisted of five interviews with PR-consultants on five different PR-agencies. The theoretical framework was based on a social constructional perspective and Foucault?s theory of power.

We based our study on the theoretical understanding of today?s media-centric democratic society. Semi structured interviews were used to investigate three menand four women?s experiences of using Windows mobiles with adaptedfunctions for text messaging.

The aim of the thesis was to investigate energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions from an advertisement broadcasted on the radio or the television or
distributed through press. The object was to calculate the amount of carbon dioxide emissions per individual receiver of an advertisement in Sweden. There was no room
for a deeper investigation into editorial work within the framework of the thesis.
Consequently, main focus of the radio and television study was on broadcasting itself and the components involved. Focus for the press study was on paper production,
printing and distribution. Production and discarding of media equipment was not taken into account.

The focus group sessions were made during February, March and April 2012.Main results The main findings in this study are that users expect the communication flow in social network sites (SNS) during a crisis is to be a shortcut to information without a detour through organizations or traditional media. Although we find personal gratification, like interpersonal communication, quick information and sharing feelings and experience with others by using SNS during a crisis, users also tend to be hesitant about the credibility of the shared information. Alongside the user created content, we look to professional media experts and organizations as a guarantee for the veracity of the shared information.

News graphics as a part of journalism is something that?s constantly developing along with the news. That?s what we believed when we started this paper including its study. And we still believe the same, now that we?re done.News graphics itself is fairly common in Swedish newspapers, it can be seen every day in almost any major newspaper and is perfect for describing an event like the pollution of the sea over many years or just simply point out on a map where a city is located.This is one of the reasons to why we wrote this; another reason is that there?s almost nothing else written on the subject in northern Europe.
PR och marknadsföring inom sociala medier : En studie kring riskerna att vara social i sociala medier
Social media provides a new position of power to the single individual within PR and marketing campaigns. When a company uses social media as a communication tool in their PR and marketing practice, they have to adapt themselves after the customers' needs and the new communication structure within social media. Communication in social medi is different from traditional media, which is more one-way communicative and visual in its interaction, rather than the digital media that are more two-way communicative av viral through dialogue. If a company creates PR and marketing campaigns within social media without adjusting to the new rules of communication through dialogue, and instead try to apply traditional one-way communication to their social campaigns, they put themselves and their brands in risk of public humiliation and loss of customers; the speed of the viral dialogue over social media can spread bad news fast, and with the newfound power of the single individual, the impliacations can thus be devastating for a company and its brand. If an organization does not respond and take part of the criticism that may be directed at them through the customers' comments, the negative dialogue among clients and the public within social media can quickly create a hazard enviorment for a company and its brand to be seen in. The public within these social media platforms are more independent and continuously conversing with each other on a local an global scale.
Matte Painting - Skapandet av en virtuell kuliss
Det här kandidatarbetet kommer framförallt att beröra filmtekniken, Matte
Painting, men vi kommer även röra oss runt omkring ämnet och presentera andra
delar från filmproduktionen och framförallt postproduktionen för att lättare
kunna sätta Matte Painting i ett relevant sammanhang.
Vi jämför Matte Painting med en teaterkuliss, en bakgrund som på nära håll
eller ses från fel vinkel kan bryta illusionen av att det är en verklig miljö.
Vi undersöker och presenterar hur man kan bygga upp en digitalt skapad Matte
Painting som möjliggör att inte behöva åka land och rike runt efter den
idealiska filmplatsen, utan kan spela in filmscenen i en studiomiljö.
Vi analyserar existerande filmscener som har använt sig av Matte Painting, gör
jämförelser mellan olika användningsområden för Matte Painting samt diskuterar
fram en slutsats som besvarar vår frågeställning:

This thesis will primarily concern the film technique, Matte Painting, but we
will also roam around the subject and introduce other elements of the film
production, and above all post production for ease of putting Matte Painting in
a relevant context.
We compare Matte Painting with a theatrical backdrop, a background that closely
or viewed from the wrong angle can break the illusion that it is a real world
environment. We will investigate and present how to build a digitally created
Matte Painting that enables not having to travel across the country for the
ideal film location, but can shoot the scene in a studio environment.
We analyze existing film scenes that have made use of Matte Painting, making
comparisons between different uses for Matte painting and discuss a conclusion
that answers our main question:
"How has the evolution of the film technology, Matte Painting, looked like and
how you can apply a digital matte paint in post production to enhance the
overall experience of a movie scene?".

This major project in Building Engineering has its focus on inquiring into what methods has been used in the planning process of the residential buildingLjusbojen 1. This project has been conducted in cooperation with Kadesjös Ingenjörsbyrå AB, an engineering contractor firm which also acts as the property developer. Initially several different general methods for planning residential buildings have been presented. After the methods from the process of building Ljusbojen 1 has been analyzed compared to the general methods presented in part 1. This shows what the determining factors are during the planning process; factors such as cost, quality, time management, know-how and environmental issues.

This report is a bachelor thesis work in the field of product development and design. The assignment has been to develop a solution for roof racks, normally used for cars, to fit on the open trailer models FS1425 and Alugance. The project was implemented by Johan Andersson and Victor Karlsson, students at the Mechanical Engineering program with a focus on product development and design at Jo?nko?ping?s school of Engineering, in spring 2012.The client wants to use transport solutions in the same way as roof racks on cars. The user of such a product is assumed to desire simplicity, safety and an attractive design with an appealing price, which has been a challenge during the thesis work.Pre-studies have been conducted to examine the potential competitors and gain knowledge in the research area.

DEJANDO HUELLAS - Upplevelsen kring arbetet med musikgrupper från Colombia
När jag började på Digital Ljudproduktion program som tillhandahålls av BTH,
var mitt syfte att lära mig allt om inspelningsmetoder av olika typer av ljud
samt det bästa sättet att spela in olika ljudkällor och att uppnå bästa möjliga
resultat i alla faser av arbetet (pre-produktion, produktion och
efterproduktion).
Exempelvis att välja den lämpligaste mikrofonen för inspelning av ett särskilt
instrument kan vara svårt och ibland bör du tänka på avstånd, riktning
eller/och vinkeln mellan mikrofonen och ljudkällan.
Likaså, band med blås- (trumpet, saxofon) och slagverksinstrument (bongos,
congas), som inte är vanliga här i Skandinavien, ger goda erfarenheter genom
att spela in dem.
Dessa exempel visar på behovet av att ha kapacitet till anpassning med syftet
att nå bästa möjliga resultat.
Att uppnå denna kapacitet var målet med detta projekt..
Making ideas come to life in film/theatre/commercial production
I den här uppsatsen redogör jag för mitt arbete som C-foto på långfilmen Äta,
Sova, Dö där jag jobbade i två månader under våren 2011. Man får följa min väg
från förberedelserna jag gjorde inför filmen och mina tidigare erfarenheter i
området, till hur det gick för mig på inspelningen.
Jag beskriver även min undersökning av idéarbete och produktionsprocesser inom
långfilmen ur mitt perspektiv. Jag visar två olika sätt man kan arbeta med
idéarbete på film utifrån intervjuerna jag gjorde med regissören Gabriela
Pichler för Äta, sova, dö och filmregissören Johan Lundborg på hans film
Isolerad. Skildringar gör jag också via intervjuerna jag hade med
produktionsbolaget AFOS och teaterregissören Kent R Andersson mot hur idéarbete
fungerar under reklamproduktioner och teater.
För att lättare visa hur arbetet i de olika produktionerna kan se ut har jag
sammanställt produktionsprocesser för varje produktion steg för steg från idé
till färdig produkt..
