Talet om informationskompetens: Implikationer för relationen mellan bibliotekarier och användare
The purpose of this Master thesis is to investigate how the relation between users and librarians is affected by higher education librarians? talk about information literacy. The thesis uses Norman Fairclough?s critical discourse analysis in analysing four articles written by Swedish higher education librarians and in answering how information literacy, users and librarians are constituted. The analysis indicate that the questions have no distinct answers, there are discrepancies between, as well as within the texts.

Studies conducted on event marketing have mainly focused on larger events. Managerial implications, marketing techniques, and theories in the field have hence dominantly addressed events of larger nature. Event marketing however is a growing phenomenon in the marketing mix. Brands are using event marketing to a greater extent. Brands are increasingly using small events as a marketing tool in order to create brand awareness and brand image; this goes for both small brands and large brands.

This is a thesis in Personal- och Arbetslivsprogrammet at Dalarna University with thepurpose of evaluating an education initiative in Borlänge kommun. The educationCoaching Leadership is an initiative for the managers in the organization to exercisegood leadership and the education also serves as an incentive for managers. Eightbusiness managers and one from the HR staff have completed the training. Out of thetotal 9 participants in the training, six of them took part in this evaluation. Based on thethesis aim and questions we wanted to explore participants' attitudes to the education,and what skills and abilities they have acquired on the basis of educational goals andcontent.

The aim for this bachelor thesis was to form a deeper understanding of librarians? occupation and professional identity and therefore we have examined library students? and educators? view on professional identity, competence and career possibilities. Our take on this was that there seems to be little interest in managerial positions and we asked ourselves why this is and if we could see a change in interest in the librarians to become. As our theoretical framework, we chose Andrew Abbott?s, 'Theory of Profession'.
Att utmana framtiden - en enkel match? Betydelsefulla faktorer i en omställningsprocess ur jobbcoachers perspektiv :
Syftet med studien är att belysa upplevelsen av vilka faktorer som är av betydelse i en omställningsprocess ur jobbcoachers perspektiv. För att få ett svar på det användes kvalitativ metod vilka bestod av semistrukturerade djupintervjuer. Fyra jobbcoacher på fyra olika omställningsföretag har intervjuats. Deras arbete innebär att skapa målbilder, få syn på viktiga egenskaper och att identifiera hinder för att med hjälp av olika metoder och strategier komma runt dessa. Resultatet visade att marknadsföring, CV och intervjuträning inte bara var ett komplement utan bidrog dessutom till att deltagarnas självförtroende stärktes.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the perceptions of leadership and gender issues circulat- ing in Womentor leadership development programme, and to have a discussion around what conse- quences they may have on participants' careers. To answer the question I have used a qualitative approach in the form of 10 interviews and non-participant observations. The theories in this study are based on gender and leadership issues.The problem which forms the basis of this study is the underrepresentation of women at senior posi- tions. A basic assumption in this study is that notions of gender and leadership affect the individual's ability to act. The circulating concepts identified in Womentor are: The leader who wants to be a manager, The leader who gets things done, The communicative leader, Change leader, The motiva- tional leader and The leader as a role model.
Flås, svett och inkongruens - En studie om effekterna av träning och tematisk inkongruens på annonser
Previous research about contextual effects on advertising has mainly focused on the editorial context, while advertisements' broader context has been overlooked. This paper aims to take a broader perspective on advertisement context. Its purpose is to get an understanding on how physical exercise influence the effectiveness of print advertisements, and furthermore to look at the effects of thematic incongruence between ad and the physical environment. We hypothesize that physical exercise increase ad effectiveness through affective priming and that thematic incongruence is beneficial for ads' effectiveness, especially after training when awareness about the environment is higher. A 2×2 experiment was conducted in a gym, where each respondent was exposed to either an incongruent or less incongruent ad, before or after physical exercise.
Sju lärares uppfattningar om fenomenet coaching inom skolans utvecklingssamtal.
Den här studien handlar om inomhusmiljön på tre olika förskolor. Vi har lagt fokus på hur miljön påverkar barnens lek. Vi har dessutom intervjuat pedagoger för att ta reda på vad de har för tankar kring inomhusmiljön på förskolan. De stora viktiga frågorna i det här arbetet är:
?Hur påverkas barns lek av förskolans inomhusmiljö?? och ?Vad tänker pedagogerna om deras miljö på förskolan??
Genom att observera barnen hur de använder miljön på förskolan har vi fått fram material som vi senare har analyserat.
Internpriser i praktiken: - en fallstudie
This paper presents a study of the Swedish public service television broadcaster - Sveriges Televisions (SVT) transfer pricing model. The aim of the thesis is to examine the motives for using transfer pricing from a theoretical perspective and if SVT?s transfer pricing model fulfils these motives. We will also examine any potential managerial problems the existing transfer-pricing model might cause and discuss how these could be solved. We have in our study found that the main motive for using transfer pricing within SVT is to allocate internal resources as efficiently as possible.
En bra Chef går hem : - en undersökning av Landstinget i Värmlands chefsbrev
Internal communication is very important for the success of an organization. The county council Landstinget i Värmland is a large organization with many managers on different positions. Every one of these managers gets an email every week, with the message that a new manager letter, called Chef, is published on the intranet. With my paper I am examining what the managers think of this letter, how they use it and if managers on different positions differ from each other in opinions about and use of the letter. I want to find out if there is a need of Chef as a part of the internal communication of Landstinget i Värmland.To answer these questions, I have chosen a quantitative method in the form of a questionnaire which is send to all the receivers of the manager letter.
Coaching i företag och organisationer : en intervjustudie
Undersökningens syftet har varit att studera hur politiker uttalar i den politiska debatt om elever som går ur grundskolan utan att nå målen i matematik. Om det är så att allt fler eleverna går ur grundskolan utan att nå målen i matematik: Vad beror det i så fall på? Vad har politikerna i så fall för åtgärder emot detta? Hur står sig svenska elevers kunskaper i jämförelse med elever i andra länder?Studien är utformad som en kvalitativt inriktad textanalys med hermeneutiska inslag. Det empiriska materialet utgörs av riksdagens protokoll från sex debatter som innehåller 147 sidor debatter och interpellationer mellan åren 2000 till 2008.Diagrammen i detta arbete visar elever som inte uppnått målen dvs. erhållit betyget IG i matematik mellan åren 2003 till 2007.

This study was aimed to investigate why team sport coaches use group training as a part in their build-up training. Issues covered in this study are: "What motives have coaches in team sports that use group exercise as part of the build-up training?" and "What are the positive and negative aspects experienced trainers of using group exercise as part of build-up training in team sports?". It was a qualitative study, seven interviews were made with team sport coaches that has used group training as a type of exercise in their built-up training in collaboration with Friskvårdskompaniet. The results showed that the reasons why group exercise were used was different from coach to coach for example one motive was to increase the players physically ability.

Sweden's position in the UEFA rankings is a modest 23 rd place, behind nations such as Austria, Switzerland and Belarus. The economic climate in Sweden is often highlighted as a strong factor. When we started our study we agreed that this could be a major contributing factor to this relatively modest rank, but believed that there were also other factors that played a big role.
Inkluderingens bryderier : En kvalitativ studie om fotbollsföreningars arbete med inkludering av barn och ungdomar med funktionsnedsättning
The aim of this study was to understand how three selected football associations in three counties in Sweden work to include children and adolescents with disability in the age of 7-20 in their organization. For this study we have used a qualitative method. The data have been collected through using semi-structured interviews with coaches and representatives from the board. When analyzing the data, we used Charles Tilly's theory Durable Inequality and research within the area of inclusion within sports, the significance of activities and the inequality within sports. The conclusions of the study showed that there was a stated lack of knowledge in the associations when it comes to their work with young people with disabilities and also in their work with the policies.

In today´s labour market, men and women are segregated, both vertically and horizontally. Exceptions to the rule of gender segregation are few. There is, however, one managerial group where women and men are equal in numbers: school principals. In a short period of time, the distribution in terms of sex among principals in Sweden has changed dramatically. How does gender equality in numbers affect gender equality in a qualitative sense? That is the focus of this thesis.
