The purpose of this thesis was to examine relevance of the proposition made by new insitutionalists about institutional and technical environment. This proposition originaly made by Meyer & Rowan (1977) has two core assumptions: The first is that all organizations are controlled by combinations of types of demands; technical demands for efficient production and institutional demands to adept to cultural and normative expectations. The second assumption is that there exists a few organizations dominated almost entirely by one typy of demand. Organizations dominated by institutional demands are said to live in an institutional environment, while technical organizations is said operate in a technical environment. This thesis has examined if these assumptions are still applicable in describing organizational interaction with the environment.

Ditch cleaning is increasingly important in Swedish forestry. This study compare different concepts concerning machinery, namely two general-purpose excavators of different sizes, 8 tonnes and 15 tonnes, versus a dedicated machine constructed solely to deal with ditch-cleaning. The machines were tested on rough as well as on gentle terrain and on open terrain as well as in young stands in connection with thinning. The conclusions were that the excavators are more versatile and have greater capacity than the dedicated machine, while the latter excels in quality of work. Systemintegration är ett omfattande ämne som innehåller en uppsjö av begrepp och teorier, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) är den avgränsning som genomförts inom detta område och fokuserar på en mer praktisk synvinkel av systemintegration. Vidare har det även avgränsats till en designers syn på EAI. Med dessa avgränsningar har en induktiv studie genomförts av tre framstående organisationer som är verksamma inom systemintegration. Genom att genomföra intervjuer med personer som dagligen arbetar med EAI identifierades 17 faktorer. Dessa faktorer analyserades och jämfördes med befintlig teori inom området för ERP och EAI.

The purpose with this study was to give a time budget of the behaviour of the captive wolves? (Canis lupus) and occurrence of behavioural disturbances and how this is affected of human visitors. For this purpose the wolves at Nordens Ark have been studied during off season as well as on season. The zoo Nordens Ark is an idealistic foundation which was founded in 1988 and is located at Åby säteri, 130 km north of Gothenburg.

I det moderna samhället utför många privatpersoner ekonomiska handlingar på Internet. Vi handlar i större utsträckning via Internet vilket kräver att vi skyddar oss mot olika datasäkerhetshot för att vår personliga information inte hamnar i fel händer. I studien gjordes en kartläggning på privatpersoners medvetenhet av datasäkerhetshot genom enkätundersökningar. Vidare undersökte vi vad två e-handelsföretag gör för att skydda privatpersonens personliga information. Resultaten visade att datasäkerhetsmedvetenheten var hög hos många privatpersoner men det fanns ett samband mellan ålder och medvetenhet.
