In the 1940s the Swedish town planning was inspired by the English city development with the concepts of neighbourhood and community planning. In order to promote democratic development and solidarity the ideal would be to create community centers with full service. Community centers are part of the building of the suburbs during the postwar period. The buildings in Sweden from 1940 - and -50s were built with the intentions to be good homes for all regardless of income, class and status. Collective solutions to individual problems were characteristic of the Swedish policy during this time.

Krav och möjligheter för programvara till framtidens mobila terminaler

Rapportens syfte är att undersöka vilka krav som ställs på programvaran till framtidens mobila terminaler och de möjligheter som kommer att finnas för denna. Detta inkluderar en liten undersökning om vad vi kan vänta oss för terminaler och vilken funktionalitet som dessa kan komma att ha. Eftersom det är svårt att ge en bild av hur de kommer att se ut har jag mest koncentrerat mig på att hitta lösningar som skall fungera oberoende av hur de mobila terminalerna utvecklas, naturligtvis inom vissa gränser. Detta innebär i realiteten att programlogik och beräkningar ligger på en server och att sedan bara användargränssnittet med kommunikation finns på den mobila terminalen. Rapporten går djupare in på WAP plattformen och sakerna runt denna eftersom detta är den i dagsläget bästa och mest accepterade specifikation för hur man skall göra programvara till mobila terminaler.

E-Handeln i Sverige : En studie om den offentliga statistikens möjligheter inom svensk e-handel

The Internet has developed into a Marketplace for national and international companies. With relatively small means, a company can reach out to millions of people on a daily basis by placing itself on the Internet. With this report, we wish to suggest how e-businesses can change its strategy to adapt to the new market. Focus is on the Swedish Internet market where Swedes, resident in Sweden, trades with Swedish e-companies active within the Swedish borders. To be able to make suggestions, we will first paint a picture of the Swedish e-commerce market from statistics collected from public sources.

Aktiv förvaltning : en utvärdering under volatil tid

Over a long period of time, there has been a rich debate in the academic and financial world if active management can generate an excess return. Many experts say that the current active management strategies is nothing more than a money grab that produces large gains, for banks and investment firms, through high management fees while producing no excess value for the individuals buying their service. In short, an effective market makes it almost impossible for fund managers to produce value for their clients in the long run.No argument has only one side though, other experts say that active management has a role to play because not all investors are rational. This irrationality can lead to mispricing on financial assets in the Marketplace and in turn lead to an ineffective market where active management can fill a much needed role. The purpose of this study is therefore to see if active management strategies can create a higher risk adjusted return, taking management fees into consideration, during times of high volatility when the uncertainty is at its peak.

Tanken är att bygga ett starkt varumärke för marknadsplatsen med det tydliga budskapet att "marknadsplatsen tillhandahåller ett brett utbud av prisvärda erbjudanden inom sport- och nöjesaktiviteter, om du väljer att anpassa ditt schema utifrån anläggningarnas lågbeläggningstider". Dessutom är det tänkt att marknadsplatsen ska ha funktionalitet som gör det enklare för användare att boka en tid via marknadsplatsen, genom att synkronisera de olika alternativ av aktiviteter och tider som personer inom en grupp av vänner är intresserade av. Brands havebecome one of the most important assets for success and are often critical for the choices of theconsumers.
