In order to get full understanding of management culture and practice one must understand the underlying factors. This thesis examines the philosophical foundations for management in the People's Republic of China with its primary focus on the period 1949 -2012. China with its strong economic development in the recent decades is becoming an increasingly important actor in the world economy. Interaction between China and the rest of the word is considerable and currently Chinese firms increasingly expand outside China. This gives further importance especially for westerners to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese views and customs with regard to management.

Problem: Today Frigoscandia Equipment Europe, FSEE, is not sure how their CRM-system, MSMS, is used along with other solutions at the different regions throughout Europe. The company is interested in a usage evaluation describing by who and how the system is used. FSEE is also concerned about the users opinions of future development and improvements.Management is also concerned about how MSMS would support the After Market and gain full leverage of the IT investments. MSMS is today only used to a limited extent in a few of the After Market departments, and FSEE is interested in what an overall usage would mean in terms of improved internal communication, customer focus and information management. The following questions will therefore be investigated in this study:· How, by whom and where is MSMS used within FSEE?s After Market and Sales divisions today?· What does the After Market division at FSEE gain from using MSMS?· What has to be done to improve the usage of MSMS at FSEE? Dessa har inte samma förutsättningar som stora företag att bedriva Cash Management på det mest effektiva sättet eftersom deras förutsättningar är annorlunda. Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att se vilka faktorer som påverkar effektiviteten i små företags Cash Management och hur dessa faktorer påverkar effektiviteten. Today, the management concept of lean has stretched far from its origins in the Japanese automobile industry. When reaching the Swedish restaurant industry, the conditions for a successful implementation of lean change as a result of the high employee turnover and the significant amount of part-time employees characteristic for the industry. Combined with a high-end service profile, these workforce characteristics seem inconsistent with some of the basic principles of lean. By conducting a case study, this thesis aims to investigate the effects of a variable workforce on the enablers for a successful implementation of lean in a high-end service industry. Using a theoretical framework consisting of enablers for an implementation of lean in services, the study finds that the variable workforce inhibits an implementation of lean by complicating the effects of traditional training, as well as the possibility of understanding the lean concept at all levels of the organization.

Många städer vill utveckla vattenkontakt, tillgängliggöra och öka den urbana vattenkvaliteten. Gatukontorets programenhet i Malmö stad beslutade 2012 att ett program för stadens kanal skulle tas fram. Jag blev involverad i detta arbete och beslutade mig för att även skriva mitt examensarbete om detta ämne. Målet med uppsatsen är tredelat; att ta fram ett program för Malmös kanal, att beskriva och reflektera över programmet, samt att föra en bredare diskussion kring urbant vatten. De metoder jag använt mig av för att färdigställa arbetet har varit inventering, analys, intervjuer, arkiv- och kartstudier, litteraturstudier, workshop samt en form av introspektiv efterreflektion. Resultatet har blivit ett program för utveckling av Malmös kanalrum, samt en beskrivning och reflektion av programskrivandet, dess kontext och arbetsprocess samt en reflektion kring urbant vatten. Frågan om stadens relation till vattnet är ytterst aktuell, dels för att vattnets och och de angränsande stadsrummens värde som rekreationsområden och sociala arenor ökat markant, men även för de utmaningar vi står inför med klimatförändringar och en höjd havsnivå. The aim of this study was to comprehend and explain the idea and function of Case Management and its diffusion in Swedish municipalities. More specifically its aim was to investigate factors for the diffusion of Case Management and its differences to similar professional roles. The study was based on interviews with four managers at various levels and two case managers representing two municipalities in Sweden. Five themes were identified that were especially interesting when discussing the function of Case Management, its differences to similar professional roles and its diffusion in Swedish municipalities. The themes were: shortcomings in the welfare system, the functions of Case Management, differences to similar professional roles, descriptions of Case Management and factors for the diffusion.

This thesis work involves a quantitative study concerning secondary school students' understanding of older Swedish words in the lyrics in the Lucia song written by Elmfors way back in 1919th. The text has some old words and phrases that today's high school students do not really understand. The study includes surveys of two different classes in high school, a theoretical and a practical program. In some cases students can understand words by the context, but previous research shows results in general weakness in students' existing vocabulary. According to previous research, this is due, inter alia, that young people read and write less today.The results of all students are totally 38%, where the theoretical program has a slightly higher performance.

Forskning har påvisat ett samband mellan personer med neuropsykiatriska funktionshinder och kriminalitet. Aggression Replacement Training (ART) som förebyggande arbete har visat sig vara effektivt i syfte att reducera brottslighet. Tillämpning av metoden är dock inte vanlig avseende personer med neuropsykiatriska funktionshinder varför det inte finns mycket forsk-ning på området.Syftet var att utifrån systemteori med fokus på Bronfenbrenners socialekologiska modell samt kognitiva behavioristiska teorier och social inlärningsteori teori beskriva och studera den ART- träning som ingår i grundsärskolans undervisning på Engelbrektskolan i Örebro kom-mun. Utifrån att en ny målgrupp med särskilda behov har identifierats är det angeläget att erhålla information om metodens eventuella effektivitet.Författarna har valt att basera det empiriska materialet på kvalitativa intervjuer. We have done a qualitative and quantitative study about math problems on second­ary school students. The study is based on the diagnosis, treatment and training of teachers, about students who have math difficulties. The aim of this work is to obtain teachers ?perceptions about students? diagnosis, treatment / improvement and continuing education for students who have math difficulties. By having interviewed various teachers through surveys we have received answers to their concerns about the diagnosis, treatment and the importance of continuous training of teachers on students? mathematics difficulties.

Mastitis in dairy cows is an emerging and challenging disease in the tropics, including India. Nation-wide reports suggest that the incidence of clinical mastitis varies from 3.94% to 23.25%, and for subclinical mastitis from 15.78% to 81.60%. In Assam, a northeastern province of India, dairy is an essential part of the mixed farming system that exists in the state, but the milk yield is far below domestic standards. In 2009-2010, International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and local associates started to develop a training program for local farmers in Assam, in order to enhance the informal bovine dairy sector in and around Guwahati, India. The project continued until mid-2013.
