Syftet med uppsatsen är att genom en fallstudie titta på TV4 Sveriges säljprocess av deras annonspaket Sumo, genom en modell bearbetad utifrån Roger Bests (2005) andelsutvecklingsträd (eng. Share Development Tree) samt marknadsföringssmixen (eng. Marketing Mix)utifrån Kotler et al. (2002).Metod: Metoden som har använts i denna uppsats är kvalitativ, då syftet var att göra en fallstudie av ett företag. En personlig semistrukturerad intervju med bandspelare genomfördes och två intervjuer via e-post gjordes då dessa två respondenter inte hade tid att träffas personligen.

Problembakgrund: Porter (1996) skriver att ett företags strategi handlar om att välja en unik position på sin marknad. Ekonomistyrning är sedan processen som tillämpas för att uppnå organisationens mål och vald strategi (Anthony, 1965). Simons (2000) delar upp ekonomistyrningen i fyra delar där det system som används för strategiimplementering benämns diagnostiska kontrollsystem. Med grund i detta fann författarna det intressant att genomföra en fallstudie av ett företag på den svenska klädhandelsmarknaden, där hård konkurrens och låg tillväxt råder (Sandow), för att se hur denna aktör löpande implementerar sin strategi via sina diagnostiska kontrollsystem.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats var att genom en fallstudie på företag X undersöka vilken strategisk positionering de har på den svenska klädhandelsmarknaden samt hur de arbetar med sitt diagnostiska kontrollsystem för att dess valda strategiska positionering implementeras och följs upp.Metod: En kvalitativ forskningsansats användes för att uppnå uppsatsens syfte där en fallstudie på företag X med en abduktiv ansats genomfördes för att genom främst intervjuer tillgodogöra sig kvalitativ information om företagets strategiska position och tillämpad diagnostisk styrning. Dessförinnan gjordes en litteraturstudie för att bygga upp en lämplig teoretisk referensram som användes för att analysera resultatet från den empiriska studien.Reslutat och slutsatser: Genomförd studie visar att en position där en känslig kombination av vissa motsättande strategiska variabler som i litteraturen framställs som varken en passande eller opassande kombination går att förena.

In claims for unfair dismissal due to alleged redundancy, the burden of proof should be shared to enable an employee to have the cause of redundancy tried. In such a case, the employee should present evidence of an invalid cause ? such as personal reasons ? and the employer should account for the redundancy. With reference to their conflicting interests, the law favours the employer if the redundancy can be accounted for even if the employee maintains his or her position. This would have been reasonable practice if the employer?s evidence was subject to the same scrutiny as that of the employee but, as long as redundancy is considered a valid cause in itself, this is not the case.Redundancy does not come from nowhere, but it occurs when employers carry out their management decisions.

In this master thesis, control algoritms using arm side sensors are investigated for an industrial robot. The sensors can be position encoders placed after the gearbox and accelerometers on the robot arms. Control strategies are discussed and evaluated for different models of the robot, after which chosen strategies are applied to a realistic model. Control algoritms using arm side sensors (LQ, dual-loop and PD-PID) are compared to a PID-controller that only uses measurements of motor position for feedback control. The comparison are done with respect to disturbance rejection, oscillation damping, robustness and tracking performance of a reference trajectory.

The aim of this essay is to do a queer reading of the early Swedish pentecostal movement, with a special focus on the women within the movement. The main empirical material is Gustaf Emil Söderholms Den svenska pingstväckelsens historia part I and II, published 1927 and 1928, in addition to this a selection of articles from the Swedish pentecostal magazine Evangelii Härold has been used. The theoretical framework consists of Judith Butler's concepts of heterosexual matrix and performativity, as well as interpellation, and of Adrienne Rich's concept of a lesbian continuum. The analysis shows that the evangelist role, as well as the charismatic practices of the movement, made it possible for women to take the position as leader and teacher of congregations, and thereby take up a male subject position. The role as evangelist also made possible a life outside of the heterosexual norm, within the lesbian continuum..

In this essay I try to find out how the local political climate in the Swedish Municipal Örebro looks like through the eyes of Michel Foucault. I?ve been focusing on the concept power, knowledge and politic. I?ve been applying the discourse theory on the study and the founder of that theory is Chantal Mouffe and Ernesto Laclau, the discoursetheory is a refinement of Foucaults thoughts about discourse.

My purpose is to describe and analyse how care managers experience their position as middle managers in the public sector. I have used a qualitative interview method to answer this question and also to capture my six interview persons opinion and understanding of their own position as middle managers. From my six interviews I noticed some difference in their opinions about how it is being a care manger. The results show that the role as care managers have challenges such as to intertwine their own notion how the caring of the elder should be with strict politic decisions. Other challenges are the limitation of economic recourses and reorganisations.

Syftet med det här examensarbetet var att undersöka hur verksamma gymnasielärare har för uppfattning av de mänskliga rättigheternas ställning i ämnet samhällskunskap och om läraren anser att undervisningen om de mänskliga rättigheterna utvecklar elevernas demokratiska kompetens. Uppsatsen tar även upp hur mänskliga rättigheterna framträder i styrdokumenten. Det framgår att dess position har förändrats över tid och har i de nya kurs och läroplanerna fått en allt mer tydlig position. Undersökningen skedde med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra verksamma lärare.Samtliga lärare som jag har intervjuat anser att demokrati och mänskliga rättigheter är något som hör ihop med demokrati och att undervisning om mänskliga rättigheter utvecklar elevernas demokratiska förmåga. Kvantiteten och typ av undervisningen varierar mellan lärarna men ingen av lärarna undervisar mänskliga rättigheter på regelbunden basis.Det vanligast förekommande är att undervisningen sker i samband med att läraren undervisar om demokrati. .

The study is made on behalf of SCA Skog Jämtlands förvaltning which is one of five administration units that SCA Skog consists of. The purpose of the study is to investigate which reduced expenses there are according to spatial concentration of cutting areas. By increasing the spatial concentration of cutting areas it will reduce the need of movements by trailer, also reduce the number of roads that you use during the activities. To be able to perform the study, access to a annual cuttings in nine years have been made available. From this volume new annual cuttings has been created but more concentrated. The two different results have been compared and the results show that concentration of cutting areas generates reduced need for trailer transports and less km road that has to be maintained. But then, if it´s practical viable can be discussed.

Through this study we want to enlighten how different companies work with their internal branding and how well they succeed in this process. We also want to examine if there are any differences in this work depending on the companies market position. Following question is used to investigate this process;- In what way and how well are companies working, depending on market position to implement and maintain their work with the internal brand?For the study a theoretical model was created based on our existing theory. In today?s industry it is starting to get more and more interesting with wireless systems and solutions for applications. To be able to reduce the amount of cables drawn to various machines which takes both space and an extra fee for every cable drawn. Some systems might require the user to use a handheld device that is directly connected by a cable which in some machines might be inelegant for the user.The goal with this bachelor thesis is to develop wireless monitoring of the machine operators position that is working with heavy industrial machinery. The thesis started out with researching different techniques for positioning a transmitter indoors, this was done in order to get a better understanding on how to go about.

Betting under ordered forms has been around for a long time, but the recent increase in Internet betting and the large sums of money that are now involved makes it even more important for betting companies to have correct odds. The purpose of the essay is to calculate probabilities for outcomes of football games using a statistical model and to see if you can find better odds than a betting company.The data contains the 380 games from the 2004/2005 season and the variables form, head-to-heads, league position, points, home/away, average attendance, promoted team, distance and final league position from previous season. After performing an ordered probit regression we only find the variable ?form of the away team? to be significant at the 5 % level. We suspect the presence of multicollinearity and perform a VIF-test which confirms this. To fix this problem we perform a second ordered probit regression where a number of variables are combined to index variables. In the second regression we once again find only one significant variable.

The demand for biogas as vehicle fuel has risen sharply and there is a great need for increased production. A possible addition of vehicle gas can be produced by upgrading landfill gas which is formed by degradation of organic waste. This thesis investigates the potential of producing vehicle fuel from landfill gas in the region of Biogas Öst.In 2008, an amount of 32 million Nm3 landfill gas was extracted in the region. This level can be maintained for another ten years if the efficiency of gas extraction is improved. The annual production will decrease with time since landfills aren?t allowed to receive more organic waste.

This study is about female leadership. The purpose was to gain a better insight to qualities female managers in public sector assume they need to make an enjoyable leadership. We were also interested in finding out what they think is the joy and amusement in the leadership and how they consider responsibility and authority. We used a qualitative method interviewing female leaders at their work. In our analysis of the data we have looked for pattern and key words in a qualitative way.

Detta examensarbete behandlar ämnet dramapedagogik och vilken funktion, position och status ämnet har haft i de läroplaner som utgivits från och med Läroplan för grundskolan 1962 (Lgr62). Materialet som undersökts är framför allt kapitlet Svenska i samtliga läroplaner, men även den allmänna delen och ett antal debattartiklar om ämnet drama i skolundervisning. Den tidigare forskningen som gjorts inom samma område är inte omfattande och berör inte ämnet ur vår vinkling, vilket gör vårt examensarbete relevant och spännande. Tidigare forskning visar att dramapedagogik i skolundervisning generellt har haft en låg position, både över tid och utanför Sverige. Samtidigt visar forskning hur gynnsamt drama i undervisning är för lärandet och att estetiska skolämnen fyller en funktion i dagens informationstäta samhälle, som stöd för att tolka och bearbeta all information som omvärlden ger oss.Som grund för arbetet har vi använt läroplansteori, eftersom det ger en förståelse över hur våra forskningsobjekt, läroplanstexterna, är uppbyggda.
