From an organizational standpoint social media has become a way for organizations to get closer to, and create a dialogue with, their environment. Swedish municipalities have began to use social media in their daily communication with the environment, but a problem has been raised about how public organizations should organize their social media when formal guidelines from the government are missing.Objective: The objective of this thesis is to examine how eight Swedish municipalities have organized their use of social media due to the lack of official guidance from the government, and also what difficulties that have occurred during this process.Method: The method used is qualitative with data collected through interviews with one respondent from each municipality.Results: The result show that the organizational solutions varies through each municipality but also the choice of social media. It has been important for municipalities to have someone in charge of the new communication tool since social media is a fast and communicative channel. Seven out of eight municipalities have already developed or are in process of developing their own formal guidelines on how to use social media.

AbstractThe aim of the study was to describe district nurses experiences meeting intimate of cancer patients in home care. The study had a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The sample consisted of ten district nurses employed in primary health care, working in emergency duty in a district in the Middle of Sweden. The results are presented from the two categories; to communicate and being competent, which was formulated to one theme. The theme ?Being safe in one´s professional role, being aware of possibilities and difficulties when encountering intimates in home care?.

Uppsatsen är ett resultat av en explorativ studie som undersöker projektledarens uppfattning av interaktionsdesign ur ett resursperspektiv. Detta görs genom en kvalitativ undersökning med projektledare för systemutvecklingsprojekt. Utifrån vilka det gjordes en nulägesrapport om hur vida resurserna som läggs på interaktionsdesign är adekvata. För att få en ytterligare aspekt på behovet intervjuades även en interaktionsdesignskonsult. Studiens resultat visade att det skiljer sig mellan olika typer av projekt hur vidare tillräckligt med resurser läggs ner på interaktionsdesign.

Children with Reading and Writing Difficulties and Their Language and Cognitive AbilitiesA Comparison with Children with a Cochlear ImplantAbstractThe aim of this study was to examine the cognitive abilities that are important for reading in children with reading disabilities, children with a cochlear implantation and typically developed children. 64 children aged 10-12 years participated in the study. To answer the question at issue we used the following tests: Block Design from WISC III, PPVT III, TOWRE, SL 40 and a few chosen tests out of the SIPS battery. On tests of the lexical access children with reading disabilities performed at the same level as hearing children, while the children with a cochlear implant performed significantly lower. Test of the phonological and complex working memory showed that children with reading disabilities performed significantly higher than children with a cochlear implant, but at the same time lower than typically developed children on the test of phonological working memory.

Syftet med detta arbete är att ta reda på om läxor ger fördjupad kunskap inom ett ämne. Vidare vill vi veta vad syftet med läxor är. Vi har genomfört femton intervjuer, jämt fördelade mellan lärare, elever och föräldrar. Resultatet pekar på att läxor behövs, men att eleverna vill ha en annan typ av hemuppgifter än de i nuläget har. Vi genomförde även mindre studie på sex av våra egna barn för att få veta hur mycket tid de trodde sig lägga på sina läxor och hur lång tid de i verkligheten ägnade åt läxläsning. Vår slutsats är att om läxor ges, ska de vara väl genomtänkta och att det kan skapas utrymme för att göra läxorna under skoldagen. Nyckelord: läxor, kreativitet, individ, variation.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att bidra med kunskap om hur Use Cases kan användas och omdet fanns en möjlighet att återanvända dem. Use Cases är ett av de mest användaverktygen för modellering, de beskriver en sekvens av en händelse som inskaffar ettmätbart värde. Use Cases fångar funktionaliteten i olika situationer. Vår studie varkoncentrerad på skillnaden mellan Use Cases så som vi uppfattat Rational UnifiedProcess (RUP) modell jämfört med Telecas återanvändbara Use Cases. The purpose of the study is to examine how teachers and students believe that graphing calculators affect the teaching of high school mathematics courses. By becoming aware of this, teachers and teacher students have the opportunity to reflect on the use of graphing calculators in their teaching. The empirical base consists of interviews with teachers and a survey among students at two high schools in southern Sweden. The results show that teachers especially consider the graphing calculator as a tool, much like paper and pencil. They use it if and when it is deemed able to contribute in a significant way in their teaching, either to save time and/or to help deepen the understanding of various mathematical concepts and methods.

The purpose of this qualitative study is to understand and examine the problem andreason why second language pupils have difficulties reaching the goals of thecurriculum in ?Swedish as a second language?. The study is based on interviews withtwo second language teachers and Vygotskijs and Antonovskys theories. The interviewswith teachers gave a broader view on why these difficulties exist and whatconsequences might occur. This analysis shows that there can be different reasons as towhy pupils can not reach the goals in their second language that are set for them.

Social media provides, as many points out, new possibilities for marketing. Marketing in social media requires a two way communication, rather than the traditional marketing where the communication model is typically sender ? receiver.To create a marketing campaign that is suitable for a two way communication model has its difficulties and risks as well as its opportunities. I vårt arbete har vi använt oss av kvalitativa, semi - strukturerade intervjuer som metod. Vi har intervjuat fem pedagoger som undervisar i matematik i år 4 och 5 samt 12 av deras elever i matematiksvårigheter. Genom examensarbetet har vi fått fördjupad insikt i hur pedagoger uppfattar matematiksvårigheter och vilka strategier de använder för att hjälpa elever i matematiksvårigheter. Vårt resultat pekar på en undervisning som för pedagogernas del är komplex och där det finns svårigheter att anpassa undervisningen för att möta varje individ.
