The purpose of this study was to look into the work of care organizers for elderly care, in three municipalities in southern Sweden, and how they use the law and local guidelines to evaluate the need for home care. The intention was to determine if presence of relatives makes a difference in the needs assessment and if the care organizers practice harmonize with the guidelines. To do this, we did a qualitative study alongside with analyzing each of the local guidelines. By interviewing five care organizers, we were able to see their side of elderly care and how they combine the law and local guidelines in their daily work with elderly care. Our main themes are, in short, the law and local guidelines, the view of care organizing and needs and also closeness to relatives.

Abstract  The development and onset of diseases such as cardiovascular disease (CVD) and Type 2 diabetes are closely linked to genetics and lifestyle factors including physical activity and diet. A cluster of metabolic disorders called the metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a high-risk factor in developing these diseases. Acording to the International diabetes institute, one fourth of the worlds adult population has MetS. These individuals are twice as likely to die from CVDs compared to individuals without MetS. Physical activity (PA) and exercise has been shown to provide a number of positive effects that are considered to reduce the risk of developing sickness and premature mortality among both men and women of all ages, independent of other risk factors.

The Third International Assessment of Educational Progress (TIMMS) and the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) during the last decades regarding the results of mathematics teaching shows that China have a better performance than Sweden?s.Swedish teacher-guidelines focus on developing student?s individual interest and confidence for mathematics. In the Chinese teaching-guidelines for Mathematics Curriculum Standards, Ordninary Senior Secondary, the focus is given on: Elevate their mathematics literacy necessary for future citizenship and Development of citizen´s qualities (s.3).Teachers are the primary factors that impact teaching and learning of mathematics. Two teachers from Sweden and two from China were interviewed and their methods were compared in my study. The aim of my study was to understand mathematics teaching in China and Sweden.

The present project is a first step towards a new Swedish assessment tool to examine phonological ability in preschool-aged children. The work consisted of developing a word list with words that was considered to reveal a child?s phonological ability and to try out the word list on pre-school children. The reason was to make sure that the words existed in the vocabulary of the children in the chosen ages. A word list consisting of 109 words, which convey relevant phonological information, was created.

Syftet med studien är att utifrån verksamma organisationers erfarenhet av AC skapa en ökad förståelse för; metodens innebörd, vilka argument som ligger till grund förorganisationers användande av metoden samt dess värde för organisationer. Studien är avkvalitativ karaktär och fokus fästs vid tolkning och förståelse av AC baserat pårespondenternas subjektiva uppfattningar och upplevelser. Studiens teoretiska referensrambehandlar; Human Resource Management, rekrytering, personalekonomi, Talent Management och Assessment Center. Empiri har samlats från sex verksamma organisationer, varav fem organisationer vilka arbetar med AC samt en organisation som har påvisat ett eventuellt intresse av att utveckla ett AC.

The purpose of this essay is to examine which factors that influence the design of internal control in municipal context and how well it works. We choose seven municipals, where we interviewed the administrative managers, the chairmen of the committees and two persons of the staff in each activity unit. The interviews were performed by telephone, due to the keeping of the essay?s timeframe.The theory in our essay comprises eight hypotheses. The object of this essay has been to investigate the interlibrary loan service at the universitylibraries of Borås and Kalmar. For this purpose a quantitative and a qualitative methodhave been used.The main body of information consists of statistic data concerning the incoming interlendingorders for a three-month-period. Detta examensarbete behandlar kommutering av en BLDC-motor, borstlös likspänningsmotor, med hjälp av FPGA, Field Programmable Gate Array. Det jämför och diskuterar också skillnader mellan de intelligenta aktuatorer som används av branchen idag med dumma aktuatorsystem och syftar till att bygga kunskap kring ämnet. Allt högre krav ställs på kommunikationen i ett fordon vad gäller hastighet och datamängd och av denna anledning är det av stort intresse att utreda om ett teknikbyte av ett driftkritiskt system som en BLDC-aktuator är möjligt och lämpligt.Som en fortsättning på tidigare examensarbeten som behandlat reglering av en borstlös likspänningsmotor med hjälp av en dum aktuator löser detta examensarbete ett problem rörande färdigskriven kommuteringskod som uppdagades. Att använda en FPGA för att ta fram kommuteringssignaler till drivsteget ger en försumbar fördröjning av de pulsbreddsmodulerade signalerna som reglerar motorn och därmed uppnås en fungerande dum aktuator som uppfyller Scanias krav för kommutering av BLDC-motorn.Dumma aktuatorer är på många sätt ett bättre alternativ än dagens intelligenta aktuatorer. Fördelar och nackdelar med tre olika system inom områdena uptime, produktionsvolymer, prisnivå och kostnader, reglerprestanda, IO-krav och eektkrav jämförs och diskuteras och på de ?flesta punkter pekar resultaten på att ett teknikbyte till dumma aktuatorer skulle ge vinster på era plan..
