Den här uppsatsen berör hur utomeuropeiska invandrare upplever att deras etableringsaktiviteter skapar hinder och möjligheter för inträde på arbetsmarknaden, samt hur detta har berört deras identitetsskapande i det svenska samhället. I uppsatsen har jag använt mig av intervjuer och inspirerats av metoden grundad teori för att få fram och analysera empirin. Intervjuerna har utförts personligen, och mina frågeställningar i uppsatsen har varit: Vad innebär etableringsaktiviteterna för informanterna, Hur upplever de att etableringsaktiviteterna har främjat respektive motverkat deras möjlighet att få arbete och Hur upplever informanterna att detta har berört deras identitetsskapande?.

In this two-years masters thesis the information practices of former interns are examined in relation to a possible lack of certain kinds of information in the prison environment. The essay is positioned in the research field of information practices which means its looking at all kinds of information, formal and informal. Since the essay is in the field of information practices it means the focus lies in how information is taught whithin contexts and groups. Information is not looked at solely as an individual process but is seen as a collective experience.The method of the essay is that of the qualitative research interview. Besides taking an interest in information practices i investigate whether access of information in prisons could be improved and whether the library organisations could be a part of those improvements.The result of my research shows that information in the prison coming from the correctional institution is not perceived as well functioning.

In this paper corruption in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been studied to investigate to what extent corruption inhibits Bosnia and Herzegovina?s possibilities of integrating with EU.The overarching research question is how occurrence of various types and forms of corruption affect the possibilities of Bosnia and Herzegovina to fulfill the criteria negotiated by the EU. In order to undertake this exploration the study uses typologies to identify and categorize the various forms of corruption that exist in Bosnia and Herzegovina and theories about the impact of these forms of corruption. After that these forms of corruption are analyzed in relation to their impact on the various political and economic criteria that are set for integration and membership in EU, such as independent justice system and the acceleration of the privatization process.The results show that corruption in Bosnia and Herzegovina represents a major obstacle to several of the criteria set by the EU and thereby integration with EU. Even though that these priorities are told to be set with realistic goals these priorities will be difficult to fulfill with such widespread corruption as in Bosnia and Herzegovina today..

Bakgrund: Utvecklingsländernas obligationsmarknad har under de senaste fem åren genererat en avkastning i nivå med aktier. Detta faktum kombinerat bristen på tidigare forskning inom detta område har gjort det intressant att undersöka utvecklingsländernas obligationsmarknad närmare. Syfte: Syftet är att analysera effektiviteten på utvecklingsländernas obligationsmarknad. Genomförande: Med hjälp av informationskvoten och Treynorkvoten undersöks om någon av de tre fonderna i urvalet genererat systematisk överavkastning jämfört med marknadsindexet JP Morgan Emerging Market Constrained Index. Ett signifikanstest på 5 % görs för att utreda om avkastningen är skild från 0.

Banks are an important institution for the economy of a society. During the later years the world of banking has changed. Several new actors have entered the market and taken over traditional bankservices as well as new ones. The way of conducting banking has changed with the event of new technology. One of the banks customer segments, the students have also been under a change. With a changed market companies have to adapt to the new rules of the game.

The purpose of this paper is to compare two different portfolio strategies consisting of insider transactions and stock recommendations and examine whether they posses any information advantage.  The portfolios are balanced once every three-, six- and twelve- months in the period of 2007-2009. Our results show a pattern for these investment strategies. The portfolio consisting of insider transactions generates a positive return in equity in a negative market environment and the opposite reaction in a positive environment. The result for the portfolio consisting of stock recommendations show a positive return of equity in positive environment and the opposite effect in negative environment. The pattern that has been observed can be classified as an anomaly.

Background: During extreme market conditions like the period during fall 2008 the discussion of what affects company value becomes apparent. The capital structure is the relation between borrowed capital and equity in a company´s financing mix. What impact changes in capital structure have on company value is a widely debated subject within the theory of finance. If a relationship between capital structure and company value exists the implication is that an optimal capital structure where company value is maximized also exists.Aim: The aim of the thesis is to study whether a certain relationship between capital structure and company value exists among selected stocks and companies listed on Stockholmsbörsens OMXS30.Implementation: With aim to fulfill the purpose of the thesis regression analysis has been performed among chosen stocks and companies. The empirical results eventuating from this have been analyzed from the view of elected relevant theory.Completion and results: We find that during normal market conditions a positive relationship between debt ratio and enterprise value (EV) can be established.

 Den svenska integrationspolitikens generella omfördelning av resurser har bytt skepnad och vi ser idag en allt mer selektiv och riktad politik. Statliga insatser för att främja integration blir allt mer geografiskt riktade och detta kan få effekten att olika former av problematik förknippas med de områden som insatserna riktas mot istället för att ses som ett separat fenomen. Forskning inom området har visat att samhället genom olika maktmedel definierar ?svenska? värderingar och förhållningssätt som norm och att integration har blivit en fråga om att anpassa ?de andra? till denna norm. Ytterligare forskning behövs inom området och  det behövs en större klarhet i vilken typ av problem som integrationspolitiken vill finna en lösning på.

Svensk hälso- och sjukvård innehåller i dagsläget ett stort antal informationssystem som inte kommunicerar med varandra digitalt. Detta minskar patientsäkerheten och leder till stora effektivitetsförluster inom verksamheten. Ett aktuellt ämne på både lokal, regional och nationell nivå är därför hur dessa system kan integreras. I denna uppsats presenterar vi ett ramverk för utvärdering av de integrationsförslag som olika IS-leverantörer erbjuder hälso- och sjukvårdsorganisationer. Ramverket har vi själva utformat och för att exemplifiera dess användningsområden, har vi applicerat det på ett avgränsat problemområde hos analysobjektet, universitetssjukhuset i Lund (USiL).

I artiklar skrivs det om att ny teknik såsom Web services kan medföra t ex förändringar i processer och sättet att överföra och hantera data. Web services anses av många vara en lösning på integrationsproblem som uppstår när data finns i olika system som inte kommunicerar med varandra. Vi som systemvetare anser att vår studie bidrar till att belysa andra aspekter än de tekniska när det gäller Web services. Vi har studerat organisatoriska konsekvenser av införandet av Web services. Studien kan inte fastställa att Web services är en bra teknik generellt för att integrera system.

We have seen a revolution in the area of communication on a worldwide scale. We begin talking about terms as globalisation, integration and deregulation of the financial market. Companies have been tax planning for decades, the questions is if Internet has made an increase of companies than uses tax planning and which roll Internet plays. It is hard to really pinpoint all the effects of the Internet because of the relatively new area of research. This thesis will take various factors under study such as globalisation, development of the offshore industry and the fight against harmful taxation by the OECD and other organisations in order to describe the effects of Internet.

The furniture retail industry in Sweden has gone trough large changes during the last decades. Today the industry is tough and in the maturity stage where few new companies enter, especially if they do not have a unique offer. The furniture companies have become larger and fewer, the changes have lead to difficulties for smaller and medium sized companies to grow and be profitable.Our purpose is to analyse, evaluate and compare three smaller companies in Stockholm with the intention to find what kind of marketing strategies they are using to survive on the Swedish market. First we interviewed the three companies to see what they do to survive on the market, then we asked 100 persons to fill in a questionnaire to see if they had the same opinion as the companies described.With help from theories we prepared questions which laid the foundation to the empirical part of the essay.The result from this study shows that the three companies differ from each other when it comes to using relationship marketing and placing the customer in the centre. All of them are aware of the importance of doing so, but because of different limits and possibilities they can not fully adjust everything to the customer.

Boendesegregationen i våra svenska städer är ett problem som ökar. Den fysiska planeringen är en faktor som påverkar hur väl stadsdelar är fysiskt integrerade med varandra. Olika planeringsideal leder till skilda typer av fysiska strukturer, och i stadsbyggnadsprojekt finns idag visioner om att koppla samman fysiskt och socialt segregerade stadsdelar med den nya strukturen. Målet är att bidra till en ökad integration, såväl fysiskt som socialt. Syftet med arbetet har varit att studera två sådana aktuella projekt, H+ i Helsingborg och Hyllie i Malmö, för att se vilka fysiska strukturer och arbetssätt som förordas och vad de ser för möjligheter och begränsningar att genomföra visionerna.

This paper tests the information signalling hypothesis on a sample of firms making open market stock repurchases. Using an earnings-based valuation model, we find that a majority of repurchasing firms are undervalued relative to their economic value. This result is consistent with previous academic studies, which claim that undervaluation is the prevalent factor explaining the observed abnormal return following the announcement of a repurchase program. We do not, however, find any evidence that the repurchase is consciously made by management to provide the market with new information. .

Integration är en diskussion som är högt på agendan i Sverige. Mitt syfte har med denna uppsats varit att ta reda på hur ensamkommande flyktingbarn får chans att integreras i Bromölla kommun. Mina frågeställningar har varit: I vilken grad har integrationsmålen uppnåtts? Hur kan implementeringsresultatet förklaras? På vilka sätt skulle man kunna utveckla verksamheten till det bättre i Bromölla? Jag har valt att använda mig av implementeringsteori och har mätt hur integrationsmålen implementerats i verkligheten. Implementeringsteorin jag har valt att använda är ?uppifrån och ner?.
