The aim with this study was to analyze and understand how begging is constructed as a social problem in Sweden between September of 2010 and the end of February in 2014 in debate articles in Dagens Nyheter. To do this I have chosen to use a social problems theory and critical discourse analysis to highlight some aspects in the process of defining the social problem. The study's main finding is that the construction of beggars and begging appears to be in a relatively extensive redefinition in the current situation. It is shown by, for example, a shift in focus in the discourse. For this reason, it is relevant for social work to examine how the construction progresses..

Målet med examensarbetet är att svara på frågan: "Är det resurssparande att öka detaljeringsgraden i BIM-modellen genom virtuellt uppreglade gipsväggar?" Rapporten behandlar en BIM-laboration som genomförts i samarbete med NCC i projektet Signalfabriken i Sundbyberg. Med programmet Lindab Revit Tools (LRT) reglades gipsväggar upp virtuellt och adderades till projektets byggnadsinformationsmodell (BIM). Materialet kvalitetssäkrades vid samgranskningsmöten och användes för att generera A3-handlingar för test i produktion. Testet och handlingen diskuterades med representanter från olika delar av byggprocessen och en reviderad handling utvecklades samt godkändes. Laborationen upprepades med syftet att effektivisera processen och erfarenheterna från detta ledde till att frågeställningen fick följande svar: Ja, om endast komplicerade områden modelleras.

I denna uppsats har vi undersökt möjligheten till övervinster i samband med utdelningar för svenska företag på OMX Stockholm Large Cap och Small Cap mellan åren 2006 och 2010. Genom en statistisk jämförelse mellan aktiekursens förändring i samband med utdelningen undersöker vi marknadens effektivitet. Resultaten tyder på att Large Cap är en effektiv marknad i samband med utdelningar, medan Small Cap visar tecken på ineffektivitet. Resultaten stödjer delvis tidigare studier, som säger att marknaden är effektiv. Vår studie skiljer oss från tidigare forskning eftersom vi undersöker Large Cap och Small Cap som separata marknader istället för hela börsen.

2010 was the year of the wedding between Sweden?s crown princess Victoria and Daniel Westling. Although the wedding was partly financed with tax payer?s money, the newspapers did not investigate it further. The main theme of the published articles was lighter and with an entertainment value rather than finding out what the tax money really went.

The United States use of Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles (UCAV) or drones for targeted killings of terrorists has been on the rise in recent years and the method has become the core element of president Obamas strategy in the war against terror. This study examines the deterrent effect of targeted killings on terrorism using UCAV/drones as a method of counterterrorism. Building on the literature on counterterrorism, UCAV, targeted killings, deterrence theory and statistics on terrorism the study provides a case study of the CIA drone operations in Pakistan between the years 2004-2010. The goal has been to analyze drone operations and the extent of terrorism from the beginning of the drone campaign until 2010. This as a means of identifying possible trends in terrorism activity due to the occurrence of drone strikes.

In Sweden exist a Swedish institute for children?s book which is a national information center. They have an annual "Book tasting" where they present statistics and trends from the latest publications of literature for youth and children.In their ?book tasting?? from 2010 a number of picture books had, as they say, children who descend from non-Swedish culture (Swedish institute for children?s book, 2010). The aim of this thesis is to investigate how the ethnical diversity describes in these picture books from 2010. To understand how the ethnical diversity describes in these books I had two questions which helped me in my research.

The purpose of this thesis is, through both a quantitative and qualitative study, to map out how the interaction appears between the established parties and the radical right-wing party, the Sweden Democrat?s (SD) and their core issue ? immigration in the Swedish parliament. By applying analytical dimensions on the parliamentary protocols regarding the immigration issue between the years of 2010-2012 this study will get an insight on how the argumentation concerning immigration has developed since their entrance into the Swedish parliament in 2010. The result shows that SD, through the rejection treatment of the established parties, fulfilled the three conditions which accordingly to the study's theoretical framework are crucial for the party's future success. In the established parties? reception of SD regarding immigration, SD is, to a large extent, left unchallenged as the established parties rather focus on integration instead of challenge SD in the immigration issue.

Sammanfattning I Lpfö98/2010 formuleras i ett av uppdragen att ?[f]lickor och pojkar ska i förskolan ha samma möjligheter att pröva och utveckla förmågor och intressen utan begränsningar utifrån stereotypa könsroller? (Lpfö 98/2010, s 5). Det anges även att pedagogers förväntningar och sätt att bemöta pojkar och flickor bidrar till att skapa uppfattningar hos barnen om vad som anses vara kvinnligt och manligt. Detta ska motverkas genom att utmana traditionella könsmönster och könsroller (Lpfö 98/2010). Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka, med tanke på läroplanens formulering, hur pedagoger i förskolans verksamhet säger sig arbeta med genus- och jämställdhet.

This study investigates the evolution of depictions of Maoist China in Swedish history textbooks from 1970 to 2010. Through examining textbooks from this period, 20 years before the end of the cold war and 20 years after it, this study aims to investigate how quickly and how radically textbooks can change in their depictions of controversial and significant historical periods. Comparing descriptions of both people, tumultuous events, and general trends in China under Mao's rule, this study finds significant differences in how the textbooks describe Maoist China. While textbooks in the 1970s give a largely positive, sympathetic and hopeful view of China, during the 1990s and 2000s that perspective has been overtaken by an overwhelmingly critical view of Mao and his rule, focusing on his failures and dictatorial rule. The findings add to a somewhat divided field of research on the adaptability of textbooks, leaning toward the idea that textbooks can change rapidly during times of turmoil in a society..

Under 2010 antogs en ny regionplan för stockholms län, RUFS 2010. Planens mål är att ?Stockholm ska bli Europas mest attraktiva storstadsregion?. Dialog och samverkan har varit viktiga utgångspunkter både för planprocessen och det framtida arbetet med att genomföra planen. Regionen har arbetat med att involvera kommunerna i regionplaneprocessen, bland annat som ett sätt att förankra regionplaneringens innehåll även i kommunernas egna strategiska planering.I den här studien har jag undersökt relationerna mellan medborgarna, kommunerna och regionen i planeringen, för att söka svar på frågor om makten över den strategiska planeringen, vem som har tillträde till arenorna där beslut fattas samt medborgarnas möjligheter till inflytande i den regionala planeringen.För att svara på mina frågeställningar har jag gjort en fallstudie i stockholmsregionen, där jag studerat den nya regionplanen och ett antal stockholmskommuners översiktsplaner.

The aim of this thesis is to contribute to the field ofinformation politics, in the areas of the future regulationof The Fundamental Law on Freedom of Expression andThe Freedom of the Press Act. The focus of the study is todiscursively examine how ideas and perspectives ontechnological developments are expressed in a pendingSwedish legislative proposal. The empirical data consistsof an interim government report, SOU 2010:68, writtenby Yttrandefrihetskommittén (Committee on Freedom ofExpression) and analysed using Norman Fairclough'sCritical Discourse Analysis. The analysis is conducted onthree levels: a textual level, a discursive practice level anda social practice level.On the textual level we found that the committeecontinously uses significantly charged expressions todescribe technological development. On the discursivepractice level two discourses were identified.

They have not been entitled to the economic support that is given to Swedish parties with more than 2,5 percent of the votes in the last two elections. Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka hur begreppen tillgänglighet och förebyggande i skollagen 2010:800 andra kapitlet 25 § beskrivs implementeras i grundskolekuratorers och en skolsocionoms arbete samt att granska budget på stats-, kommun- och förvaltningsnivå som berör skollagens fastställande av elevhälsa. Empirin utgjordes av enskilda intervjuer och olika officiella dokument. Intervjurespondenterna var fyra grundskolekuratorer och en skolsocionom. Dokumenten var i form av fem grundskolekuratorers arbetsbeskrivningar, deras procentuella tjänstgöring och elevantal på de skolor de arbetar samt budget på stats-, kommun- och förvaltningsnivå. Frågeställningarna var: Hur beskrivs lagens begrepp tillgänglighet och förebyggande av skolkuratorerna och skolsocionomen? Hur skildras fem grundskolekuratorers arbetsbeskrivning och hur skildras deras tjänster i procent i förhållande till det antal elever de ansvarar för? Hur beskrivs det i budget att stats-, kommun- och förvaltningsnivå har bidragit till implementeringen av lagen i elevhälsan? Vi använde oss av kvalitativ metod med kodning och komparativ analys.
