Kindergarden - How can we create different synergies between different fields that they can benefit from each other? What different activities will suit the kindergarden? How will our perception of the kindergarden, of its need and function in society, change?In this Degree Project in Architecture I will be investigating the combination of the kindergarden together with a restaurant and a dance studio. I believe these activities will harmonize since they have overlapping benefits: We all eat, move and grow.With the new architectural activities in mind, I will further investigate the importance of the kindergarden as a part of society, more specifically our perception of what function it may, may not or could fill. I share the idea with a lot of authors, scientist that we are headed toward a society where children are kept too safe, thus minimising their chance to experience and learn to cope with a harsh reality when they grow up as adults. The aim of this Bachelor?s thesis is to obtain understanding and knowledge about how literary scholars collaborate regarding information. Seven scholars have been studied in the aim to find out social and cultural elements which create particular prerequisites for their practice, with focus on information sharing. The method used has consisted of semi-structured interviews. The informants have been studied from a socio cultural and domain analysis starting point, which means that they are studied in the light of being members in their practice.

In Scandinavia today many old harbour areas are developed into residential and commercial areas. For example are both Helsingborg city and Malmoe city in south Sweden planning to restructure some of their harbour areas to accommodate shops, schools, offices, residences et cetera. In Copenhagen in Denmark new plans for Nordhavn is also underway. In almost every plan proposal to redevelope an old harbour area the harbour activities are set a side to give room for new development. In Reykjavik, however, this has not been the case.

The built environment should be accessible for everyone. A residence shall be functional without creating a handicap for people who have a disability from birth, caused by an accident or of old age. A residence that is accessible creates equal conditions for everyone.In this report the accessibility of newly built blocks of flats in Uddevalla city from 1990 until today are interpreted. One project that is yet to be built is interpreted and compared with the already existing projects. The apartments of seven projects have been analyzed according to today?s regulations of accessibility.

The aim of this observational study was to see how social interaction works in nursing homesdayroom. The focus was to study the staff and the residents during lunch, afternoon coffee,and during the eventual common activity. The observation persons were passive and they didnot communicate with either staff nor with the residents. The theoretical framework usedwas Georetrendens theory, KASAM and Communication theory. The results showedthat social interaction in the dayroom of the nursing home is rarely spontaneous, but mustinstead be planned by the staff.

Det är viktigt att elever i skolan äter tillräckligt mycket mat under skoldagen så att de orkar hålla koncentrationen uppe och kan prestera bra i skolan. Syftet var att undersöka om innehållet av energi (kcal), protein, fett och kolhydrater är tillräckligt i maten som elever i årskurs 3, som är på fritidshem före och efter skolan, äter till frukost, lunch och mellanmål under en skoldag. En kartläggning gjordes över vad åtta elever åt under tre måltider under en skoldag och intaget energi- och näringsintag beräknades i relation till Livsmedelsverkets rekommendationer. Resultatet visade att elevernas energi- och näringsintag var bäst under frukosten, även om det var lågt hos de flesta. Under lunchen minskade energi- och näringsintaget och blev ännu sämre vid eftermiddagens mellanmål.

Syfte Studiens syfte var att belysa hur operationssjuksköterskan upplever sin yrkesroll. Metod Studien genomfördes med en kvalitativ ansats och tio semistrukturerade intervjuer utfördes med operationssjuksköterskor från två sjukhus i Sverige under våren 2011. Alla intervjuer spelades in och transkriberades ordagrant.

Unaware we are affectedby this threedimensional surrounding of ours, and it reacts with our perception. Many times, we chooseto translate it into something two-dimensional, for example when we take a photo, recording a movie orframing a view with a window. It helps us to catch a moment, a piece of reality and restore it in our ownway.
