The purpose of my essay is on one hand to research and evaluate the measures that one intermediate school in Sweden, uses in order to prevent bullying and stop it in the event that one pupil happens to get bullied or harassed. In other words, I would like to show how that school is capable of creating a safe environment. Qualitative research is used to obtain these findings.On the other hand, I also wish to examine what pupils at the school think about these measures and how they perceive the attitudes of the school?s teachers and management regarding the prevention of bullying. In order to acquire this information quantitative research is used.The conclusions that I draw after conducting my research are as follows:1- Regarding the ?Anti ? bullying Performance Plan?, my essay shows that school teachers and management actively work in order to maintain a safe environment and as a result bullying is successfully prevented the school.

Att upprätthålla en god affärsetik är viktigt för många företag, eftersom det skapar ett för- troende hos intressenter i olika led. För att inta en stark ställning på marknaden krävs även att företagen är konkurrenskraftiga. Ökad konkurrenskraft kan fås genom konkurrentbe- vakning, då information inhämtas från konkurrenter. Dock saknas det tydliga regler huruvida informationsutbyte omfattas av artikel 101.1 FEUF, som reglerar konkurrensbe- gränsande företeelser på marknaden.Kommissionen har meddelat att artikel 101.1 FEUF bör omfatta informationsutbyte, ef- tersom det kan påverka ett företags självständighet att ta beslut. Detta har även fastslagits av domstolen och artikeln måste därför anses omfatta informationsutbyte.

The purpose of this study was to, from the teacher's point of view; discover pupils with reading difficulties in connection with text assignments in mathematics, the teacher's support for these students, if difficulties coincide and whether it's the mathematics teacher's responsibility to make sure pupils with reading difficulties develop their reading ability. The study is based on a qualitative method and five semistructured interviews with mathematics teachers and one language support teacher.The result shows there is a strong connection between the pupils' reading ability and their ability to manage text assignments in mathematics. A weak reading ability affects the pupil in a negative way when solving text assignments in mathematics due to wrong reading technique if the teacher is absent. It is not unusual that reading difficulties and mathematics difficulties coincide. The teacher's most important role in the learning process is to teach the pupils understanding about the reading technique in different ways and to give the pupils opportunity to get spoken texts.

The use of internet is growing rapidly and many people choose to spend a lot of their time in the virtual world. This is the reason why we believe that it is important for companies to consider using internet as a tool to reach their customers. Today many companies, especially within the fashion industry, have acknowledged this and use internet marketing to reach existing and potential customers. Social media and search marketing are two helpful tools that can be used in order to make a company visible on the web, given that they know how to use them effectively. The purpose of this study is to examine how companies within the fashion industry can use social media and search marketing to reach their customers and what kind of attitude they have towards using these tools.

This document is a summary of my work to create a project management system for a small firm working with computer graphics. The intention is to manage customers, projects, images and invoices in the easiest possible way. To make the system as flexible as possible a web-interface was chosen which makes it possible to access the system from any computer, making it independent of any particular operating system. The only requirement on the user environment is that the computer must have a connection to the Internet to be able to access the system. The different techniques that have been used to develop the project management system is primarily Ruby on Rails and a MySQL database. Although Ruby on Rails was completely new to me, I decided to use this framework instead of PHP, which I already have a good knowledge of, because of the benefits Ruby on Rails provide.

The main purpose of this master thesis is to examine how high school students think when they independently are evaluating information for a school assignment. We examine what types of sources they use, and what their reasons are. Besides that we also examine what sorts of criteria they use when evaluating if a source is usable, and if there are any other factors that can have an influence for their choice of material. We have done a qualitative study with 23 students, where the students wrote down their answers in a questionnaire containing wide open questions. We have created our own tool for analysing the material by extracting the most general things in our chapter of earlier research, concerning the three questions which our study is based on.

The environmental debate is more intensive than ever before and the demands on companies increase. There are a number of methods to make it easier for the companies to fulfil the demands. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) end ecodesign are some of the methods that can be used. Syntronic AB has the possibility to reduce the products´ environmental impact in the design phase. Therefore it is important for the company to make it possible to visualize the negative environmental impacts a product can cause in an easy way. It is also important to visualize for there clients if any improvement is possible. The purpose of this thesis is to develop a simplified model.

Abstrakt:Denna uppsats är en kvalitativ studie med kritisk realism som vetenskapligt perspektiv och där syftet är att få en djupare förståelse för rekrytering och förstå på vilka grunder rekryteraren fattar beslut om den arbetssökandes lämplighet. Frågeställningarna lyder; Hur ser företagens rekryteringsprocess ut? Och på vilka grunder fattar rekryteraren beslut om den arbetssökandes lämplighet? För att besvara frågeställningarna har sju semistrukturerade intervjuer med rekryterare genomförts. Våra teoretiska utgångspunkter har varit Bourdieus kapitalteori och Giddens struktureringsteori. Slutsatserna blev att annonsen har betydelse i rekryteringsprocessen genom att den attraherar lämpliga sökande.

Bakgrund: Investeringar inom tillverkningsbranschen har en stor betydelse för tillväxttakten i  samhället. En stor andel av företagen är småföretag vilka representerar en femtedel av totala BNP och antalet arbetstagare i Sverige. Livsmedelsbranschen utgör Sveriges fjärde största industrigren och en förutsättning för att småföretagen ska expandera och stärka sin konkurrenskraft är genom att genomföra lönsamma investeringar. Det är därför väsentligt att investeringsprocesserna är väl utarbetade och att faktorer vid investeringsbeslutet bedöms på ett lämpligt sätt. Syfte: Att beskriva hur investeringsprocessen ser ut. Genom att jämföra småföretags faktiska investeringsprocess med de normativa teorierna inom ämnet vill vi belysa de likheter och skillnader som finns.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur den fysiska miljön i klassrummet upplevs. Vidare ville jag även ta reda på hur den fysiska miljön kan påverka lärandet. I studien får vi ta del av både elevernas och lärarens syn på sitt klassrum, samt hur de skulle vilja att det, enligt dem, ideala klassrummet ser ut. Vidare förde jag också in aspekten om vilka möjligheter eleverna har till inflytande för att delta i beslut gällande den fysiska miljön i klassrummet. Studiens huvudfrågor är: Vilken betydelse anses den fysiska miljön ha för lärandet? Vilka tankar har elever respektive lärare gällande den fysiska miljön i klassrummet? Hur anser eleverna att det idealiska klassrummet ska se ut? Vilken möjlighet till inflytande har eleverna när det gäller att utforma den fysiska miljön i klassrummet? Studien är en kvalitativ studie med semistrukturerade intervjuer.

Syfte: Bakgrunden till detta arbete är att samfälligheten Långbacka där en av författarna bor har haft betydliga problem med värmeförluster. Vår uppsats bygger på att hjälpa styrelsen att lösa denna problematik. Till denna praktiska frågeställning har vi lagt en vetenskapsteoretisk aspekt genom att problematisera beslutsfattande i styrelsearbete.I denna uppsats har vi haft som syfte att ikläda oss styrelsens roll och genom att själva vara en del i processen få känna på den komplexitet som uppstår kring beslut.Metod: Vår teori är insamlad utifrån tre olika synvinklar. Dessa är rationell, icke rationell och en ekonomisk beräkningsmodell. Till dessa teorier har vi empiriskt samlat in information dels genom strukturerade intervjuer men även öppna samtal.

This is a literature study of learning mathematics in general and algebra in particular. The goal is to explore and investigate the learning procedure and the difficulties pupils have with their understanding. Furthermore, to understand what qualities is requested of pupils in their effort to be successful in mathematics and algebra. I have also explored different pupil thinking styles in mathematics and what consequences that has on their learning and understanding. Moreover, I have investigated some different learning styles and how they can be addressed in teaching of mathematics in general and algebra in particular.

In this project I have created a design for the delivery rooms of Swedish hospitals with the psychological aspects ofbirthgiving in focus. This is something that I think the delivery rooms lack and so far it has been the midwifes job to,without any tools, give the women in labor the mental support and encouragement they need.My goal was to give the midwifes a tool to work with when it comes to encouragement, something helping themhelping the woman to feel safe and relaxed, strengthened, informed and in control of the situation.I choose to focus on the difficulties measuring the physical work the woman in labour had done and what was leftof the labour. I wanted to visualize the process of the birth, allowing the woman to see and being able to focus onwhere during the labour she is, how far she has left and also being strengthened by the amount of work already managed.Further I wanted to make the woman feel invited to take control over the birth and the room in which she isin labour. I wanted her to be able ? if she wanted ? to make her own settings of the mood in the room, deciding forherself if she wanted a more relaxed environment or perhaps a more energetic.

AbstractOutsourcing is a business strategy that has developed over the last 40 years. Outsourcing means to let another company do some activity within the company, for example production.The thesis for this paper is: How is outsourcing used in a manufacturing company today and how is the resource efficiency affected by it? The research is divided into two parts, a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part consists of a study of literature. The works in this study is books, text books, bachelor thesis paper and scientific articles.

Spänningsförhållandet mellan det allmänna och den enskilde är särskilt påtagligt i den verksamhet som Försäkringskassan bedriver. Den statliga förvaltningsmyndigheten ägnar sig åt utpräglad myndighetsutövning vid sin ärendehantering och de beslut som myndigheten fattar har stor betydelse för den enskildes försörjning. Det är därför nödvändigt att den enskilde skyddas från godtycklig maktutövning och tillförsäkras rättssäkerhet enligt grundläggande rättsstatliga principer. Försäkringskassan figurerar ofta i negativa sammanhang i massmedia och syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka om den återkommande kritiken mot Försäkringskassan är befogad ur ett rättsstatligt perspektiv. Uppsatsen har avgränsats till att illustrera myndighetens normhantering av sjukförsäkringen.
