I den här rapporten redogör jag för framställandet av en 3d-visualiserad interaktiv monteringsanvisning till företaget Leine & Linde i Strängnäs (här efter 3d-anvisning). Företaget tillverkar pulsgivare som används till att mäta rotationshastighet och vinklar på axlar i rörelse.Tidigare var det möjligt för företaget att ge direktsupport till kunderna via telefon, men eftersom företaget expanderar så ökar även antalet supportärenden. Därför var behovet stort av tydliga monteringsanvisningar för att avlasta de ingenjörer som stod för supporten.Jag har med hjälp av intervjuer undersökt vilka moment i monteringen som är kritiska för produktens funktion samt har hög felprocent hos företagets kunder. Därefter har jag tillverkat en 3d visualiserad interaktiv monteringsanvisning som utprovats i jämförelse med företagets befintliga pappersManual.Arbetet ska inte ses som en generell undersökning av 3d-anvisningar, utan som specifik för montering av Leine & Lindes pulsgivare.Resultatet pekar på en viss tidsvinst samt en ökad formförståelse och positiv upplevelse för målgruppen..

Vår målsättning med detta examensarbete var att ta fram en nödbogseringsManual till skolfartyget Calmare Nyckel. Denna skulle vara helt i enlighet med de regler och riktlinjer som fanns tillgängliga och underlätta beslutsfattandet för besättningen i situationer som kräver nödbogsering. Projektbeställare var Bengt Karlsson, befälhavare på Calmare Nyckel, och efter ett inledande möte sattes arbetet i gång då i form av ett projektarbete inom ramen för examensarbete. Vi har baserat Manualen på i första hand aktuell lagstiftning och riktlinjer men också på andra fartygs nödbogseringsManualer vi bedömde som bra.Arbetet förflöt enligt utsatt tidsplan och det slutgiltiga resultatet blev väl utfört enligt oss och projektbeställaren.Calmare Nyckel är nu utrustad med en fullt fungerande nödbogseringsManual som vi med säkerhet kan säga uppfyller alla tillämpliga krav som ställs på en sådan. Vår förhoppning är att Manualen aldrig kommer att behöva användas i skarpt läge, men däremot regelbundet fungera som underlag i övnings- och utbildningssyfte..

Background: Men that have gone through treatment for prostate cancer may lose their sexuality as result of treatment. The sexual ability might symbolize manliness, despite age and sexual activities. Aim: The aim of the literature study was to describe; Influence on sexuality and the daily life for men with prostatecancer and their experience of informationneeds. Method: The material for the literature study was searched through databases; 13 scientific articles were selected and two articles through Manual search, all 15 articles were examined. Result: Five categories were found in the result of the literature study; physical dimension, emotional/mental dimension, social/practical dimension and informationneeds.

Todays board game Manuals have many shortcomings. One of them is that they are not always adapted to the game's target audience.Adapting the language and shape of a game Manual for the the target group children, can save time for both parents and teachers, and give the children a chance to conquer the game by themselves. In addition, playing board games can lead to children developing other important properties such as problem solving and independence.This study found that the game Manuals inconsistency, tone and the way they adress the reader makes it difficult for children to grasp the content. Many game Manuals do not speak directly to the reader, and often describes gameplay in a passive way, which has been shown by this study.This study has resulted in 12 guidelines for writing game Manuals for children. In addition, they have been tested with a sample study.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a safe and painless diagnostic method. The patient may become concerned, suffer from anxiety and experience the examination as unpleasant. Detailed information and a good treatment can reduce anxiety and distress for the patient. The purpose of this study was to illuminate the patient?s experiences in connection to MRI, and to describe the patients needs for information and treatment.

St. Jude Medical Inc is one of the worlds leading companies in the medical technology area with cardiovascular devices as its specialty.Manufacturing implantable medical devices such as Pace Maker Electrodes requires complex design, safe processes and well trained operators. User friendly manufacturing operations are a necessity.Lately there?s been an increase of the manufacturing volume which also increased the number of operators. More operators need to be trained and cross-trained.

The aim of this study was to determine the self-perceived learning needs in patients with Coronary Heart Disease (CHD). CHD is the leading cause of death worldwide. Poor compliance is one of the causes of rehospitalisation. Patients suffering from CHD need education in order to manage their disease and prevent readmission to hospital. As hospital stays diminish the time available for patient education is limited.

Science has shown that siblings to children with a disability are affected by the family situation. The siblings often let their own needs and requests come secondary to their family members. This study illustrates how different professionals, who keep in contact with families with a disabled child, works with its siblings. The purpose with this study was to see how professionals, working as administrators, counselors at the habilitation and kin supporters in the region of Kalmar, include siblings while working with the families. Representatives from the professionals have been interviewed with a semi structured interview Manual.The result showed that professionals have various opinions how siblings are affected by the family situation.

In the automatic Manual transmission system, Opticruise, the choice of gear is based on several parameters such as road incline, driving resistance and vehicle mass. Many different mass estimations are made during driving. A final vehicle mass is then used to determine the current gear. Construction vehicles are often not equipped with air suspension and can therefore not estimate the vehicle mass when standing still. If that sort of vehicle is reloaded while standing still an incorrect mass estimation will be used and as an effect of that also a wrong gear.

In this study I investigated whether the strength in the Manual response for emotional and neutral stimulus search arrays can explain some of the difference in reaction times (RT:s) for emotional stimuli, or not. Earlier, perceptual, cognitive and attentional processes has mostly been used to explain the variance in RT:s. Thirtythree individuals were asked to, as fast as possible, detect a target picture among distractor pictures in 3 rows x 4 columns arranged search arrays. The pictures were categorized in fear relevant animals (snake, spider) and neutral animals (cat). The results showed, more correct responses for cat target.

Aggressivitet och utagerande beteenden hos barn är ett växande problem med konsekvenser både på individ och på samhällsnivå. Det finns idag evidensbaserade behandlingsmetoder som förebygger och behandlar barns utagerande beteendeproblem men forskningen visar att få barn får tillgång till dem. Föräldraträning är den metod som har starkast forskningsstöd. Studiens syfte är att med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer ge en bild av behandlares erfarenhet och upplevelse av ?De otroliga åren?, ett Manualbaserat föräldraträningsprogram inom Barn och ungdomspsykiatrin samt att beskriva hur det tillämpats.

Real-time systems are required to answer to external stimuli within a specified time-period. For this to be possible, the systems behaviour must be predictable. The use of active databases in real-time systems introduces unpredictability in the system, e.g. due to their use of active rules. The behaviour in active databases is usually specified in ECA-rules.

Syftet med mitt examensarbete var att undersöka vilka faktorer som gör teknisk kommunikation tillgänglig och lättförståelig. Det skulle leda fram till en läsvärd lathund för användare av ett nytt CMS-system. Arbetet har genomförts i samarbete med Telia, som är inne i ett förändringsarbete gällande sina informationssystem. De ska införa ett nytt så kallat PIM-system (Product Information Management), som ska innefatta ovan nämnda CMS-system och kommer innebära ett förändrat arbetssätt och nya arbetsuppgifter för min berörda målgrupp. För att lösa problemet har jag tagit hjälp av en fokusgrupp och gjort en webbenkät. Jag har ställt mig frågor om vad teknisk kommunikation kan bidra med vid framtagning av ett instruerande material, samt i vilka syften användarna kan tänkas läsa den typen av material. Med hjälp av teorier och ovanstående metoder producerade jag ett förslag på hur lathunden kan se ut. Jag testade också förslaget på målgruppen för att få deras åsikter, i syfte att förbättra slutresultatet..

This is a graduate work at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, The Department of Urban and Rural Development, Ultuna. The purpose of this paper has been to find out and describe principles for designing parks that offers good recreational and aesthetical values and require little amount of carbon dioxide emissions during their maintenance. The purpose has also been to see if it's possible to use city wastewater in some extent to assure the plants water supply and to find other means to make it less necessary to use purified water for watering. Recently made studies as well as older ones show how important green areas are in dense city structures both from a health and a climate perspective. Trees and other plants adsorbs different forms of air pollution and can also lower the temperature in the surrounding area through their transpiration.

The profit a company makes is dependant of its employees which means that their competence is important for the company to perform well. The middle manager has a central position in the organization and is expected to take on different roles. This probably puts a lot of demands on the middle managers and their competence. We want to contribute with a comprehension of how learning, competence and needs for competence can look at a middle management level. Furthermore we also want to find out what kind of strategy for competence development the middle managers want the company to use so their competence development can be facilitated.
