Syftet med detta arbete är att utvärdera innehållshanteringssystemet WordPress och sättet man utvecklar ytterligare funktionalitet för detta system. Arbetet berör utformning av administreringsverktyg för godkännande av inlägg samt ett verktyg för att hantera de företag som ska kunna länkas in under olika sidor på en portal vid namn ImageTalk. ImageTalk är slutprodukten, och är en webbplats för publicering av digital media på internet.WordPress är skrivet i PHP och använder sig av css, javascript och databasen mySQL. Eftersom detta innehållshanteringssystem är vida använt kändes det både relevant och intressant att utvärdera, särskilt genom att tillföra ny funktionalitet.Slutsatsen av detta arbete är att WordPress är ett mycket kompetent innehållshanteringssystem som har mycket goda förutsättningar för att byggas ut och förändras på de flesta sätt. Däremot är det svårt att ge en ordentlig struktur i den ytterligare funktionalitet man tillför, eftersom den ibland blir för utspridd eller ibland inte tillräckligt skingrad..

The point-of-sale system we base this thesis on is Extenda Retail. Our case study is performed on Ica Kvantum in Bromölla, which implemented Extenda Retail about two years ago. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to figure out what important factors there are to consider, in usability aspects, when developing point-of-sale systems, with focus on the cashier. We have made a litterature study about pain in animals. In this studie we have brought up areas like sign of pains in animals, pain relief and the care perspective. Pain is perceived when body tissue is damaged or nearly damaged by stimuli. Nociceptors, which are receptors placed at nerve endings, responds to a provocation of pain and transmit an impulse along the nerve to the brain via the spinal cord. Pain is urgent or chronic, and can be divided into nociceptive pain (somatic pain and visceral pain) and neuropathic pain. Different pain mechanisms can arise, such as referred pain, which is when signals of pain are referred to other parts of the body.

The thesis aims to understand how learning processes are affected when an organization split into two separate organizations. The study is designed as a single case, covering a new government agency?s takeover of a core activity from another agency and the use of a purchase-provider split between the agencies, providing the new agency with IT-services. The findings revealed a difference in productive system and knowledge types between core- and IT-activities. The core activity was found to be dominated by explicit knowledge while the IT-activity seemed to be dominated by a mix of explicit and tacit knowledge.

The goal of this master thesis project was to develop computer models of some plausiblepretreatment techniques and to assess the potential benefits/costs of using pretreatment andanaerobic digestion for waste management of organic waste from a system perspective. Forthis purpose a computer program called ORWARE has been used. ORWARE (organic wasteresearch) is a program for making life cycle assessments of waste management. As the mainpart of the project work the ORWARE system has been provided with three new models ofpretreatment techniques. The additions consist of: One model of pretreatment with ultrasound,one model of thermal hydrolysis and one model of a screw press.

By using univariate analysis, tobit and logit regressions, this thesis investigates determinants of asset writedowns. After controlling for variables indicating reductions in asset values, the results show that changes in senior management are significant in explaining the writedown decision and magnitude, which is in line with previous research. The explanatory power of changes in senior management has not increased with the transition to IFRS in 2005. No evidence is found supporting the hypothesis that the explanatory power of management incentives is higher for more discretionary types of asset writedowns..
