In recent years cognitive training in order to improve cognitive abilities have becomeincreasingly popular and a lot of research has been conducted within this field. The natural agingprocess has a negative effect on many of our cognitive abilities and this relationship also has a strongconnection with hearing loss. Elderly with hearing loss is therefore a group that could benefit fromcognitive training. Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate different types of cognitivetraining directed towards working memory in older adults and to examine the results observedregarding efficacy of this type of training and its transfer effect. Method: A literature reviewconsisting of 17 scientific articles published between 2005-2014.

Bottom-up processer associeras med akustiska och fonetiska egenskaper hos en inkommande signal och top-down processer associeras med lexikala, syntaktiska, semantiska samt kontextuella egenskaper. Förmågan att utnyttja top-down processer tros bero på kapaciteten hos arbetsminnet. För att undersöka en skillnad mellan bottom-up och top-down samt deras förhållande till arbetsminnet har ett Speech-in-Noise (SIN) test utformats och genomförts på 15 försöksdeltagare. Testet undersöker skillnader i tröskelvärden för att identifiera ett enstavigt ord i ett uppåtgående förhållande till stationärt brus, mot tröskelvärden för att identifiera ett enstavigt ord i stationärt brus med hjälp att top-down stöd.

The aim of this study is to examine how and in what way users of the public participate and affect the archival information that is to be preserved for the future through the examination of three archival projects involving public participation. The study seeks to examine if participation of the public could lead to increased democracy and diversity of information in the archives. The study will be performed through the examination of three participatory archives all tied to traditional archival institutions.The study is based on the theoretical framework of Benn and Gaus and their notions of public and private which they discuss using the key words access, agency and interest. The study also takes into consideration Laura Millar?s theories of social memory as a means for the public good.

abstractBackground: Dementia affected patients have increasing problems with memory , impaired language ability, which affects communication and behaviour is considerable. These difficulties may provide an outlet for aggression, agitation and anxiety, and are common in dementia, which is exhausting for patients and their relatives and carers. Behavioural changes are common condition in patients with dementia and affects quality of life and cause unnecessary suffering . Pharmacological treatment that is inserted to relieve these symptoms have many side effects. Printed out more knowledge about non- pharmacological nursing interventions that can facilitate care for patients , relatives and carers are great.Aim: To describe non- pharmacological nursing interventions in dementia care .Method: A general literature review of thirteen scientific papers compiled and described in a result.Results: Compilation resulted in two themes,  Music in dementia care and Stimulation in dementia care and four subthemes, Singing in the care, Listening to music, Activities and Consolation and fillip that showed a dominant positive effect on dementia affected patients and carers and there by create opportunities for caring in dementia care .Conclusion: The different nursing interventions may be useful in dementia care when they show a dominant positive effect on various behavioural changes, it seems memory stimulant and promotes communication between patients and carers which favours caring .Keywords: Agitated behaviour, dementia, non- pharmacological, literature review, nursing. .

Mentaliseringsförmåga innebär förmågan att ta en annan persons perspektiv, att förstå hur någon annan tänker och känner. Det innebär även att förstå de egna tankarna och reaktionerna relaterat till andra personers tankar och känslor. Det är viktigt med en välfungerande mentaliseringsförmåga för att kunna samverka med andra individer och sin omgivning på ett pragmatiskt och ändamålsenligt sätt. Det finns flera olika förmågor som kan vara viktiga för mentaliseringsförmågan, i vilken grad de påverkar är dock fortfarande oklart. Syftet med detta arbete var att undersöka mentaliseringsförmågan och dess samvariation med andra kognitiva förmågor hos barn i åldrarna 6-7 år.

AbstractHow do we remember? What do we remember? How does the memory change over time? These are the main questions in this essay.Five persons, who have lived or are still living in the old parish Rystad, situated seven kilometers from the town Linkoping south of Lake Roxen, have participated in interviews. They have been given the possibility to present their oral history which has been recorded and later transmitted to texture. The participants represent different social backgrounds and professions and they were born between the years 1920 ? 1936.

When the local authorities establish a plan for land use planning, they have to judge if the influence on the environment could be of such a grade that they have to make a special Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), following national laws and EU-directives. The laws for the process in Sweden is set by the Swedish Parliament, with advisory given by the central government authority, the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning, Boverket. For EU, the laws is set by the European Parliament and the Council. The laws and directions for this process have been changed for Sweden in recent years, and the aim of this study was to compare the contents of three different Environmental Impact Assess¬ments to see if there has been any change in appearances and content in later years, as well as to see if different municipalities and authors have effect on the EIAs. According to different studies some of the EIA done are without insufficient focus on main environmental issues in the EIA, or even that some information is missing.

Proteinerna i provet joniseras och rör sig mot en detektor, vilket ger ett m/z-spektrum som jämförs med referensspektrum i en databas och ett score-värde erhålls över hur väl analyten liknar referensen. Arbetets syfte var att undersöka möjligheten att direktidentifiera bakterier från blod med en viss preparation innan analys med MALDI-TOF MS och på så vis möjliggöra snabbare preliminära svar samt undersöka möjligheten att särskilja Staphylocoocus aureus och koagulasnegativa stafylokocker. Organizations are about people in interaction. Human itself is complex, and the complexity increases when people are grouped. When creating groups there is a need for a structure, an order between the people in the group. Companies have an organization - riding school is also a company and should have an organization. Many studies have been done related to the riding school but there is no documentation about organizations at riding schools, and a research is needed. The aim of the study was to clarify if riding schools in Sweden has a well considered organization.
