It also aims to portray how Östers IF has moved from concept to reality with the new soccer stadium.Method - The case study of the project organization in Östers IF where made ??using semi-structured interviews and participant observations.

In this study we have investigated the procedures of change with the aim of identifying which pedagogical processes in work procedures that enables organizational learning. Furthermore, the study aimed at gaining insight of how the work procedures enable organizational learning in a learning organization. We have utilized case study tradition to examine specific occurrences in their natural environment to thereby understand the matter of investigation.

The scope is to develop an innovative solution for a common known problem and work with all parts within the man-machine-way. Examensarbetet har utförts under hösten 2004, inom ämnesområdet Logistik vid Linköpings Tekniska Högskola, på Volvo Aero Corporation i Trollhättan. Företagets verksamhet består av utveckling och tillverkning av komponenter och reservdelar till, samt montering och underhåll av civila och militära flygplansmotorer. Volvo Aero har haft problem med hög kapitalbindning och har mycket artiklar med låg lageromsättningshastighet. Ett höjt tryck från koncernledningen på en ökad lageromsättningshastighet samtidigt med en volymuppgång har medfört en önskan om fler artiklar i lager och produktion på artiklar med hög efterfrågan. För att klara denna volymuppgång och samtidigt öka lageromsättningshastigheten måste de ta bort den del av lagret med lägst rörlighet, vilket har föranlett denna studie.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine whether the concept of permanent establishment, as defined in Article 5 of the OECD Model Tax Convention on Income and Capital, is applicable to electronic commerce and if so whether the current definition is able to appropriately deal with the challenges of electronic commerce.In 2003, the OECD added a new section to the Commentary on the Model Tax Convention on Article 5. The new section is a clarification on the application of the permanent establishment definition in electronic commerce.The current definition of permanent establishment in the Model Tax Convention relies on the physical presence of a foreign corporation as the threshold for source taxation. While the current definition, prima facie, might be applicable on electronic commerce, the highly mobile nature of electronic commerce might affect the current revenue distribution equilibrium between states..

Studien behandlar Stratford, London och syftar till att utifrån olika perspektiv analysera den pågående stadsförnyelsens betydelse för Stratford och dess invånare samt vilken del de Olympiska Spelen haft i stadsförnyelsen. För att undersöka detta fokuserar uppsatsen på att studera konsekvenserna av stadsförnyelsen för faktorer som bostads- och arbetsmöjligheter i området. Det undersöks utifrån frågeställningarna: hur har stadsförnyelsen i Stratford påverkat Stratford och dess invånare, med betoning på arbete och bostad samt på vilka sätt har OS haft betydelse för stadsförnyelsen i Stratford. Studien relaterar till teorier kring gentrifiering och globala städer. Uppsatsen har baserats på semistrukturerade intervjuer, litteraturstudier av dokument från bland annat London Borough of Newham och London Legacy development Corporation samt observation.

The thesis work has been carried out at Volvo Aero Corporation (VAC) in Trollhättan. VAC has entered a partnership as developing and producing partner with engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney and is currently at the starting phase of producing the turbine rear frame (TEC) to the engine PW1000.The purpose of this study was to create a report on process level that describes the conditions and the potential with PW1000 TEC to reach the product cost calculation taking into account lead times and describe alternative method solutions.The report describes a comparison between the present flow (2012), a flow based on product cost calculation (2016) and a potential flow (2016). The work has mainly been based on acquiring the knowledge and information available to inspect the present flow; this has been done by workshop observations, meetings and gathering of the information that is available on the work site for the PW1000 TEC.The information obtained has been merged into an Excel document, called Roadmap. It serves as a roadmap with current situation as the start and the potential flow for 2016 as the goal. With the roadmap as a tool, assumptions have been taken considering the flow and how it will change, where processes have been eliminated, reduced or marked as a problem..

Implementation of a quality management system in food production

The aim of this study was to investigate how the process of implementing a quality management system for food safety was handled in four different food producing companies in Sweden. The aim was also to analyze what difficulties the companies face and the possibilities that arise when certified. Furthermore, the reason for implementation was discussed as well as the main expectations on the certificate. Implementing a quality management system is a good way of ensuring the quality and hygiene of the food production and it also increases the traceability of food products through the whole food chain. A food safety standard provides a method of preventing problems and crisis and it can also help to handle requirements from authorities, the market and others.

The aim of this thesis was to investigate if the robotized welding method FSW (Friction Stir Welding) could be applied for joining a rotating structure in an aero engine at Volvo Aero Corporation. FSW is expected to introduce less defects than today?s welding methods and could therefore be suitable for critical aero components. The material is the nickel based alloy Inconel 718, however a material experimentation is outside the scope of this report.The main goal of this study is to verify if the ESAB ROSIO robot based FSW-system has a suitable work space to be able to weld the rotating structure, and if the welding tool has accessibility to the joints. The FSW-process needs a rigid fixture, and a number of fix-ture concepts are presented based on a proposed weld sequence.
