Den här rapporten har utrett möjligheten att automatiskt identifiera diken frånflygburet insamlat LiDAR-data. Den metod för identifiering som har valts harförst skapat en höjdbild från LiDAR-data. Därefter har den tagit fram kandidatertill diken genom att vektorisera resultatet från en linjedetektering. Egenskaper-na för dikeskandidaterna har sedan beräknats genom en analys av höjdprofilerför varje enskild kandidat, där höjdprofilerna skapats utifrån ursprungliga data.Genom att filtrera kandidaterna efter deras egenskaper kan dikeskartor med an-vändarspecificerade mått på diken presenteras i ett vektorformat som underlättarvidare användning. Rapporten beskriver hur algoritmen har implementerats ochpresenterar också exempel på resultat.

Personliga åsikter, omdömen och erfarenheter exponeras via socialamedier och görs därmed tillgängliga för företag och andra individer att ta del av.Syfte: Studiens syfte är att ge en kvalificerad beskrivning av Big Data som idag utgören stor hype, samt att lyfta fram begreppet ur ett affärsetiskt perspektiv.

Over 90% of forestry work is carried out today by contractors, thereforeclear agreements between the client and the contractor it is of utmostimportance. Contract Packages for work within the forest sector (APSE) is acollection contract templates that the industry jointly developed for thispurpose. The purpose of this thesis is to examine how forest contractors doto keep themselves updated of the current laws and government regulations,which channels are available to accomplish this and what possible obstaclesmay occur. 20 interviews were conducted with contractors engaged inlogging. The results show, among other things, the availability of and whichchannels most contractors use out of which aggravating circumstances existand how strong they are perceived and what is expected of the client in thisregard..

Detta arbete har utförts under 10 veckor och har resulterat i en gemensam digital karta över Falun, Borlänge och Säters kommun. För att lyckas komma fram till resultatet har jag utfört en rad analyser av ingående data, och likriktat data så att framställandet av en gemensam karta blivit möjligt. Arbetet har varit indelat i två delar, insamling och likriktning av data samt kartografisk anpassning av data. Den första delen av examensarbetet har tagit upp den största delen av tiden, medan betydligt mindre tid lagts på den kartografiska anpassningen. Data som använts har samlats in från kommunernas primärkartor, Lantmäteriets fastighetskarta samt Vägverkets Nationella vägdatabas (NVDB).

Arcoma is a company that develops and manufactures X-ray equipment for hospitals. One of the most crucial components is the digital detector. Due to the high cost it is made removable so it could be transferred and used in other X-ray apparatus. The detector is placed in a so called detector holder. The current detector has a rectangular shape which sometimes requires a 90 degree rotation to match the shape of the patient.

Children shoes today is designed with the idea that there feet need a lot of support.Due to this the shoes are stiff all over and children are not recommend to wereshoes when they learn how to walk1. It is also quite difficult to squeeze there feet into these shoes.My project is about minimizing the gap between learning how to walk bare footindoors to take the first steps outside. And while doing that create a collection ofshoes and create a new brand; My First Sneakr.My First Sneakrs is inspired by retro sneakers, hiphop- and street culture. Theshoes are colored with attitude and the models are unisex. The outsoles are soft tomimic the bare foot feeling.The shoe has an opening feature in the back, making it easy to put on.

In some coastal areas in Sweden water shortage sometimes appears because the withdrawal of groundwater is greater than the groundwater recharge. It creates a situation where the available groundwater is insufficient to support residents and businesses with drinking water. The high withdrawal of groundwater also creates a risk for saltwater intrusion to drinking water wells. The problem most commonly occurs during the summer when the groundwater recharge is low, but the population is high, due to tourism and summer residents.The purpose of this study was to investigate how local water supply in areas affected by water shortage can be solved as sustainable as possible. The work was divided into three parts where the first part comprised of a literature review on water systems in which four different options were investigated: artificial groundwater recharge, rainwater harvesting, desalination and water reuse.

Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att införskaffa lämplig utrustning till förbearbetning och oförstörande provning. Utrustningen ska användas till rör som svetsas på insidan. Arbetsgivare är Areva Uddcomb i Karlskrona. Vi har använts oss av metoder från Fredy Olson. Detta för att få en enkel och sammansatt struktur i arbetet. Problemställningen har såvida varit att bearbeta rören på insidan för att kunna applicera en svets och att kunna lokalisera om en defekt uppkommit i svetsen.

Arbetet har utförts år 2009 på Siemens IndustrialTurbomachinery AB (SIT AB) i Finspång. Syftet med arbetet är att minska läckaget av kylluftvid ledskena 2 på SGT-800, med hänsyn tagen till kostnad och verkningsgrad. Arbetet utgickfrån en bakgrundstudie där problemet fastställdes och en kravspecifikation sammanställdes.Effekter och kostnader av kylluftsreduceringen låg till grund för beräkningarna. Femgrundkoncept genererades med utgångspunkt från kravspecifikationerna.

This study in the subject of forest planning is made for Sveaskog and its aim is to develop tools that prognosticate outcome in terms of volumes per sort from not yet cut forest stands. The degree of detail is just to get reliable results for at least one months volumes, for Sveaskogs own forestland in the market region of Norrbotten that is about 100 000 m3fub. The course of action to accomplish this is regression analysis and the data consists of cut tracts on own forestland in Norrbotten during the years 2006, 2007 and 2008. That is a little more than 4 million m3fub. Two tools were made.

The farm management system controlled traffic farming (CTF) aims to reduce soil compaction by restricting the field traffic from agricultural machinery to permanent traffic lanes. Literature and empirical findings show that soil compaction and field traffic from heavy machinery may affect crop growth negatively, reducing crop yields. If grass-clover leys are subject to heavy field traffic the botanic composition might be altered, providing a lower clover content in the forage. Clover as a silage feed is rich in protein providing good conditions for high yielding dairy cows. Grass-clover silage production is generally associated with intensive field traffic.

BackgroundWhen women have breast pain this usually is not associated with myocardial infarction, which results in that they get less attention and wrong treatment. The nurse has an important role in informing and educating patients and families during hospitalization, which is usually short. Continuous training, written information and repetition for patient and family throughout the hospital stay are of considerable importance to clarify that the patient understands and to reduce the anxiety of being discharged.AimThe aim is to describe nurses' experiences of caring for older women with myocardial infarction.MethodsA qualitative method was used. The collection of data was done by six interviews with nurses in geriatric care and elderly care. Dataset has been processed based on a content analysis and divided into subcategories and main categories using meaningful units.ResultsNot having knowledge of older women with myocardial infarction was expressed as frustrating and nurses described how they were afraid to ask their colleagues.

In this study I have compared two systems of handling TMR, self-propelled/ self loading mixers and conventional towed mixers, what has been investigated is the time for filling, mixing and feeding TMR as well as maintenance and fuel consumption. The background of this study is the structural rationalization within the Swedish milk production that has put focus on efficiency and reducing of costs. Forage and labour are the two biggest costs in milk production today. The study has been performed by visiting three farms and with a stopwatch measured the times for filling, mixing and feeding TMR. At the time for the visits, the users have been interviewed regarding maintenance and fuel consumption. They have also had an opportunity to give comments of how they experience the mixers. The result of the study after processing is that the average stock in the study can save 74000 SEK a year by reducing time for filling, mixing and feeding TMR to cows with a self propelled/ self loading mixer . The conclusion I can make of this study is that it?s not the size of the stock that decides whether it?s interesting to invest in a self propelled/ self loading mixer, but the presumptions on the farms, for instance forage logistics and mechanical equipment..
