There are mainly two ways to transform the design of an existing park. You could either make a replanning of the park, an act that changes the design and the plant material in one swoop. Or you could use the management to change the expression of the park. To be able to develop the parks with the help of management, some form of goal is needed, that can make the management of the park strive towards an expression for the whole park as well as its individual parts. Among the documented goals, for individual parks and park management, which exist in the municipalities today, there seems to be a weak link between the all-embracing goals and the management that is carried out in the parks.

Patientövervakningssystem (eng., Patient data management systems) måste hantera olika datakällor som patientmonitorer, ventilatorer och pumpar. Målet med detta arbete var att utveckla ett generellt och underhållsbart medicinskt protokoll samt ett databassystem för att hantera patientdata från olika medicintekniska instrument inom intensivvården.Ett prototypsystem med databas och experimentellt kommunikationsprotokoll skapades och utvärderades tekniskt mot övervakningsmonitorn Philips MP30. Systemet utvecklades i programmeringsspråket C# och använder sig av en MySQL-databas.Studien visar att det är möjligt att skapa ett protokoll som hanterar olika medicinska datakällor. Rapporten beskriver det framtagna protokollet, datastrukturer, arkitektur samt förekommande relaterade kommunikationsstandarder som används inom sjukvården..

Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka i vilken utsträckning svenska tillverkningsföretag använder verklighetsrelaterad intern redovisning som metod att minska kortsiktigheten inom organisationen samt om denna anpassning också leder till de önskvärda resultaten. Detta har gjorts genom en kvalitativ fallstudie utförd på fyra svenska tillverkningsföretag. Den främsta informationskällan var primärdata i form av skriftliga och muntliga intervjuer. De undersökta företagen var NIBE Industrier AB, SCA Packaging Sweden AB, Trelleborg Engineered Systems Group AB och Vin & Sprit AB. Kontaktpersonerna var högt uppsatta chefer eller controllers.

Alla skulle ha en webbsida och anledningen till detta var ofta att konkurrenten hade en eller att man bara ville synas. Idag finns det ett antal så kallade Content Management System utvecklade för att hantera information på Internet, intranet och extranet. Det gemensamma för dessa system är att användarna skall kunna uppdatera, vidareutveckla och administrera lösningen utan någon teknisk kompetens. Syftet med den här uppsatsen var att undersöka om ett Content Management System effektiviserar uppdateringen av information, med hjälp av kategorier inom användbarhet.

In inhalation anesthesia life-support systems are used to provide gases to the patient and to monitor important parameters. These systems are used in dynamic and stressful situations where the information-load on the operators often is significant. This thesis presents a design concept of an anesthetic system. The design goal has been to keep the information-load on the operator low with the objective to minimize confusion and error.A number of contextual inquiries were made in the operating room during surgery at four hospitals in Sweden. The goal was to understand the actual use-situations when anesthetic systems are employed.

This essay was written at Södertörn University during the spring semester of 2010, in the field of Business Administration, and more precisely within management and organization. The essay is based on a case study of the management of the staff working at the commuter train stations in Stockholm. The study consists of a number of interviews with the management staff and with the personnel working at the stations, where the aim of the study is to describe how management works within ISS Trafficare AB and what the personnel working at the stations think of it. ISS Trafficare AB is the entrepreneur who runs the commuter train stations in Stockholm by an agreement met with Stockholmståg KB.The study is based on information from the interviews with the personnel and other material from ISS Trafficare AB. Research on the area of management have been used to put data into perspective and to further deepen our analysis and conclusions from the case.The essay shows that the management has tried to implement several changes on the organization in order to provide more service to the travelers.

Bakgrund:Poängen med entreprenörskap är enligt många att skapa en lönsamhet. Det är lönsamheten som driver företagarna framåt. För att skapa en lönsamhet krävs kunskap inom ekonomistyrningsområdet och dess verktyg som kan användas för att skapa en lönsamhet.I november 2012 fanns det enligt Statistiska Centralbyrån, SCB (2012) cirka 7500 stycken medel ? och stora företag, samtidigt som småföretagen uppgick till cirka 35 000 stycken. Delar av dagens litteratur riktar sig främst mot större företag, därför vill denna studie istället rikta sig mot småföretag.

In non-profit organizations, surplus of the organization goes back to the organization's members. We have noted that Hyresgästföreningen initiated a change in 2005 when the organization merged its local membership registries to a national registry. There are few studies explaining how non-profit organizations are using management in an organizational change. What happens with the business management at an organizational change that is similar to the change in Hyresgästföreningen? The aim of this thesis is to explore how the governance of a nonprofit organization is changing at an organizational change.

Ledning och övriga anställdas upplevelser av attraktivitet på arbetsplatsen ?Mora of Sweden? looks at how management and employees at the Swedish manufacturing company ?Mora of Sweden? perceive an ideal attractive company and what factors that determine one, as well as how these two groups perceive the situation at their own company. The main purpose of the essay is to compare the management?s point of view with that of the rest of the employee respondents? perspective. While doing so the author concludes that there are several factors such as how the employees feel about their physical working environment as well as their salary, of which the management lacks understanding or perceive differently and that there needs to be more of an open dialogue between the management and the employees..

Tidigare forskning har visat på att konkurrensen kring talangfulla medarbetare aldrig förr varithårdare och att ha strategier för att behålla dessa blir därför viktigt. En strategi som syftar till att görajust detta är talent management. Men hur arbetar man med detta och vilka föreställningar kringfenomenet finns? Vilka faktorer kan finnas som hindrar och/eller möjliggör arbetet med talentmanagement? För att ta reda på detta har det i studien valts att göra en fallstudie där data samlats ingenom semistrukturerade intervjuer. Det framkommer i studien att talent management upplevspositivt då det ger erkänsla och uppskattning.

The purpose of this literature review was to investigate how the rearing systems influence the behaviour of dairy calves. Calves are social animals that form groups within the herd where play and social licking between calves are important social activities. Suckling is a complex behaviour and essential for the calf's survival. In the modern rearing systems the calf is usually separated from its mother soon after birth. Calves are then kept in individual pens, group pens or, more rarely, with a foster cow.

The purpose of the study is to describe how financial management functions within the individual and family care services in three mid-sized municipalities.27 interviews with managers and key personnel at three management levels in Örebro, Växjö and Jönkö-ping were conducted using a descriptive approach and qualitative method. In addition governing docu-ments and delineations in regards to these municipalities have been studied.The combined findings show that all municipalities have separate visions and control systems/models for their municipality with focus on management by objectives and politically determined goals, which in-clude economical measurements and requirements for the departments. Moreover, are also tracking sys-tems, which are described as following up on the results thru indicators and/or measurable goals. The municipalities utilize framework financials and budget processing on a high level and its timings appears similar in each municipality.Additionally the study has shown that there is a desire and aspiration to implement central economic goals in all three municipalities. The interviewees describe how they use their leadership to anchor, follow up and create participation in economic objectives and results thru instrumental and institutional leadership.

An important task for project managers in multi-project environments is to effectively choose the right people to the project team. For organizations, it means being able to prioritize and plan human resources among the various projects running in parallel. The purpose of this paper is to describe how a project manager in multi-project environments looks at the allocation of people in their projects. We did our research through literature reviews and interviews with seven project managers.The research shows that the studied organizations highlight both the expertise and the personal factors in an election. They do not use any specific personality test to identify their staff.

The Private Equity industry has over the past years been booming and major external environmental changes have made the industry transform rapidly. Increased competition between Private Equity firms is one of the reasons why the industry has been and is being forced to focus more on addition of value through increased operational management. Consequently, the focus of value addition is by some said to be transferred away from deal making and financial skills, and into active operative management. This case study investigates how the portfolio management, and more specifically the measuring and management of performance, is carried out in a number of leading Swedish Private Equity funds with investments in the biotech sector. The biotech sector is characterized by extensive research and development, and many biotech companies often lack income and other measurable financial parameters in the initial phase.

Syfte: Syftet med vår magisteruppsats är att utreda hur involverade parter idag inom dagligvarubranschen i Sverige upplever Category Management. Syftet är även att belysa implikationer samt potentialer inom ramen för Category Management inom den svenska dagligvarubranschen. Metod: Vi har arbetat utifrån kvalitativ metod och genomfört både personliga intervjuer samt telefonintervjuer. Vårt empiriska material har därefter varit underlag vid den teoretiska kopplingen. Empiri: Vi har utfört personliga intervjuer med involverade aktörer inom den svenska dagligvarubranschen.
