In this paper I will attempt to recreate a prehistoric landscape surrounding the rock carving site of Släbro at Nyköping in Södermanlands län by using GIS. The main focus area is the river valley at Släbro and the six panels with rock carvings that have been dated to the Bronze Age. I?ll attempt to shed light on a long lost landscape. The shore line displacement have been extensive in this area a reconstruction will visualize the relationship between the panels, and their relationship to the surrounding landscape.

The aim of this qualitative deep interview study was to gain deeper understanding of single immigrant mothers´life situation. Grounded Theory was the method of analysis. Repeated interviews with five immigrant women from different parts of the world showed that women were in need of wider and deeper social networks in order to reconstruct their identities. This is a master thesis about the reconstruction of Bibliotheca Alexandrina. With a hermeutical approach utilizing literature review and interviews it examines how the library have come into existence, and what the Swedish efforts have been to help the project along. Using a mainly structural perspective, the major factors examined are world politics, Egyptian society and library values. This report presents a thesis project conducted by two students at Mälardalens högskola. The project covers 15 points in industrial design and was conducted during April to June 2014. Vid ombyggnad av Östermalms Saluhall är ett förslag att tilläggsisolera taket, då ställs det kulturhistoriska värdet av byggnaden mot ombyggnadskraven i BBR. Det kan därför uppstå tvister vid ombyggnaden av saluhallen, då det är svårt att samtidigt uppfylla nybyggnads- och ombyggnadskrav på de delar som ska ändras.De delar på saluhallen som studerats är två takdetaljer och de projekteras och analyseras byggtekniskt, kulturvärdesmässigt och lagmässigt. Det kulturhistoriska värdet hotas vid ombyggnation, men samtidigt vill Stockholms stad energieffektivisera byggnaden så gott det går. Studien handlar därför om hur man på bästa sätt ska kunna energieffektivisera byggnaden och följa de ombyggnationskrav som finns utan att förvanska byggnaden..

This thesis work has been performed on request by SWT (Scandinavia WeldTech AB). SWT manufactures, develop and sell ready to assemble building systems for concrete rafter beam applications. The beams in this system consist of a u-beam that is welded to a flange. To be able to fill the beams with concrete there is holes in the beams top end. The holes are made in a ?punching machine?.  These holes are cut out and the remaining steel piece is bent down in the u-beam.
