Utveckling av betongstommar i flervåningshus

Detta arbete utgör magisterexamensarbete inom utveckling av betongstommar i flervånings- hus. Under de senaste åren har allt större intresse fokuserats på byggsektorns låga produktivitetsutveckling, höga kostnader, byggnadsvård, oförmåga att ta till sig befintlig kunskap och dåliga lönsamhet. Några stora byggprojekt har dessutom fått stort utrymme i media till följd av bl.a. omfattande byggfel. Den tidigare så förändringsobenägna byggsektorn visar nu tydlig vilja att förändras och förnyas.

Skanska 21 - en fallstudie av ett studentprogram

Skanska 21 is a student program for university students. The program runs for a year and a half parallel to university studies. It is aimed at those studying a few specific master engineering programs at Lund University, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Chalmers University of Technology or Luleå University of Technology. The program consists of a number of program meetings such as company presentations, a boarding school week, rhetoric training and project visits. The aim of the project is to evaluate the Skanska 21 student program.

This essay will deal with how media?s picture perception of Ludmila Engqvist has changed by analysing articles from the Swedish newspapers Aftonbladet and Expressen from 1996 to 2001. Why and how the media?s picture has changed will be analysed through the perspectives of Ludmila Engqvist being an elite athlete, immigrant and woman.

Since the emergence of social media websites as an established part of our society, the landscape ofcommunication has undergone dramatic changes. Especially in the field of journalism, the impact ofsocial media websites, such as Twitter, has been the subject of discussions about the actual partsocial media play in communication and news reporting. The general opinion has been that socialmedia has revolutionized the way we communicate and that a shift in power is taking place as themasses now engage in, and affect, our societies way of spreading information. This study is acritical discussion about whether Twitter in particular, and social media in general, has affected thejournalistic field in the extent that many claim it has. By comparing theories about traditionalmedia, such as television and newspapers, with recent studies about Twitter, we conclude that it isto early to establish the role of social media.

Riskanalys på Karlshamnsverket - Påverkan vid en framtida höjning av havsnivån

Människan har genom sin industriella framfart bidragit till ökade nivåer av växthusgaser i atmosfären och på så sätt rubbat den balans av gaser som naturligt förekommer. En klimatutveckling med trender som tyder på en framtid med varmare klimat är en av konsekvenserna av den process vi i alldagligt tal benämner växthuseffekten.Ett varmare klimat förväntas medföra förändringar av en rad faktorer, där medelvattenståndet i världshaven är en. Med en geografisk lokalisering i direkt anknytning till kusten och en topografisk lokalisering på dryga 2.65 m över havet skulle Karlshamnsverket kunna vara i farozonen för de konsekvenser en höjning av intilliggande hav kan medföra. Karlshamnsverket är ett värmekraftverk som ägs och drivs av Karlshamn Kraft AB. Anläggningen ligger utanför Karlshamn, vid Blekinges kust, och redan idag råder viss problematik vid högvattenstånd.

Är barns intresse i fritidshemmets intresse? : Effekten av fritidshemmets brist på media- och IT-användning

SammanfattningDenna undersökning grundar sig på mina tidigare erfarenheter från fritidshemmet, där jag fått uppfattningen att fritidshemmen ger få möjligheter till media- och IT-användning och att verksamheten därigenom förlorar en del barn tidigare. Syftet med undersökningen är att ta reda på om det finns en koppling mellan IT- och mediaanvändningen på fritidshemmet och när barn slutar på fritids. Arbetet utgår från dessa tre frågeställningar: Upplever barnen att det finns för få möjligheter att använda IT och media på fritidshemmet? Är i så fall bristen av IT och media på fritidshemmet en anledning till att barn slutar? Hur är pedagogernas syn på fritidshemmets IT- och mediaanvändning? För att besvara dem genomfördes en enkätundersökning med elever, samt kvalitativa intervjuer med fritidspedagoger.Dagens samhälle har förändrats mycket under de senaste åren. Den digitala tekniken får en större betydelse i barns liv.

MoPho -enkla lösningar för SMS och MMS

Our project is divided into two parts, one production and written report. The main focus was the production part, were we used PHP to create simple solution for handling SMS and MMS with direct communication with the mobile operator server. We communicate with sockets and can handle CIMD2 and MM7 protocol. To get our components easy to use we have created two classes to handle SMS and MMS. To demonstrate our technical platform we created a website were you can create an account.

Ikeas retuscherade kvinnor : En kvalitativ studie av Ikeas val att retuschera kvinnor i den Saudiska Ikea-katalogen

On the first of October 2012 the media reported that the women in the Ikea cataloguehad been airbrushed in the Saudi edition. Initially the blame was put on either theSaudi government the Islamic culture or the Saudi franchise. In the end it wasrevealed that the Swedish company Inter Ikea Systems had the full responsibility forIkeas actions and therefore was the culprit behind the airbrushing. On whoseinitiative or why the airbrushing was done the media never found out. These areanswers only Ikea has, although they remain unresponsive to these questionsthroughout the news portrayal.This study methodology uses a qualitative content analysis as framework to furtherinvestigate the news media with support of theoretical perspectives such as mediatheory, power relations and cultural differences.

In this research our goal is to conclude the aspects of interactivity which can prove to be important during the creation of a website. The focus in this essay is websites functioning as travelingguides, because we live in a time of traveling, experiance and learning. How can an analyzing method of websites be shaped? This Bachelor thesis is a case study that explores the possibilities and complications to use social media in marketing purposes. The case involves a company that sells garments for men. The company, named Mouli, has decided to use social media as their marketing platform. Är medieelevens datorkunskaper likvärdiga medielärarens? : En självskattning från lärarens och elevens perspektiv

The aim of this essay is to get knowledge and to evaluate if the media student has equal or evenbetter knowledge of information technology (IT) than his/her teacher. Today the student of IToften has knowledge of hard ware and soft ware sometimes even unknown to the teacher. Themain reason for this might be that IT hitherto has played no prominent part at the institutes ofteacher education. Continuing further education of IT for teachers is also eligible as IT still is arather new subject on the time table.To adopt an empiric approach to the problem I have used trough interviewing and questions bothteachers and students at two upper secondary schools in the province of Värmland. The schoolsare called ?A? and ?B? in my investigation.Does the teacher have enough knowledge to give the student relevant knowledge concerninghard ware as well as soft ware to handle the computer and to utilize its possibilities? How can theteacher act to comply with the students? claims and demands?IT-knowledge can be expressed in a complicated way but I have limited my investigation to therole of the teacher and how he/she manages to teach and instruct concerning a selected numberof soft ware and how the students evaluate their own knowledge compared to that of the teacher.My investigation shows that the teachers consider their knowledge relevant for their task asinstructors and teachers.

Ideologi och Kommersialisering : ?En studie om hjälporganisationers användande av sociala medier som marknadsföringskanal

The purpose of this report is to analyze and evaluate non-profit organizations way of working with social media within the organization, from a marketing perspective. We have made observations of three organizations and completed a series of interviews with representatives within the organizations.In the report we came up with five factors that are necessary for non-profit organizations in order to receive long term donations with the use of social media; Trust, awareness, involvement, interaction and Word of mouth marketing.Our result shows that the organizations have realized the potential and benefits of using social media, but have not come very far in the process of using it properly. Our conclusion is that social media can give assumptions for long term donations, if the organizations use a customer perspective and give their customers added value..
