Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) is currently used more and more within construction design and planning as well as construction as a streamlining tool aiming to improve communication and decrease the number of construction defects. VDC is constantly developing, but what comes next? The augmented reality (AR) technology is currently not used within construction in Sweden but should be considered as the next step in line regarding the integration of reality and digital information. Using this technology design can become reality even before it?s actually built.The purpose of this study has been to carry out an inventory of the existing AR technology and its shortcomings, and also to identify possible applications within the construction phase.

This report summarizes a Bachelor Degree Project in Integrated Product Development, carried out during the fall 2007 till spring 2008 by three students at the Product Design Engineering Program at the University of Skövde. The project was performed in cooperation with Lundbergs Möbler AB in Tibro. Lundbergs wants to start selling furniture to the public eldercare. The purpose of this project was to adjust one of their chairs. The project layout was to first make a preliminary investigation where the market, competitors? assortment and the purchasing process are studied.

Frågeställning: Finns det någon effekt av handelshinder och korruption på de central- och sydamerikanska ländernas tillväxt?Teori: De teorier som används i undersökningen är Solows tillväxtmodell, Ricardo modellen, Heckscher-Ohlin modellen, teorier kring handelshinder och infant-industry-argumentet.Metod: De studieobjekt som undersökts är länder i Central- och Sydamerika och hur dessa länders tillväxttakt sett ut mellan åren 2000 och 2007. Det tillvägagångssätt som valts för att genomföra denna undersökning är, att utifrån de data som samlats in, genomföra en regressionsanalys för att se om de variablerna, som tagits fram för undersökningen, har någon påverkan på tillväxten hos studieobjekten. Utifrån regressionsanalysen genomförs en jämförelse med de teorier som finns i undersökningens teoriavsnitt. Detta för att se om de fenomen som framkommer i regressionsanalysen kan förklaras av de teorier som finns inom ämnet.

En av Parocs produkter är sandwichpanel som är ett byggmaterial som kan variera i storlek och tjocklek och är funktionellt och smidigt. Uppdraget var att designa ett beslag för panelsystem som minst 50% av Paroc Panel Systems kunder skulle föredra framför de gamla, främst med avseende på estetiken, men även baserat på lätthet att montera och kostnad av beslaget. Projektet skedde i samverkan med företaget Paroc Panel System AB och ur förundersökningen framkom att utseende, monteringsmöjligheter, egenskaper såsom materials livslängd och hållfasthet och totalkostnad var viktiga krav som ställdes på produkten. Lösningsförslag med fokus på flera viktiga aspekter togs fram och kombinerades till olika koncept med hjälp av en så kallad morfologisk tabell. En konceptutvecklingsfas ingick där hållfasthetsberäkningar och materialval var avgörande.

Marknadsaktiviteter vid produktlansering är ett samarbete med Haglöfs Scandinavia AB. Våren 2010 utfördes ett samarbetade med Haglöfs då ett underlag för utökat produktsortiment inom konfektion togs fram. På uppdrag av Haglöfs ska ett förslag framställas på hur en lansering ska kunna se ut om juniorkollektionen introduceras på den svenska marknaden. Hur fungerar det med produktlanseringens strategiska och taktiska lanseringsbeslut och vilka marknadsföringskanaler är lämpliga vid en produktlansering inom outdoorbranschen.Rapporten behandlar hur dagens företag inom outdoorbranschen i Sverige fullgör sina marknadsaktiviteter vid en produktlansering. Strategiska och taktiska lanseringsbeslut illustreras samt utvalda marknadsföringskanaler skildras.En lanseringsstrategi beskriver de marknadsföringsbeslut som är nödvändiga för att presentera en ny produkt till respektive målgrupp och börja generera en inkomst i form av försäljning av den nya produkten.

Organic layers and broilers will according to (EEG) no 2092/91 be fed 100 % organic feeds in year 2012, which is expected to present problems associated with the specific protein requirements of poultry. This document aims at describing the feedstuffs that possibly may constitute a part of the solution to these problems. Peas, field beans, naked oats, canola, hempseed and sunflower come out as interesting feedstuffs. Biproducts from the milling and dairy industry together with marine protein supplements may be brought to the fore, provided that the demand for organic products will rise further..

There are several objects of age whose provenance and history has disappeared with time. The purpose of this thesis is to find out which analyzing methods that gives results and how the different methods can be combined and /or established in each other. The investigations centers around an embroidery, belonging to Tämta church, with unknown origin, use and age. The embroidery is long and narrow with applications in the form of dragons and eagles on a ground of velvet cloth. The dragons and eagles are covered with metal threads.

The idea for this project was initiated together with one of the leaders in the forest, paper and packaging industry. To get through an A/R CDM process the company is exposed to the risk of failing the process or that the overall costs will exceed the benefits of the project. This would delete the incentives to invest in GHG removals compared to purchasing emission allowances on the carbon market. The questions that have been raised and needs clarification in the thesis are the following:? From a company perspective, what are the incentives for implementing Forest Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects?? What is a likely financial outcome of a reforestation CDM project on degraded land in the Guangxi province of the Peoples Republic of China?? When does an investment like this break even with the cost of buying market based carbon emission allowances? The objective of this master thesis is to carry out a research about the incentives for forest, paper and packaging companies to invest in reforestation through the clean development mechanism.

This thesis work has been carried out at the consultant company Pöyry Sweden AB in Norrköping, whom performs the task for E.ON heating Sweden AB, Händelöverket in Norrköping. The report shows methods to manufacture slurry consisting of fly ash and water. The slurry shall be pumped into several former oil storage rock shelters that E.ON has put into operation for the specific purpose. The ash mixture also develops hydrogen gas in contact with water.The work has aimed to produce different suggestions of methods and equipment that can be used for the objective. Mixing method and security issues were in centre while working with the suggestions.
