We have been looking at three different types of agriculture in Södermanland, in the middle east of Sweden. We call the different types for Intensive, Extensive and Mix. The purpose is to get an economic defensible plan for how to run different farm sizes. We also have been looking at the working hours and how many hours the different types will give. We have a farm called Taxinge Gods as our pilot farm. Taxinge Gods grow 407 ha land and is located 60 km southwest from Stockholm.

Med utgångspunkt att lärare upplever elevers läsförståelse som svår att bedöma är syftet med denna studie att konkretisera det komplexa begreppet läsförståelse. Jag har tagit hjälp av läsförståelseforskning för att kunna återge en samlad bild av begreppet läsförståelse. Ett andra syfte är att försöka se hur begreppet läsförståelse förhåller sig till litterär analys och tolkning. Genom att ställa läsförståelseforskningens definition av läsförståelse mot en berättande text försöker jag förstå vad begreppet betyder och innebär i praktiken. För att kunna göra detta har jag utfört en litteraturanalys samt konstruerat ett läsförståelsetest på den berättande texten.

This degree project studied surface waters on Kåbo Golf Course in Uppsala, Sweden, with the aim of determining the status of the water and how it is affected by the activities of the golf club, and to obtain suggestions of measures to create better conditions for the water environment on and around the golf course. The project forms part of the environmental protection work of Kåbo Golf Club, which is working towards achieving environmental certification from the Swedish Golf Association (SGF). The study is based on literature studies and quantitative and qualitative field studies of water on the golf course, with the focus on environmental factors identified as being important for the golf industry and on strategic environmental goals developed by SGF. The number of open water bodies in the Swedish landscape has substantially declined during the past 200 years, so it is important to save those that remain. This study showed that the surface water at Kåbo Golf Course is an important element in the surroundings since the area contains few wetlands, which can be a habitat for large numbers of species. The stream and ponds on Kåbo Golf Course also have the important function of serving as water hazards in the game and adding difficulty and variety to the course. Since Kåbo Golf Club wants its surface waters to look aesthetically appealing, extensive algal growth and drying up of ponds during parts of the year are regarded as problems.

I denna studie undersöker jag hur det interreligiösa fredssamarbetet kan se ut mellan muslimer och kristna. Fokus ligger på en kvalitativ studie där tre muslimska och tre kristna interreligiöst aktiva fredsförespråkare i Stockholm förklarar sin syn på fredsskapande. Men det görs även nedslag i engelskspråklig litteratur där exempel från runt om i världen ges. Här nämner författarna sinsemellan vilka svårigheter som kan uppstå. Dessa svårigheter kan bland annat bero på vem som anses ha kunskaperna för att bedriva fredsarbete.

The most suitable method to answer the issues of this study was to do a combined literature- and questionnaire study. The literature part of the study was based on Original Research articles, Review Articles and books with a list of reference literature after each chapter and the purpose was to answer the questions ?What feed items should be given to rabbits in different life stages? and ?Which problems may develop from an inadequate diet?? Two questionnaires were constructed. One was sent by e-mail to small animal veterinary hospitals to be answered anonymously by veterinary nurses. The other was linked to from two internet forums, that with rabbits as their focus.

Den 1 juli 2011 grips den svenska frilansjournalisten Martin Schibbye och frilansfotografen Johan Persson efter att olovligt tagit sig in i Ogaden, Etiopien tillsammans med gerillarörelsen Ogadens nationella befrielsefront (ONLF). De blir dömda för terrorbrott och för att olovligt tagit sig in i landet och de dömdes till11 års fängelse. Den 10 september 2012 benådas de och den 11 september är de tillbaka i Sverige och möts på ABF i Stockholm av jubel från journalisterna som samlats. Under den här perioden så har de gått från förövare men främst offer till att bli hjältar för det svenska folket. Den här C-uppsatsen utgår ifrån tesen att Schibbye och Persson blev hjältar på grund av mediernas rapportering av de båda samt att det fanns en process som omvandlade Schibbye och Persson från främst offer till hjältar.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva genusordningen i Martin Widmarks böcker om Lasse-Majas detektivbyrå samt undersöka hur detta, på en teoretisk nivå, kan påverka barns uppfattning av genus. Utgångspunkten i textanalysen har varit Kritisk ideologianalys som syftar till att först beskriva och förklara texterna för att sedan sätta dem i relation till dess mottagare. Jag har använt mig av genusteorier som beskriver hur genusordningen är uppbyggd samt hur genus konstrueras och rekonstrueras. Dessa teorier har sedan kopplats till de böcker som jag har undersökt. Jag har också använt mig av forskning som beskriver barnlitteraturen och hur den kan påverka läsarens bild av genus och genusordningen.Min studie visade att karaktärerna i böckerna skildras på ett relativt könsstereotypt sätt, främst de vuxna karaktärerna.

How a speaker can use their posture, gesture, facial expression and voice to create a strong ethos, pistis and sense of trustworthiness is, in this paper, associated with charisma (the power of leadership or authority).Verbal and nonverbal expressions from three particular speeches by Martin Luther King, John F Kennedy and Bill Clinton have been analyzed in depth. The results show that patos as well as strong nonverbal expression are factors in inspiring devotion or creating enthusiasm. Personal magnetism and radiance is also found to develop through figures of speech and rhetorical devices, including metaphors. Results show that facial expressions, pitch and other prosodic information are not always consciously taken in. Nevertheless, it is questioned whether such information can affect the ethos and pistis developed.

Today, there are no regulations saying that cows must have access to some kind of shelter at pasture during the summer. In more tropical countries, it is well-known that dairy cows might suffer from heat stress when exposed to sun and high temperatures. The well-being of the cows is thereby reduced and the production may also decrease. In Sweden, no research has been done in the area and therefore it is now a clear need of improved knowledge.The purpose of this study was to investigate the importance of shade for dairy cows in Sweden. The behaviour of 30 cows was examined to see any differences between cows with access to shade and cows without access to shade.

What is forgetfulness? How does it show? Is it a part of memory or can it be considered on its own? In the philosophical discourse forgetfulness is limited and the phenomenon is mostly portrayed as a pathological or obscure counterpart of memory. This portraying of forgetfulness can be seen as traditional way of describing it, but there is some philosophers who has spoken of forgetfulness in more fruitful ways. These ways are not to be interpreted as aspirations to decouple forgetfulness from memory, rather they are to be seen as attempts to interpret this relation on another basis. This basis has also led this essay towards an interpretation of forgetfulness' relation to truth.

In this thesis I examine how the phenomenological philosophy of Edmund Husserl and Martin Heidegger differ with regard to the phenomenological reduction, and in particular why there is no reduction in Sein und Zeit. I examine in what way philosophy is seen as an overcoming of the naïvete of a ?natural? attitude and how this natural attitude is understood, starting with Husserl?s descriptions of the phenomenological reduction, of the natural attitude of our daily lives and of his notion of transcendental subjectivity. By presenting these main aspects, I try to elucidate why, in Husserl?s view, laying the foundation of all knowledge must take form of a phenomenological first philosophy.

This study aims to compare two ethnographies of organizational culture ? one from the discipline of Social Anthropology and one from the discipline of Organizational Studies ? considering their purpose, their method, and their concept of culture. Despite big similarities, or perhaps thanks to the similarities, some fundamental differences are made visible. The discipline of Organizational Studies has, compared to that of Social Anthropology, regarding the research method being used, less focus on, and less participation in, the informal social life of the organizational culture of the study. Regarding the concept of culture the Organizational Studies consider culture containing more of unity, stability and clear boundaries, compared to Social Anthropology.

I detta examensarbete har vi utfört en litteraturstudie med syfte att hitta hittills okända eller kommande trender som kan komma att ha stor påverkan på aktörerna inom ballastmarknaden i framtiden. Vi har funnit ett antal sådana trender. Vi har också utformat en modell med vars hjälp den långsiktiga tillgången och efterfrågan av ballast inom en specifik region kan undersöks. Prosthetic leg can give a negative psychological effect to the user, which ends up in decreased self-esteem and that the user hides his handicap. xCover gives a more natural volume and a cool look. xCover changes the look of the prosthetic leg C-leg. The product is constructed by us, Patrik Svensson and Magnus Zetterqvist, for Christoffer Lindhe at Lindhextend AB. Christoffer has hired Martin Bergman at Smedjan 17 to make the design.
