In 2006 there was a change in LMA (1994:37) that clarified the division of responsibility be-tween the Migration Board and the municipalities, concerning unaccompanied children. The social services should now be utmost responsible for the housing and care of these children, to assure that they gain the same standards and rights as all other children. The aim of this essay has been to examine how the division of responsibility has influenced the work of the social services and how they interpret their responsibility for the unaccompanied children. How do the social services investigate and make decisions concerning these children? Do these chil-dren have the same rights as other children? To answer these questions a legal study was made, followed by qualitative research interviews with four social services that receive unac-companied children.

The purpose of this study is to describe if and how a seasonal based company named SkiStar, learns through the exchange of experience and knowledge. We have analyzed gathered qualitative and empirical data to explore this subject. We conducted three semi-structured group interviews with employees from the SkiStarshop division. They described their routines and procedures in SkiStarshop. The collected data was processed and analyzed through our theoretical framework.

I detta 10-poÀngsarbete gÄr jag igenom hur min egenhÀndigt producerade kvadratrotsalgoritm fungerar praktiskt och teoretiskt. Med denna algoritm kan man för hand rÀkna ut kvadratrötter som innehÄller 50-60 vÀrdesiffror. Med de tidigare kÀnda algoritmerna för kvadratrötter kan man rÀkna ut 5-6 vÀrdesiffror. Min algoritm fungerar inte pÄ samma sÀtt som de tidigare anvÀnda kvadratrotsalgoritmerna men den Àr lika korrekt. Stor tyngdvikt i arbetet har dÀrför lagts pÄ att visa pÄ att det finns flera olika korrekta algoritmer för vÄra vanliga rÀknesÀtt.

The Division of Language and Communication at Chalmers uses a web-based language tool, named EngOnline, to teach English grammar. The language tool suffers from some shortcomings. These include stability problems and an outdated interface but, above all, there is no documentation. Because of the lack of documentation and EngOnline?s need of maintenance, the Division of Language and Communication has decided to replace the language tool with a new and well documented one.The new language tool was developed using an agile work process; detailed documentation was replaced with more efficient communication.

Det Àr inte alltid sÄ lÀtt som förÀlder att förstÄ de algoritmer (rÀkneuppstÀllningar) som barnen anvÀnder i skolan idag. Hur förÀldrarna kan fÄ hjÀlp med detta Àr en del av denna studie som genomförts med förÀldrar och elever i en femteklass. Syftet med studien har varit att studera vilka olika algoritmer förÀldrarna och eleverna i denna klass anvÀnder. För att fÄ en uppfattning om förÀldrarnas matematikundervisning har lÀroplaner frÄn 1969 och framÄt studerats med fokus pÄ algoritmrÀkning. NÄgra olika algoritmer i de fyra rÀknesÀtten som har behandlats i skolan genom tiderna presenteras, liksom en övergripande historik kring algoritmernas ursprung.

Vi har undersökt vilka rÀknefÀrdigheter en grupp elever i Ärskurs 9 pÄ en skola i VÀxjö har i addition, subtraktion, multiplikation och division. Vi har avgrÀnsat studien till att behandla de naturliga talen och decimaltalen. De metoder, kunskaper och de svÄrigheter som ÄskÄdliggjorts har vi redovisat. Vi har Àven tagit reda pÄ elevernas begreppsförstÄelse kring de fyra rÀknesÀtten. VÄrt resultat bygger pÄ en kvalitativ metod som bestÄr av ett test och tvÄ kompletterande intervjuer.

This thesis discusses and analyses the existence of two different perspectives, a social and a technical one, in Library and Information Science (LIS). Most of the time the division between these perspectives seems to result in research only using either of them. This can be a problem when studying complex phenomena. We therefore see a need for a metatheory that unites the social and the technical. By presenting and analysing all doctoral dissertations published at the Swedish School of Library and Information Science (SSLIS) 1993-2005, we try to detect and critically discuss the dichotomy between the two perspectives.

Syftet med denna uppsats Àr att utifrÄn Försvarsmaktens ledarskapsmodell om Det utvecklandeledarskapet undersöka till vilken grad modellen tillÀmpas vid flygvapnets divisioner. Delar av frÄgeformulÀret Utvecklande Ledarskap Ledarbedömning anvÀndes för att kartlÀgga den genomsnittlige ledarstilen.

Professional wrestling has been around for over a hundred years. Its origin can be traced back to immigrants in the 1800ÂŽs whos collar and elbow style of wrestling became popular. Soon it found its ways into the carnivals traveling the country and there it became the wrestling that we know today. Two men, screaming and bragging how good and strong they are, trying to convince its audience that it shall pay to see the fight.The purpose of this essay is to look at two of wrestling?s biggest names in Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair from a rhetorical standpoint and see what they do to convince their audience to buy their matches.

The aim of the study is to examine different statements for and against regional identity in the research of the new organisation of the Swedish society. The aim is also to observe in what extend the Swedish committee of responsibility has had an awareness of the identity politics in its effort to improve the presumptions for the new, successful regional division.The questions are:1. In which ways do the opinions of the participant of the work of the committee of responsibility, coincide and differ when it comes to the importance of the regional identity in the case of a new regional division?2. How has the committee of responsibility worked on development of consciousness and mobilisation for the creation of the regional identity in its final report?A method called the argumentation analysis was used in this study.

Undersökningar har visat att mÄnga elever har bristfÀlliga kunskaper i brÄkrÀkning nÀr de lÀmnar grundskolan. Eleverna har sÀrskilt stora problem med att kunna utföra korrekta multiplikationer och divisioner med brÄk inblandat. Med bakgrund av detta har jag intresserat mig för hur lÀroböckerna hanterar dessa frÄgor. Jag har dÀrför genomfört en lÀromedelsanalys av tvÄ olika lÀroboksserier som Àr aktuella i undervisningen pÄ tvÄ högstadieskolor i Karlstad.Dessa tvÄ lÀroboksserier Àr Matte Direkt Är 7-9 och Matematikboken XYZ. Jag har beskrivit och analyserat de relevanta avsnitten ur instrumentella och relationella aspekter, samt Àven gjort en jÀmförelse med Margareta Löwings förslag pÄ metod att arbeta med brÄk.
