Diabetes är en av nutidens största folksjukdomar vilket innebär en utmaning för samhället och sjukvården. I vägledning av patienter med diabetes bör distriktssköterskan motivera den enskilde till eget ansvar, hantering av sjukdomen och prioritera de psykosociala aspekterna. Aktivt deltagande i egenvård för patienter med diabetes typ 2 har uppmärksammats som en betydelsefull faktor för att åstadkomma effektiv vård och behandling. Hur distriktssköterskor upplever utmaningen att främja egenvård för patienter med diabetes typ 2 är en intressant forskningsfråga. Syftet med denna studie var att belysa distriktssköterskors upplevelser av att främja egenvård hos patienter med diabetes typ 2.

Bakgrund: Beteendeförändringar som exempelvis ökad aggression, agitation och vandring är vanliga vid demens. Hur en demenssjuk person blir bemött har stor påverkan på hans eller hennes funktionsnivå. Oförmåga att arbeta personcentrerat kan leda till försämrad funktion och ökat lidande för patienter med demenssjukdom. Syfte: Belysa personcentrerad vård av patienter med demenssjukdom utifrån frågeställningarna ?vad är utmärkande för personcentrerad vård av patienter med demenssjukdom enligt vårdpersonalen?? och ?vilka effekter har personcentrerad vård för patienter med demenssjukdom??. Metod: Litteraturstudie baserad på kvantitativa och kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar som valdes ut enligt bestämda inklusions- och exklusionskriterier. Innehåll i artiklarna som svarade på syftet analyserades och kategoriserades. Resultat: Kärnan i personcentrerad vård ansågs vara att befrämja bevarande av personlighet och ett vanligt liv.

I och med medias utveckling och förankring i vårt samhälle har pedagoger i dagens skola inte längre monopol på kunskapsförmedling. Detta examensarbete undersöker hur pedagoger talar om hur de arbetar med media i undervisningen. Undersökningen bygger på 14 stycken kvalitativa intervjuer med pedagoger och elever ifrån två olika skolor i Malmö. Skolorna är belägna i två olika stadsdelar varav en av dem är präglad av mångkulturalitet och den andra är mer traditionell svenskt homogen. Empirin analyseras utifrån Vygotskijs sociokulturella perspektiv samt tidigare forskning som bedrivits kring medias roll i skolan.

The purpose of this essay, ?Now they are chasing paper-less - A qualitative discourse analysis of mass medias depiction of the Reva-project and the work of the police?, is to analyze how mass media portrays the Reva-project and polices work with the project. The basis for the essay will be eight selected newspapers. The Reva-project implies collaboration between the Police, the Swedish Migration board and the Swedish Prison and Probation Service within the border police. The aim of the project is to enhance the efficiency and the execution of the border police work, in accordance with the government?s target.

Motivation is a key factor in sustaining a healthy and active lifestyle, and technology has afforded us new methods for attaining information concerning exercise and health. This paper aims to examine how social media can motivate individuals to obtain and maintain an active and healthy lifestyle, as well as identify which particular social media channels are preferred for this purpose. Both quantitative and qualitative methods were used as data collection in this research. The results of this report show that images and text shared on social media, as well as the communication therein, can function as motivation for individuals to commence and maintain a regular physical activity and health regimen. Additionally, an individual?s sharing of their own training and health routine is enough to motivate the person in question to sustain their training and health procedure.

Bakgrund: Sjuksköterskor kan möta patienter med ätstörningar på olika avdelningar. Sjuksköterskor blir ofta överraskade av det stora omvårdnadsbehov som patienterna har. Syfte: Syftet är att belysa sjuksköterskans upplevelser av vården av patienter med ätstörningar. Metod: En litteraturstudie och granskning av sju vetenskapliga artiklar har genomförts, materialet analyserades med inspiration av Graneheims och Lundmans analysmetod. Resultat: Sjuksköterskor tycker inte att de har tillräcklig kunskap och utbildning för att vårda patienter med ätstörningar.

 Introduction and research question: In the global media field, global expansion has become more common and is a way for media companies to reach out to a broader audience. Both advantages and disadvantages come with a global expansion and there are several cultural differences that have to be considered. This thesis will deal with the cultural differences and discuss how a Swedish media company efficiently goes about establishing in Vietnam. This leads us to this thesis' research question: How does a Swedish media company succeed in Vietnam? Purpose: This thesis' purpose is to find out what media companies do to successfully acclimate to the Vietnamese culture and the important aspects of the cultural differences to consider.Delimitation: In order to present a thesis with greater depth and acquire a deeper understanding, the study is limited to examine Swedish media companies and what intercultural aspects are important to consider when establishing in Vietnam. Method: The research we have done is based on interviews, which we thought could give us the accurate information and a good base to stand on.

SAMMANFATTNINGBakgrund: Tidigare forskning visar att vårdstudenter har stor nytta av att få delta i patientarbete i sin utbildning och fortsatta yrkeskarriär. Patienter i hälso- och sjukvård har generellt en positiv attityd till studentmedverkan. Dock är forskningen om vilken uppfattning patienter inom psykiatrisk vård har till studentmedverkan mycket begränsad.Syfte: Att undersöka hur patienter inom psykiatrisk vård upplever studenters medverkan i vårdenMetod: Kvantitativ studie, en enkätstudie. Patienter från tre verksamhetsområden på ett universitetsjukhus i Mellansverige tillfrågades om att svara på enkätfrågor.Resultat: Resultatet blev 655 besvarade enkäter. Av respondenterna uppgav 95 % att de ansåg att det var viktigt att studenter får träffa patienter under sin utbildning.

Amyotrofisk lateralskleros är en sjukdom som angriper det motoriska nervsystemet. Sjukdomen är obotlig och patienten avlider till slut på grund av förlamning. Allt fler patienter väljer att vårdas i sina egna hem och många gånger deltar närstående i vården av patienten. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa vilka förväntningar patienter med ALS och deras närstående hade på vård i livets slutskede, i hemmet. Studien inriktades på patienter med amyotrofisk lateralskleros och deras närstående.

To log on to social media has become an obvious part of people's everyday routine. Pictures, videos, opinions, and thoughts are posted and read by people's social networks worldwide. In doing so, the present study chose to examine whether what is posted on social media, as well as what the individuals are exposed to on social media can be related to their motivation and self-esteem. By letting 117 adolescents aged 16-19 answer a questionnaire regarding which social media they are active on, how often they are active there, and what they post on those social medias. By also letting them evaluate how they see themselves, if they compare themselves with others and how motivated they are to physical activity and healthy eating habits, we could see that to those who post pictures, and are exposed to images represent exercise / health on social media have higher self-esteem and driven more by internal motivation to engage physical activity than those who do not.
