Syftet med denna studie är att studera ambulanssjuksköterskors upplevelser av att bedöma och vårda barn under tio års ålder med akut smärta i en prehospital kontext. Metod: Studien utfördes som en kvalitativ empirisk intervjustudie baserad på fem öppna frågor. Tio ambulanssjuksköterskor intervjuades och fick beskriva positiva och negativa upplevelser av att omhänderta barn 0-10 år med akut smärta i prehospital kontext. Materialet analyserades genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys med en manifest och latent ansats. Resultat: Upplevelser av det vårdande mötet var en utmaning. Ambulanssjuksköterskan förberedde sig inför smärtbehandling under framkörningen till barnet. En bra smärtlindring var förenad med ett gott omhändertagande men smärtbehandlingen var svår och mångfacetterad.

Introduktion: Internet består idag av flertalet forum som var och en kan karaktäriseras som eninternetkultur. Dessa forum inriktar sig till att antingen anonymisera sina användare för attutnyttja yttrandefrihetens maximala potential, eller icke-anonymitet där användare kankopplas till personliga uppgifter tillgängliga till de som vistas på forumet. Allt fler svenskarväljer anonymiseringstjänster på grund av de digitala övervakningslagarna som har trätt i kraftunder 2000-talet. Syftet: syftet med studien är explorativt, det vill säga att ta reda på hur såkallade lurkers, åskådare, uppfattar anonymitet på internet. Metod: för att samla empirigenomfördes kvalitativa intervjuer med sex stycken så kallade lurkers.

The purpose of this paper is to follow Swedbank project "cash smart" and have it as a basis when we examine if we are heading for a cash-free society and what obstacles and opportunities there is for a cash-free society.Method:We have used a qualitative method to conduct interviews with two individuals involved in the project "cash smart" at Swedbank in Gävle.

This thesis was performed at Zetterbergs Industri AB. Zetterbergs is designing, building and mounts body systems for trucks, including dumpers and tippers. The assignment for the thesis was to design a door hinge for a spreader gate. The spreader gate is the top of the two tailgates on a dumper or tipper and opens back and outwards when tipping the cargo. The spreader gate controls the mass flow of the material being tipped.

This is an essay in Swedish on the subject of democracy and demonstrations of collective violence. The study is based on a conflict between the youth-house movement in Copenhagen and the state of Denmark - the city of Copenhagen. The focus is over the period December 2006 until January 2008 with reflection on the political movement around the youth-house from the 80's and onwards. This political movement roots back to the late 60's and especially the squatting movement, the BZ, of Europe which had a strong period in Denmark both in the 60's and the 80's. There is also a strong connection to other political movements of anti-fascism, anti-globalisation, queer activism and equal rights.

The purpose of this study is to examine how teenage mother in Iceland, who lives in the capital Reykjavík, perceive their situation. The research questions are:How do teenage mother`s perceive that their lives have changed since they became mothers?Perceive teenage mother some sorts of shame, and if so, in what way?What is the process of teenage mothers to be respected?Qualitative semi structured interviews with 5 girls in the aged of 18-20, is used for analysis in this study. The girls have in common that they have had their child when they were between 15 and 19 years old. The interview were recorded on tape and then it was transcribed.

I denna studie har jag undersökt hur ledarskap på distans bedrevs av ledare med chefsuppdrag inom laboratoriemedicin. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur cheferna beskrev vad som utmärkte ledarskapet på distans, vilka egenskaper en ledare behövde för att leda en organisation på distans och hur de kommunicerade med sina medarbetare.  Jag har i denna studie intervjuat åtta ledare på olika nivåer. Sex av informanterna arbetade inom två olika landsting och två arbetade åt en privat vårdgivare. Vid genomgången av intervjumaterialet framkom nio olika teman vilka var specifika egenskaper, delegering, resor, motivation och feed-back, avstämmande kommunikation, kommunikationsformer, mötesformer, medarbetarsamtal och information.

Bakgrund och problemformulering: Kvinnors symtom och upplevelser vid akut hjärtinfarkt är ofta svårtolkade. Det beror på att deras symtom är atypiska. Kranskärlssjukdom har länge ansetts vara ett manligt problem varför kvinnor har uteslutits ur vetenskapliga studier. Detta har medfört att kunskapen om kvinnans hjärt-kärlsjukdom inte är lika god som mannens. För att kunna ge rätt behandling och god omvårdnad är det viktigt för ambulanssjuksköterskan att få kunskap om kvinnors atypiska symtom.Syfte: Studien syftar till att beskriva kvinnors symtom och upplevelser vid akut hjärtinfarkt för att ambulanssjuksköterskan ska kunna ge rätt behandling och god omvårdnad.Metod: Vi har gjort en litteraturstudie där fokus har lagts på kvalitativa artiklar som beskriver kvinnors symtom och upplevelser vid akut hjärtinfarkt.

Organic agriculture is financially promoted in Sweden by special environmental support and as consumers we are all encouraged to buy organic food. At the same time scholars at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences claim that organic farming does not provide any environmental benefits. The main criticism is that organic farming has lower yields than conventional, which means that more land is needed to produce the same amount of food as in conventional farming, leading to deforestation and loss of biodiversity. As for climate change, the critics claim that the significantly higher productivity in conventional crop production compared to organic, releases surplus land, which could be used for bio-fuel production and thereby replace the fossil fuels. The critics also claim that organic farming causes higher nutrient leaching than conventional.

Haemophilia is an inherited disease which causes increased bleeding due to defect clotting factors VIII and/or IX. There are two forms of haemophilia, A and B, which both are X-linked and due to mutations of the genes of factor VIII and factor IX respectively. This study focuses on Haemophilia A and thereby factor VIII.The drugs that are available on the Swedish market today for patients with haemophilia A include Factor VIII(FVIII), which has been purified from human plasma and recombinant factor VIII(rFVIII). The main goal of this study is to gain a better understanding of the effects of treatment of haemophilia A with either purified plasma factor VIII or recombinant factor VIII on reducing or preventing bleeding and on side effects.  The study was designed as a literature review and searches were carried out in PubMed at the Linnaeus University library.  The criteria for selection of articles were: patients with haemophilia, treatment with plasma derived and/or recombinant factor VIII as well as clinical studies.

This bachelor thesis examines the activities and values associated with automation and technical development at four Swedish research libraries. It does so by applying textual analysis to annual reports and job advertisements from the respective libraries. The study also questions whether some assumptions of automation have changed or remain over time, and includes a short historical discussion in relation to the contemporary analysis. As an added perspective it introduces the methods and philosophies of French sociologist Bruno Latour. The author reflects on the merits of Latour in research of library automation.

Bakgrund: Studier har visat att sjuksköterskor hade bristande kunskap om psykisk hälsa, bristande färdigheter att vårda patienter med självskadebeteende och få eller inga möjligheter att utveckla dessa färdigheter. Sjuksköterskor ansåg att det fanns behov av utbildning och träning inom detta område. Ett holistiskt synsätt innebar att sjuksköterskor ser patienten ur alla perspektiv. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva hur interventioner påverkar sjuksköterskors bemötande av självskadande och suicidala patienter inom somatisk sjukvård, samt att översiktligt beskriva vilka interventioner som använts. This thesis is the result of the investigation and solution of a mechanicalproblem regarding flywheel malfunctions. A flywheel is, in short, a devicethat relies on a rotating object?s moment of inertia to store energy overshort time spans. This project is part of the development of a fourthflywheel prototype at the division for electricity at Uppsala university,which uses magnetic levitation to keep a hollow cylinder rotating at veryhigh speeds inside a vacuum chamber. Should the magnets fail however, orsome other error occur that leads to an uncontrolled state of rotation, thecylinder needs to be stabilized mechanically by a device usually referredto as ?back-up bearing?.
