Government regulations and customs duties restrict the import of trucks to some of the markets to which Scania tries to sell their trucks. The distribution problem due to these regulations is solved by the foreign assembly department, KD, at Scania. This means that competence is needed and costs are added not related to Scania's core operations.The aim of this master thesis has been to analyse and to evaluate alternative ways of managing the packing operations considering cost, quality and work organisation. To study and examine the work methods and operations of today and also to present methods measuring the operations effectiveness and productivity.We have used the system approach to maintain totality and to understand the component's relation to this totality. Field studies combined with studies of relevant literature and studies of other companies operations have given us the knowledge and the understanding of the packing operations needed.

In this thesis I set out to study how the reading of fictional literature is viewed, legitimatized and operationalized in two educational domains: the recently revised steering documents that all Swedish teachers must relate to, as well as a selection of teaching materials designed for education in the Swedish language for upper secondary school. The teaching material I have studied has been recently updated in order to correspond with the new steering documents. I relate my analysis to previous research about the use of fiction in education, and I also combine my analysis of the two educational domains to see whether the underlying intentions of the steering documents have influenced the revision of the teaching material. The outcome indicates that the steering documents? previous focus on culture has diminished although a certain insecurity as to how to use the concept and deal with the issue of whose culture should be taught can be identified.

Syftet med denna rapport är att undersöka om det går att integrera en inomhusantenn i ett textilt material. Rapporten utgår från en design breif från företaget Teracom Group som är en del av kampanjen ?The Optimal Indoor Antenna?. Problemet som uppstått är att Boxer Danmark anser att den danska populationen inte tycker att de befintliga inomhusantennerna är tillräckligt estetiskt tilltalande. Detta problem har det forskats kring genom litteraturstudier, empiriska studier, material- och designstudier samt produktutveckling.

Biltrafiken ökar idag i allt större utsträckning. Bilen, och därmed parkeringsytorna, anses ofta vara viktiga för stadens tillgänglighet och ger starkt utslag i såväl handeln, arbeten och kulturlivet i staden. För de städer som har en trång stadskärna kan det vara svårt att tillgodose behovet av parkeringsplatser. Framförallt i innerstaden är det hög efterfrågan på parkeringsplatser samtidigt som konkurrensen om marken är hög för alternativ markanvändning. Biltrafiken tar ofta även upp stora ytor i städerna och kan på så vis bidra till en lägre densitet och en mer bilberoende stad.

Detta examensarbete behandlar fenomenet att använda djurkroppar som material. Studiens syfte är att undersöka fenomenet döda djur och djurkroppar i konst, hantverk och design, och lyfta fram på vilket sätt döda djur används och hur användandet kan tolkas och förstås. Teorin belyser relationen djur och människa ur historiskt perspektiv, hur djur framställts inom konsten, samt den etiska aspekten. Metod och material består i en analys utifrån texter och medier, och en kvalitativ intervju med Märta Mattsson, som skapar smycken av främst insekter. Studien visar på att djur har varit symbol för många olika saker som mod, tapperhet, häxkonst och erotik.

Aim: The aim of this study was to examine health professionals´ experiences of giving advice regarding sleep to parents of infants and to perform and evaluate an intervention in the form of introducing information about the sleep of infants.Method: The study was designed as an intervention study with a qualitative approach where data was collected from two focus groups in the form of interviews. The intervention consisted of the information material Sugen på sömn. There were five participants whom three of them participated in the second interview. The interviews were processed by content analysis.Results: Health professionals´ experience of giving advice on sleep was summarized in three themes. The experiences of giving advice in interaction with parents, health professional themselves experienced the power to influence the parents with the advice they gave, while the parents' previous experience and knowledge impacted on how the advice came into practice.

?Staden ur barnens ögon? Denna uppsats är ett resultat av en undersökning om barns rörelsefrihet och deras lekvanor i sin närmaste omgivning. Studien består av två delar. I den första delen intervjuade vi barn och tog sedan med dem på en promenad i sitt närområde. På så sätt fick vi förståelse för hur de uppfattar sin omgivning i innerstaden.

I dagens samhälle sker en förtätning av staden och det är ofta på bekostnad av grönytorna då det anses att de inte blir tillräckligt använda (Grahn, 1991, s. 6). Men det är samtidigt bevisat att man mår bättre av att vistas i naturen än bland bebyggelsen i staden. Speciellt stor effekt har naturen för återhämtning från stress (Sahlin, 2010, s. 29).

SUMMARYInventory of raw materials holds an important role in companies within the manufacturingsector. The inventory works as a buffer that secure the supply of materials to the productionunit. Att lärare utför merparten av arbetet i relation till andra människor kan tänkas skapa särskilda villkor för arbetet. Artikeln avses att belysa användbarheten hos artikelns fyra empiriska material vid studier av relationsarbetets villkor. Särskilt intresse ägnas åt organiseringen av de delar av arbetet som innefattar en lärare-elev-relation. Materialen omfattar tretton lärare inom specialpedagogisk verksamhet från grundskolans tidigare år till gymnasieskolan. Analysbegreppen är kommunikation, notistagande samt aspekterna avsikt, tid och rum.

Det senaste decenniet har stadsplaneringen i Sverige till stora delar handlat om förtätning, särskilt i centrala och vattennära lägen. Området Vilan i Kristianstad är ett verksamhetsområde med dessa förutsättningar. Vilan ligger nära Kristianstads centrum, alldeles intill Helge å och i anslutning till ett våtmarksområde. Jag har i mitt examensarbete valt att arbeta med en del av Vilan, nämligen den nordöstra delen. Det är en stadsdel med dålig struktur och liten kontakt med den natur och våtmarksområde som området gränsar till. Syftet med examensarbetet är att utreda hur ny bebyggelse med bostäder, handel, kontor och verksamheter kan utvecklas i ett område nära ett riksintresse för naturvård, ett naturreservat, ett ramsarområde och vatten. Kan bebyggelsen integreras med våtmarksområdet eller kan de existera i varandras närhet? Nordöstra Vilan är min fallstudie och ett exempel på detta.

The main purpose of this essay is to examine if it is possible to identify farms of ?forest Finnish? people in Sweden, by means of an archaeological analysis, comparing the forest Finnish settlement with known none-forest Finnish settlements. This study is based on material excavated from the farms of Grannäs, and Råsjö, in the Swedish provinces of Jämtland and Medelpad. Both farms are dated to the 17th and 18th century. The study itself is divided into three parts, firstly a general study to get an overview of the material, secondly a study of ceramics as an attempt to discern social status and lastly a study of the animal bone material for analyzing the forest Finns? livestock and possible hunting habits.
