Abstract:Perennials in public areas have during the latest decades been more and more popular. This group of plants has become a more accepted komponent when creating pleasant public places, and people begin to see the functional aspects. Perennials do also give a colour- and senceexperience in a more detailed way than can be achieved with only trees and shrubs. One of the ojects of this essay is to give more examples of motives for using perennials in urban areas.Having in mind the increasing use of perennials, you can expect a growing need for better understading of how to create successfull perennial plantings. In spite of the increasing interest it is hard to find any written information in this subject.

I denna systematiska litteraturstudie sammanställs forskning om ämnet utomhusmatematik. Insamlingen av datan har skett via sökningar i databasen ERIC (Ebsco) efter vetenskapligt granskade artiklar. Artiklarna har analyserats och resultatet av studien har gett en tydligare inblick av utomhusmatematik, men även om utomhuspedagogik. Det som återkommer är sambandet mellan matematiken och elevernas vardag, att eleverna måste förstå dessa kopplingar för att kunna utvecklas i matematiken. Studien har visat på vikten av elevdelaktighet, problemlösning samt för- respektive nackdelar med utomhusmatematik.

The subject of this bachelor-level thesis in archaeology in the transition from archaic sapiens to anatomically modern humans, and what might have caused this transition. A part of the study aims to prove or disprove whether an increased consumption of shellfish might have caused this development. Another part of the essay deals with the connection of said evolution and the suggested emergence of cultural and ritual practices in South Africa circa 100 000 BP and an evaluation of the arguments concerning the aquatic ape hypothesis, and their usefulness for the subject.The result of investigation of the theory about the increased consumption of marine resources as a probable cause of the last biological step of creating our species points to the conclusion that it is a probable explanation. There is even some evidence that there could be a connection between consumption of marine resources and the "Out of Africa 2"-theory. It is harder to find a proven connection between the suggested emergence of cultural and ritual practices, even some evidence seems to strengthen the idea.

Studiens syfte är att undersöka elevers uppfattningar om matematik och hur mycket och vad lärare vet om sina elevers uppfattningar. Syftet är även att undersöka vad lärare anser om användbarheten av kunskaper om enskilda elevers uppfattningar. Studien innehåller en teoretisk och en empirisk del. En fallstudie har genomförts i en klass i år 6. Den empiriska delen är uppdelad i tre delar; elevenkäten, lärarenkäten och lärarintervjuerna.

Ethanol fuel is a biofuel, which been widely reported in the public debate and on the fuel market the last years. Ethanol is sold as both E85 and as a five percent admixture of all petrol sold in Sweden. Research studies on ethanol fuel often focus on environmental issues surrounding the production and utilization of ethanol as a fuel, and omits the private and business aspects of the subject. Denna uppsats undersöker om det finns något samband mellan vilken typ av företagskultur ett systemutvecklingsföretag har och till vilken omfattning de jobbar med användarmedverkan. Intervju- och enkätundersökningar har genomförts för att belysa företagens företagskulturer samt hur de arbetar med användarmedverkan. Mitt syfte med detta examensarbete är att se hur man bör hantera elever med behov av särskilt stöd i matematik. För att få en bättre förståelse för ämnesvalet har jag läst i litteraturen om hur vanligt förekommande matematiksvårigheterna är, vilka hinder som finns för inlärning i matematik samt hur man ska hantera eleverna med behov av särskilt stöd. Dessutom har jag genomfört en undersökning i år 6 på två olika skolor. Jag har intervjuat lärare och speciallärare om hur de hanterar de elever som inte nådde upp till godkänt på det nationella provet i matematik i år 5. Jag har även studerat skolornas kommunala skolplaner samt lokala arbetsplaner, för att se vilka riktlinjer som ges i arbetet med elever i behov av särskilt stöd.

This essay covers the subject of children with language disorders. We are two educators writing an experience-based essay on our preschool experiences and the literature with the subject of speaking disorders and verbal development. The main focus of this essay is how educators can recognize and stimulate children with language disorder. The starting point in the essay is two experience-based events from preschool which tells of two different boys, aged three and four. Both boys have some kind of verbal disorder and one of them also has Down´s syndrome.

This is a qualitative study aiming to find out how and why teachers work with art, music and movement in the English subject in the early years. In this study we have conducted a background study of previous research and as a starting point and as a point for reference we have relied on education policy documents like The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and the Swedish curriculum for the English school subject. Our research has consisted of interviews with six teachers and ten observation occasions in a total of three different primary schools. Our result show that there seems to be a consensus in both theory and praxis when it comes to integrating art, music and movement in learning and teaching of English in the early school years. The use of methods including art, music and movement in early language learning seems to promote the language development for all students but especially for young learners that require extra support for their language development.

This trend poses new demands on web developers as more companies and product owners want to customize their services and products for this new market. In this study we examine the pros and cons of the strategies desktop-first and mobile-first in the development of adaptive interfaces for the web. The study aims to create guidelines for situations in which each strategy fits well. The purpose of the study is to create an understanding of how these strategies can help developers and product owners to develop adaptive interfaces based on different goals and objectives.

Recently, researchers have begun to voice concerns about the potential risks if we do not address the inherent biases in these systems. After all, AI is merely code based on mathematics produced by humans. This essay focuses on Stable Diffusion and Midjourney to examine biases in fashion representation and how fashion is visualized and reproduced concerning race, social class, and culture. I denna uppsats tänker vi analysera ett systemutvecklingsfall där en användare hade väldigt stor roll i utvecklingsarbetet. Syftet med studien är att bidra till ökade kunskaper om vilka faktorer påverkar nyttan av användarmedverkan i systemdesign. Vi gjorde en fallstudie om ett projekt där författarna hjälpte en läkare att utveckla en applikation för att hålla reda på blodaccesser hos dialyspatienter enligt en användarcentrerad metod. Det visade sig att användarmedverkan gick mycket bra och var avgörande för kravspecifikationen och design av databasen men design av gränssnitt gick mycket sämre. Analysen visade att problemen uppstod främst när gränssnittsdesignen utfördes utan användaren.
