The aim of this Master's thesis is to discuss and analyse co-operation between public and academic libraries. The political changes that were initiated during 2004 have come to alter the conditions for Swedish libraries. The Swedish library law was changed at the 1st of January 2005 and co-operation between libraries is now statuary even if there is no description of how the new mission is to be executed. At the same time an extensive report about the Royal Library and its role as the Swedish National Library was presented. This report also recommended an increased co-operation between different types of libraries.

This master thesis has been performed at the department of Machine Design at KTH, The Royal Institute of Technology. The thesis has been a part of a global development project in collaboration with Luleå University of Technology, Lund Faculty of Engineering and Stanford University. Corporate liaison and sponsor has been Immerse Global Inc. The project was also performed on sponsorship from the Product Innovation Engineering Program, PIEp. The thesis is a representation of some of the contributions made by the authors.The lack of clean drinking water is one of the key issues facing the world today.

In Sweden in January 2005, there is only one producer of organic broilers and none of organic turkeys. But there are, on the other hand, a few small-scale producers whose housing systems to some extent are similar to what is stipulated in the organic standards. The aims of this work are to investigate what housing systems are used by the Swedish small-scale producers of broilers and turkeys, what main challenges they are confronted with and if there is an interest and a possibility for a change-over to organic production. For the first part of this work a literature study was performed with the purpose of detecting the main health problems in conventional as well as smallscale production. A special focus was on coccidiosis and leg weakness as those were considered to be of particular importance. A study was made of Swedish small-scale poultry production units. In two groups of broilers from the same producer and in three flocks of turkeys the level of Eimeria oocysts in faeces and litter was investigated.

Denna undersökning avser att belysa flickor som gjort könsbrytande val till gymnasiet. Antalet flickor som gör könsbrytande gymnasieval har ökat något de senaste åren. Enligt vägledningsteorin Social Cognitive Career Theory, SCCT, gör individer ?karriärval? utifrån sin subjektiva prestationsförmåga, den s.k.?self-efficacy?. Beroende av hur individen uppfattar sin egen förmåga och värderar sig själv, vidgas eller minskas handlingsutrymmet.

The private sewage systems in Sweden releases around 600 tons of phosphorus per year, compared to about 350 tons from municipal sewage treatment plants, and they account for approximately 21% of the total anthropogenic discharge of phosphorus into Swedish waters. About 40% of Sweden's nearly 1 million private sewage systems are inferior with respect to emissions to surface and groundwater. The technology of small sewage plants is under development and knowledge of treatment effects for different solutions is poorly consolidated. Municipal authorities lack resources to keep up with the technologic development and assess the reliability of the treatment performances that suppliers report for their products. The thesis aims to conduct a market review and evaluation of wholly or partially prefabricated small sewage plants, to make it easier for municipalities and property owners to assess different technical solutions. The goal is a compilation of the products on the market, evaluated on the basis of the reliability of specified degrees of reduction.Information on sampling procedures and test results were collected through a questionnaire to all active suppliers and the responses were then used to classify the products.

2007 infördes regler om dokumentationsskyldighet i Sverige. Reglerna baserades på OECDs riktlinjer för internprissättningsdokumentationskrav. I slutet av september 2014 publicerade OECD BEPS-rapporten ?Guidance on Transfer Pricing Documentation and Country-by-Country Reporting? vilken innehåller omfattande förslag på hur OECDs nuvarande internprissättningsdokumentationsregler bör revideras. Frågan blir därmed om, och i så fall hur, kommande svenska internprissättningsdokumentationsregler bör utformas?Det finns idag betydande skillnader mellan nuvarande svenska bestämmelser och OECDs kommande ändringar.

SammanfattningSyftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva samt reflektera över hur gällande rätt har utvecklats genom rättspraxis när det gäller regleringen avseende ansvar vid medverkan till brott. Ytterligare ett syfte är att försöka tydliggöra var, och om, några juridiskt relevanta gränser mellan gärningsmän, medgärningsmän och medhjälpare kan utläsas ur praxis.För att genomföra uppsatsen har lag, förarbeten, rättsfall och doktrin studerats.De slutsatser som kan dras av praxis när det gäller gränsdragningarna är att det krävs relativt lite av en person för att han ska kunna dömas som medverkande till brott. Som utgångspunkt nämn "Rockfallet" där en man döms för medhjälp till misshandel då han hållit en bekants rock medan han misshandlar och rånar en fotgängare och där jämförelse med den straffria gärningen att med gillande min stå och se på ett slagsmål görs.I uppsatsen presenteras även flera andra rättsfall som illustrerar gränsdragningen mellan det straffbara och det straffria området.När det gäller gränsdragningen mellan en gärningsman, en medgärningsman och till viss del även en medhjälpare konstateras att praxis till viss del visar på en ojämn rättstillämpning som i några fall kan beskrivas som rättsosäker. Detta medför att några säkra slutsatser inte kan dras av materialet. Den konturen som dock kan utläsas är att ett gemensamt handlande, föregått av ett samråd, blir straffbart såsom medgärningsmannaskap. När omständigheterna medför att det brister i det gemensamma handlandet eller i samrådet blir utgången i målet i vissa fall svår att förutse.Ytterligare en aspekt är att den bristande förutsebarheten till viss del kan bero på att området endast är praxisreglerat, uttryckligt lagstöd saknas i många fall.För att komma till rätta med den bristande förutsebarheten och rättsosäkerheten är ett förslag till lösning att lagstiftaren i lag reglerar de fall där straffbarhet kan inträda trots att rekvisiten i det aktuella straffstadgandet inte uppfyllts..

The aim of this report is to increase the knowledge and understanding of the problems within the production at AQ Enclosure systems, and thereby achieve a more stable flow throughout the whole process, a better working environment and better competition advantages. The internal flow along with the external cooperation is very important for the company, because it views flexibility and short leadtime as it is the most important competitive means. The part of AQ production that?s been investigated is the manufacturing of ATM-machines, where the costumer is Banqit. This company is a rater small company with about 4 % of the world market of ATM-machines.In order to achieve the aim of the report extensive interviews have been carried out with employees at AQ.

Syfte & problemområde:Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka hur dagens vuxna barn upplevt deras uppväxt i en familj med alkoholmissbruk. Jag ville även studera hur dessa personers nuvarande livssituation såg ut, och hur den påverkats av den specifika uppväxten, med en missbrukande förälder.Metod & material:Studien är en kvalitativ intervjustudie, där empirin har samlats in genom intervjuer med fem vuxna barn till missbrukare. Materialet tolkades och problematiserades utifrån ett systemteoretiskt perspektiv med fokus på familjen, och stämplingsteori med fokus på individen.Resultat & slutsatser:I resultatet framkommer det att flertalet av informanterna blev varse om att någonting inte stod rätt till vid 8-9 års ålder. Gemensamt för nästan alla som barn var känslorna av skam och kluvenhet över situationen med en mamma eller pappa som missbrukar.I fyra av fallen så fanns det en önskan om att fly eller hålla sig borta, men samtidigt en ambivalens gällande deras frånvaro, tre av dem kunde känna oro för föräldern eller syskon, medan den fjärde kände förväntningar på sig om ansvar i hemmet. Även känslor av ensamhet, utanförskap och dåligt självförtroende var typiska, känslor som kunde styrkas genom tidigare studier och kan eventuellt tolkas ses som representativa hos barn till föräldrar med alkoholmissbruk.

Outside of many Swedish households today, you will find a typical green wastecontainer. This container has not changed since its introduction, despitecomplaints about foul-smelling and its impractical system. Even if the system usedtoday, still is the most optimal choice, there is a lot of newly developedalternatives out there.Its purpose is to get a broader perspective on how a waste management systemcan be developed into a working, land efficiently and aesthetically pleasing systemof humans and the environment in a small residential area.The authors treat the residential area of Jära, Ekhagen, in Jönköping, which ismanaged by JM AB as a problem area in regards to waste management.The issues raised by the authors are the different waste management systems usedin the corresponding areas of the world, how to apply technical andenvironmental as well as the waste management facilities from financial aspects.In the process, the methods used were literature reviews, case studies and aninterview. The case study was done through a modeling of waste managementsystems in the area Jära and an interview was conducted with the company Envacworking with vacuum systems. Studies have been made by different systems n theareas around the world.The results show that using directives and guidance will reduce the environmentalimpact done without replacing the traditional system.

During the middle of the 18th century the development of Toyota Production System, TPS, started in order to streamline the processes. TPS was based on the principles of assembly line production but unlike previous performers Toyota let the manufacturing be constantly affected by demand. At the end of the 18th century TPS was described by Womack and Jones in the book "The machine that changed the world - the story of lean producion" where TPS got the name lean. The principles behind lean is to maximize customer value and eliminate waste which means making products and services more valuable to the customer. 1Lean was for a long time a philosophy and an approach limited to industries and production based companies.

This EEF-project is a part of a larger project at SLU, Division of Reproduction, Dept of Clinical Science, with the intention of developing and evaluating new methods for the assessment of stallion semen quality. Over the last 10 years there has been an increase in the use of artificial insemination with cooled semen in Swedish horse breeding. At the same time, foaling rates have decreased. This has lead to a need for new and better methods of assessing the quality of stallion semen. This EEF-project was based on an objective method to calculate motility, with QualispermTM, in fresh and cooled stallion semen, and after selection. Today sperm motility evaluation is mainly done subjectively by visual assessment with a light microscope, and the correlation between these motility results and fertility have varied.

This report describes an bachelor thesis work which is performed in cooperation with SVIA that develops and sells automation solutions for the manufacturing industry. The thesis purpose was to evaluate the machine FeedLine to find opportunities for improvement in the product?s design that could lead to more standardization and thus improving the efficiency of manufacturing and assembly.Based on these basic issues suggestions for improvements were developed:How can the design of FeedLine be improved to facilitate the assembly?Can more standardization be imposed on FeedLine?s design to enable more stocking of standard components?An initial pre-study was conducted to evaluate FeedLine?s to find opportunities for improvement in its overall design. During the pre-study staff at SVIA and two of its clients was interviewed. Based on information gathered during the interviews and observations by the authors improvements was amendments.

This master thesis was conducted at Motala Wire Works Ltd (MWW) in Motala during the autumn and winter of 2007-2008. The thesis named ?Future layout of Motala Wire Works? focuses on making a better planed layout for the factory, which also take in to consideration future changes.Motala Wire Work produces wire mesh products of varying sorts for the white goods industry. The factory was started by Electrolux during the 1950?s.

I den aktuella kommun där studien genomförts har stora satsningar gjorts på att fortbilda vårdpersonal i demensvård under många år. Trots detta har det visat sig att det finns svårigheter för vårdarna att omsätta kunskaperna i det vardagliga arbetet. Under 2005-2008 pågår Kompetensstegen, en stor nationell satsning för att förbättra vården och omsorgens inre kvalitet i äldreomsorgen. Jag ville därför med mitt examensarbete undersöka effekterna av en så stor utbildningssatsning. Syftet var att undersöka vårdpersonalens uppfattningar av lärandet och de nya kunskaper som de fått genom Kompetensstegens demensutbildningar och vilka möjligheter eller hinder som finns för ett fortsatt lärande efter utbildningen.
