När företag ska besluta var man ska etablera sin verksamhet finns det en rad olika lokaliseringsfaktorer som spelar in: bland annat närhet till marknader och andra företag, platsens kostnad och infrastruktur, tillgång till rätt arbetskraft, statlig påverkan samt företagsklimat och livskvalitet. Angered, som är Göteborgs mest segregerade stadsdel, har en väldigt hög arbetslöshet och få arbetstillfällen inom den privata sektorn. För arbetssökande i segregerade bostadsområden är närhet till arbetsmarknaden viktigt för chanserna till att få jobb och Angered behöver därmed göras mer attraktivt för företag.Den här studiens syfte var att undersöka hinder och drivkrafter för lokalisering av arbetstillfällen inom den privata sektorn i Göteborgs segregerade stadsdel Angered. Uppsatsens frågeställningar var:1. Vilka är de främsta orsakerna bakom bristen på arbetstillfällen inom den privata sektorn lokaliserade i Angered?2.

`When one does not have what one wants, one must want what one has´: `I have had, you see, to resort more and more to very small, almost invisible pleasures, little extras....You´ve no idea how great one becomes with these little details, it´s incredible how one grows. ´ The aim of this master thesis is to find words and expressions that can accompany city phenomenas as well as the people wandering through the space which is defiened as city. Through this tentative search a new term was found namely Urban Settler Marks. This term started a journey and an attempt to theoretisize why people have a need for various spaces to put their Urban Settlers Marks onto. My focus was drawn to electrical boxes in the urban environment because of their ambigious nature.

I september 2013 samlades runt 200 thailändska bärplockare i protest på en grusparkering i Umeå. Trots att de plockat bär sex dagar i veckan under nästan två månader hade bärplockarna inte fått någon lön. För att finansiera resan till Sverige hade många av dem tagit stora lån i hemlandet och om de återvände de till Thailand utan pengar att kunna betala lånen med så skulle deras mark och bostäder beslagtas. Pressen blev så stor att en av de strejkande bärplockarna hängde sig inne på en toalett.Det är inte första gången bärplockare blir lurade på sina löner. Varje år kommer tusentals fattiga risbönder från Thailand till de svenska bärskogarna i tron om att tjäna pengar som motsvarar flera årslöner i deras hemland.

The purpose of this study is to create an understanding of how a company selling commodity products works to create interest and loyalty among customers and how to stand out relative to competition. Based upon present theories within marketing communication, a comparison is made with actual market information to understand how well the theory can predict reality. The study is applied to the dairy industry with the company Valio as the bench mark. In total four persons have been interviewed, marketing manager and category manager at Valio Sweden, and also project manager and art director from their advertising agency. The qualitative data obtained has been compared to predications given by theory.

This thesis emphasizes the importance of understanding the employees? attitude and motivation towards their workplace at a company that works in the advertising business. An example company; thcommunication agency PS Communication in Stockholm, was used for the empirical part to investigate the purpose. The topic is interesting since the company works in a fast changing environment with new techniques,tools and professionals and the company is also going through an expansion that include many new recruitments.The purpose in this thesis is as follows: ?the purpose of this study is to elucidate the fate of attitude and motivation of employees in relation to the workplace during business expansion, if performance is reduced and competition increases.?The analysis and results shows that attitudes andmotivation among the employees in the workplace has deteriorated, the employees agree that it is due to expansion the company is undergoing.

This study aims to unravel if it should be accepted to use natural resources in the Sami reindeer grazing area for the green transition. Mines, wind parks, and other infrastructure in the reindeer grazing area create problems for the reindeers which makes it difficult for the Sami to proceed with this traditional practice. While the Sami people have right to practice these customs the minerals and land which in it lies could be crucial to successfully go through the green transition in Sweden and the European Union as well. To answer the question: Should it be acceptable to use natural resources in the Sami reindeer grazing area to accomplish the green transition? a reflective equilibrium will be applied to the principles of egalitarianism and collective rights.

The purpose of this Masters Thesis is to explore the impact of spare time reading fiction on the identity of teenage boys, and what it really means to them. To investigate this, we have focused our investigation on how teenage boys relate to and what they search for in their reading. The data collection is based on 8 interviews with boys in the age between 14 and 15 and on literature on the subject. The theoretical framework focuses on the reading theories of Joseph A. Appleyard, the transactional theory of Louise M.

Music not only fun but also necessary. This paper investigates how young people describe their relationship to music. The young people - students - in this study are coming from two different districts of Malmö: One with a population with mainly ethnical Swedish background and the other with a multicultural population. The research question is how we can describe young people's relationship to music on the one hand from the social theories which are presented and on the other hand from own experience as a music teacher. Group interviews are used to get the young people's own descriptions.

Framöver kan vi vänta oss ett varmare och mer nederbördsrikt klimat i Sverige. Detta beror till stor del på den globala uppvärmningen, som huvudsakligen orsakas av den ökade mängden växthusgaser i atmosfären. Högre temperaturer bidrar bland annat till att havsisarna smälter snabbare vilket höjer havsnivån. Ett varmare och fuktigare klimat kommer att på olika sätt påverka mark, byggnader och infrastruktur. En höjd havsnivå leder till att kustområden i högre grad drabbas av översvämningar och erosion.

Textens syfte är att peka på ett antal av de förutsättningar som har möjliggjort det moderna japanska enfamiljshusets särart. Fokus ligger på det typiska i centrala Tokyos stadsbild som är en viktig faktor för den allmänna utvecklingen. Stor inflyttning och ett svagt regelverk för stadsplanering har skapat unika småhusområden. Den täta stadsstrukturen har skapat många speciella lösningar även i bebyggelse utan arkitektonisk ambition, mycket av det man ser i publicerade arkitekturprojekt är vanliga inslag i den standardbetonade bebyggelsen. Ekonomi är också en viktig faktor.

Theoretically, when an organization grows large it has to formalize its structure and exercise control by more regulations. The negative side effect might in turn be demotivated employees (machine bureaucracy). However, practice seems to contradict theory. Therefore, we decided to investigate how a large company, in this case Microsoft, succeeds in creating motivation despite some machine bureaucratic tendencies. The essential findings are that the employees feel motivated by the fact that they are allowed freedom with responsibility.

This essay deals with the subject of communication through Facebook. In this survey we studied 100 youths from Karlstad and their communication habits and behavior patterns on Facebook. The social network site Facebook has since its start in 2004 made a mark in modern communication. Today in 2010 the site has more than 500 million users. This paper wants to study what happens to other types of communication.

Detta examensarbete behandlar området stålfiberarmerad betongplatta. Istället för att använda en traditionellt armerad betongplatta undersöks möjligheten att använda sig av den alternativa tekniken stålfiberarmerad betong. Stålfiberarmerad betong består av vanlig betong med iblandning av stålfibrer vilket ger den unika egenskaper.Rapporten utgörs av en jämförelse mellan en traditionellt armerad betongplatta gentemot en stålfiberarmerad betongplatta. I jämförelsen används ett referensobjekt som är den nya Konsumbutiken i Sunne där traditionell grundläggning med nätarmering använts. Detta alternativ jämförs med en teoretisk framtagen konstruktionslösning där fiberbetong används.

During the last decade of the twentieth century both ?manhood? and gender studies seems to have undergone changes. With the field of masculinity and the critical studies of men, added as ?subsections? of broader gender studies, new knowledge has been produced to better grasp the production of gender and power relations of patriarchy. During the same decade as the ?metrosexual? first appeared of the urban stage, acts of homophobia and attitudes towards ?manhood? seems to have changed.
