Cloud Computing has taken the IT world by storm and has created new opportunities for usersto seamlessly access different services. The cloud offers a variety of different services thatsuit both large and small organizations. Cloud computing is still in development and manyorganizations are beginning to consider or have implemented a form of cloud service. Thisalso leads to a series of questions and problems, both new and old. The IT industry hashighlighted a problem in organizations confidence in cloud services, because a third party willbe handling a part of the organization that the company has previously handled themselves.This papers main focus is how to increase organizations trust in cloud service providers.

?One-to-one marketing? är en marknadsföringsidé där relationen mellan kund och leverantör står i fokus. Den kunskap om en specifik kund som leverantören får via relationen kan användas för att utforma erbjudanden anpassade för just den kunden. Erbjudandena är ämnade att påverka relationen positivt och göra kunden lojal till leverantören. Nya tekniska hjälpmedel har medfört att information om kundens preferenser kan lagras och bearbetas för att därefter användas till att utforma dessaerbjudanden.
Musikwebben ? Ett alternativ till illegal fildelning?
The purpose of this thesis is to examine a new music downloading service called Musikwebben, which is now available in many Swedish libraries. It focuses on the differences and similarities between this service and illegal music sharing services. The question is raised, whether the appeal of Musikwebben is high enough for it to be able to ?recruit? users from similar, illegal services. To answer this question, a qualitative content analysis is used, to explore various views on what legal downloading services have to offer and how these differ to illegal alternatives.

In this study we are focusing on Instagram and marketing. We want to know how Web 2.0 and social media creates a new place for companies to market themselves and mostly how they are using the social network Instagram. The amount of swedes using Instagram is 28% and that is the double of what it was a year ago. This creates a whole new place for companies to market themselves and most importantly; it?s free.Our question at issue is In what way is fashion and interior design companies using marketing and Web 2.0 on Instagram and how does it reach individuals? To get an answer we contacted eight different companies and asked if they would like to answer some questions.
Tjänstemäns informationssökning: en intervjuundersökning vid Regeringskansliet
This thesis examines information seeking and information needs at the Swedish Government Offices. The Government Offices comprise the Prime Ministers Office, the Government Ministries and the Office for Administrative Affairs. Approximately 4 500 members of staff are employed, of whom around 120 are political appointees. For this study, interviews have been conducted with 15 senior officials and political appointees at the Government Ministries and the Prime Ministers Office. The interviews have been supplemented with literature studies based on user studies research in library and information science.

The purpose with this research is to examine how the green marketing in retail trade can be developed in order to promote the eco-labeled products closer to the consumer.The method for the survey includes interviews with managers of a few retailers and their customers in the industrial sector. The purpose with the interviews was to produce the retailer and the customer?s perspective of products with eco-label on.The research is limited to the region of Västra Götaland.The results from this research indicate that there is a lack of communication between the retailer and the consumer. The consumers don?t think that the product is available.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to explore the image of the librarian from three groups: librarians, researchers and directors of staff from industrial companies. The purpose was also to study the image of the future librarian as the Swedish School of Library and Information Science at the University College of Borås introduces it. As my theoretical framework I used communication theories and marketing theories. I searched answers to the following questions: - Is there any resemblance at all between the common stereotypes of the librarian and the images given by the participants of the survey? - How do the librarians view themselves? - What is the image of the librarian among the researchers who use the services of the library? - What is the image of the librarian among the directors of staff from the industrial companies? - What is the image of the librarian given by an educational institution during the basic education? I contacted the participants and asked them to draw a picture of a librarian and write a short text about the picture.
Motivations- och problemfaktorer vid införandet av Web Services i svenska företag
Från litteraturen påverkar införandet av Web Services hos 25 storföretag och 3 myndigheter i Sverige. Undersökningen utfördes genom en enkät där motivations- och problemfaktorerna indelades i tre kategorier: innovation, organisation och miljö/omgivning och dessa graderades sedan på en femgradig skala. Den viktigaste kategorin enligt respondenterna var organisation. Dessutom lämnades möjlighet till att lämna egna faktorer och kommentarer. Inom kategorin innovation graderade respondenterna som högsta motivationsfaktorn att Web Services fungerar bra ihop med kommande standarder och som näst viktigast faktorn fördelar med plattformsoberoende.

Futurum.kom is a collaborative marketing project with the aim of strengthening the internal organization of Länsbibliotek Sydost, Regionbibliotek Kalmar and the 25 public libraries within the southeast region. The project intends to externally build the brands of the public libraries in Blekinge, Kalmar and Kronobergs län. This thesis is a study and evaluation of the implementation and results of Futurum.kom?s first campaign "Låna dig rik" at a public library. The analysis is based on the following issues:? What goals does the library have with the "Låna dig rik"-campaign.? What is the feedback from the staff's experience of the users in terms of needs and demands?? In which way does the library choose to implement the marketing campaign and what role do the users have in this process?? What is the internal performance of the library's marketing campaign, what was the experience of the staff of the campaign?? What is the external result of the library's marketing campaign?The method is based on a case study of a single library, with a series of interviews and document analysis of written and electronic documents.

This master thesis concerns the subject of a reference service named Book-a-librarian. The service makes it possible for the library-user to indulge in a subject with the help of a librarian after having made an appointment in advance. The main purpose of this thesis is to study the function of it. The methods used are a mix of literature and empirical studies to be able to comprehend and explain the practical nature of the service as well as placing the service in a theoretical framework. The empirical study is performed by a questionnaire, where librarians working with the service are asked to participate.

An alternate reality game, often abbreviated as ARG, is a mix between a game and a crossmedia interactive story using mainly the Internet as a platform. As the way of communicating and accessing information has changed radically over thepast decade so has the way the public libraries operate to reach the citizens. In thesetimes the demands of what a public library should be and offer the visitors havechanged. One should have the option to access the digital public library at any givenhour of the day, from anywhere in the world and at least have the same possibilities ofinformation as the visitors at the non-digital, "real" library.In this Master's thesis we will analyze and discuss the condition of the Swedish digitalpublic library of today, 2006, and the forward thinking work with the issues ofdevelopment in this matter. In order to do this we set out to examine the attitudetowards the public digital library among the staff at a small number of Swedish publiclibraries and their supporting institution, the county library. Moreover, the attitudesdefined have been compared to the actual status of the services and medias at the publiclibrary websites.In conclusion, we have detected a certain standardization of what the digital publiclibrary consists of today.

Therefore we found it interesting to investigate how companies within the e-commerce business handle the transition towards customer relationship management.
Ett folkbibliotek och dess användare: användares uppfattningar av service relaterade till verksamhetsintentioner
The aim of this MA thesis is to examine how users regard and receive the services offered by a specific public library. We also examine what the conception of service means to the users and how they perceive this service being offered by the library. We look upon if and to what extent the service conception depends on contact with the library staff. The methods used are qualitative interviews and analyses of documents directing the library activities. The public library we have examined in this respect is the public library of Västerås.
