Tidigare ombesörjde organisationen karriär och karriärutveckling för den anställde och karriärkontraktet byggde på livslånga anställningar. Det nya karriärkontraktet bygger istället på en så kallad proteisk karriär (Hall, 1996), vilket utmärks av att individen ser sig själv som ansvarig för och drivande av sin karriär, att egna värderingar får styra samt att psykologisk utveckling är främsta mål. Studiens frågeställning var att undersöka om personlighetsfaktorer i termer av self-efficacy, självkänsla, locus of control samt neuroticism kan predicera proteiska karriärattityder. I studien användes kvantitativ metod och en enkätundersökning genomfördes på studenter. Korrelationsberäkningar visade att samliga personlighetsfaktorer samt proteiska karriärattityder var korrelerade.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur rekryteringen till arbete av studenter från Sport Management-programmet vid Högskolan Dalarna har gått till, samt vilka personliga egenskaper och meriter som har varit avgörande för att erhålla anställning inom den idrottsrelaterade organisationen. Uppsatsens syfte är att förklara Yield Management. Detta gör författarna genom att kvalitativt studera och analysera arbetsgången på två hotell. Det ena hotellet har en uttalad Yield Management strategi emedan det andra hotellet har en Customer Relationship Management strategi. SELF CONTROL är ett undersökande examensarbete i textildesign. Med en textil hantverksmetod undersöker jag mötet mellan kontroll, tidsåtgång och material. Detta med utgångspunkt i en feministisk diskurs. Jag ser kontroll som något som exkluderar, censurerar och begränsar möjliga uttryck inom textilt hantverk på samma sätt som kvinnokroppen kontrolleras i ett patriarkat. Jag har använt mig utav en performativ och repetitiv metod som aktivt har gått ut på att bryta mot föreställningar om hur hantverket ska utföras.

Today there are many applications of digital terrain models (DTM) and the requirements of low uncertainty increases. Most of the DTM are produced with Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), terrestrial laser scanning (TLS), airborne laser scanning (ALS) and total stations. Guidelines for the preparation and verification of DTM are found in Swedish Standards Institute ? Technical Specifications (SIS-TS) 21144:2007 and SIS-TS 21145:2007. In this study, company reconstructions and the financing of current accounts hereof are analysed from a perspective of insolvency law. The purpose with a company reconstruction is to maintain the operations of the company despite the insolvency of the mandator. In contrast to bankruptcy proceedings the person liable for payment stays in charge of the operations. However, this person is not allowed to sign for new loans, issue pledges of security for these loans or in any other way enter new obligations without the approval from the temporary company reconstructor. Besides providing for a successful reconstruction the reconstructor also has to consider the interests of creditors, especially to maintain the preferential order of the creditor's claims, keeping them unchanged in case of a formal bankruptcy.

AbstractThis is a qualitative study on what motivates personnel to apply for middle management positions within the Värmland County Police Department. This study also looks at whether or not there are differences in motivation between men and women in regards to applying for middle management positions.The study has been conducted through in-depth interviews with 17 employees of the Police Department. The material collected was analysed using the Empirical Phenomenological Method (EPP). 29 categories were generated which were then divided into four themes.The result showed that motivation can be achieved by having a more structured middle management roll whereby, for example, there are clear guidelines on the responsibility and authority you have. Support and encouragement were also named as motivating factors.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explain which factors that affects Swedish listed companies choice of placement for the corporate governance report when the regulation gives different options.Methodology: The chosen research philosophy is positive, research strategy is deductive and methodology is quantitative.Theoretical Perspectives: As support for the dependent (placement) and independent factors agency theory, positive accounting theory, accounting choice, legitimacy-, stakeholder-, and institutional theory are used.                  Empirical foundation:The sample consists of 249 companies. This examine illustrates the section heads' and caregiving staffs' perceptions of the influence of New Public Management (NPM) in public retirement homes in Malmö. A central theme is to investigate if the main features of New Public Management are noticeable and if that's the case, are the consequences an advantage or disadvantage? The main features of New Public Management in this examine are: decentralization, competition, internal market, cost- conscious, management by objectives with a focus on results and costumer focus. To reach answers to the questions above, a quantitative and a qualitative approach has been chosen. The study is based on 41 questionnaires with enrolled nurses/nurse's assistants and four semi-structured interviews with section heads of retirement homes. Four different retirement homes have been participated in this study.
