Considering that the price and demand for energy gradually has risen over the past decade and a wider discussion about the human impact on the environment has become increasingly more important and given a clearer role in modern society. This has contributed to increased incentives to reduce the use of fossil fuels and increase the use of renewable energy.The agriculture currently accounts for 20 % of Sweden's total greenhouse gas emissions. A way for an agricultural company like Wapnö AB to reduce their emissions could be to utilize existing renewable energy sources within their own premises.The report's aim is to create an energy audit of Wapnö?s existing energy system and how it changes with a future biogas plant in operation. The energy audit is used to illustrate how the company?s climate footprint could change.

AbstractThis composition is an analysis of the British writer Jeanette Winterson's novel Sexing the Cherry. My interpretation originates from the tradition of feminist literary criticism and my purpose is to read the novel against the queer theorist Judith Butler to reach an understanding of the characters queer selves.Judith Butler's theory of performative gender and her notion of sex as something derived from cultural manifestations might help me to understand the characters in the novel. Genom att läsa romanen mot queerteoretikern Judith Butler hoppas jag kunna bilda en förståelse för romankaraktärernas queera identiter. Butlers teori om genus som performativt görande och hennes resonemang kring könet som härlett från kulturella manifestationer kan hjälpa mig med detta.

Att lindra smärta är en av allmänsjuksköterskans stora arbetsuppgifter och smärta som ett fenomen är något som varje person upplever individuellt. Därmed blir det en svår utmaning för vårdpersonal att behandla den enskilde patienten på bästa sätt. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa vilka smärtlindringsmetoder och läkemedel som används postoperativt vid bukoperation, samt vilken omvårdnad allmänsjuksköterskan utför vid smärta. Vidare var syftet även att belysa patientens förväntningar och erfarenheter av smärta. Tio vetenskapliga artiklar låg till grund för resultatet.

This is an empirical cross-sectional study with the aim to examine the patient?s comprehension about their quality of life within two to seven years after their stem-cell transplantation with reference to physical, social, emotional, psychological and functional wellbeing and to investigate if the patient groups have disease specific problems. Differences in quality of life between men and women and also between allogeneic and stem cell transplantation with an unrelated donor (URD) were studied. The measurement Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy (FACT) and the bone marrow transplant subscale (BMT) is a 49 item, valid and reliable measure that was used. The questionnaire was answered by 43 of 47 patients (91%).There is a significant difference between men and women in physical, social and functional wellbeing.

The aim of this thesis is to describe the subject indexing of images performed at the provincial museum of Jämtland and to evaluate the inter-indexer consistency at the museum. The main questions are: How are photographs indexed in the database SOFIE foto regarding Outline-codes, subject headings and natural language keywords? How does these procedures compare to research and indexing projects? How consistent are the indexers at the museum when choosing Outline-codes, subject headings and natural language keywords? Answers are sought by reading articles about classification, image indexing, indexing language, indexing consistency and by looking at a number of projects attempting to standardise image indexing practice in Sweden. The indexing practice at the museum is also described. In addition a minor inter-indexing consistency study, based on the subject indexing of ten photographs made by five indexers at the museum, is performed.

Syfte: Att studera föräldrars uppfattning om den preoperativa information de får inför sitt barns planerade operation, samt undersöka om och på vilket sätt föräldrarna anser att informationen behöver förbättras.Metod: Kvantitativ, deskreptiv enkätstudie. Enkäten innehöll främst standardiserade frågor men även några öppna frågor. Föräldrar till barn i åldrarna 0-3 år inneliggande på en barnkirurgisk vårdavdelning ombads delta i studien. Antalet insamlade enkäter var 22 stycken.Resultat: Föräldrarna var som helhet nöjda med den preoperativa informationen, majoriteten ansåg att mängden information varit lagom omfattande och att informationen från personalen oftast gavs på ett sätt så att de förstod. Några föräldrar ansåg att informationen gällande det postoperativa vårdförloppet delvis varit bristfällig.

Bakgrund: Föräldrar är ofta oroliga i samband med barnets operation. Studier har visat att god information till föräldrarna kan minska denna oro. Dock har studier även visat att föräldrar till barn som ska opereras får ofta bristfällig information både pre-, per- och postoperativt.Syfte: Syftet med den här studien är att ta reda på hur föräldrar till barn som har opererats, på ett barnsjukhus i mellersta Sverige, upplevde informationen de har fått pre-, per- och postoperativt.Metod: Kvalitativa intervjuer genomfördes med nio deltagande föräldrar. Data analyserades med innehållsanalys.Resultat: Den skriftliga hemskickade informationen upplevdes bristfällig då information om operationen samt hemsidan saknades. Den muntliga preoperativa informationen upplevde vissa föräldrarna som tillräcklig då de fick information angående operationen.

The aim of this study was to evaluate parents and course leaders'perceptions of ComHome, a course in communication for parents. Thecourse aims to change the interaction between the parent and the child in aselected play activity based on a defined goal and agreed methodology. Thedata consisted of four group interviews and an individual interview with atotal of 12 parents and course leaders. The interviews were transcribed andcontent analyzed. The study showed that parents and course leadersconsidered goal attainment scaling as a rewarding approach.

Bakgrund:I samband med utvärdering efter främre korsbandsoperation (acl-operation) finns det en diskrepans mellan funktionella tester och upplevd knäfunktion före uttröttning. Få studier finns där effekten av fysisk uttröttning utvärderas avseende idrottares upplevda knäfunktion. Syfte:Syftet med denna studie var att i samband med återgång till idrott 6-12 månader efter acl-operation, utvärdera om tillit till knäet, förmåga att ta i samt hopprestation skiljer sig mellan opererat ben och icke-opererat ben före och efter kortintensiv generell uttröttning. Metod:18 personer mellan 17-48 år (9 män och 9 kvinnor), vilka 6-12 månader innan testtillfället hade genomgått primär unilateral acl-rekonstruktion, deltog i studien. Vid ett och samma tillfälle genomfördes tre funktionella hopptester på respektive ben; trippelhopp, triple crossoverhopp samt sidohopp. Testerna genomfördes både före och efter kortintensiv generell uttröttning. Inför samt efter varje hopptyp och både före och efter uttröttning, skattade försökspersonerna sin tillit och förmåga att ta i genom VAS-skattning. Resultat:Hopplängd/prestation samt förmåga att ta i var sämre i det opererade än i det icke-opererade benet, utom för sidohoppet.

AbstractThe aim of this present study was to investigate whether there is a relationship between birth order and the personality trait narcissism using 181 individuals from Finnveden High School in Värnamo (115 females, 60 males, mean age 17, sd=0,94), in the context of the proposal of Sulloway (1996) that personality is influenced by the specialized nich-es siblings adopt in the quest for access to parental resources. A questionnaire which in-cludes Narcissistic Personality Inventory test, Birth order test and also Rosenberg?s self-esteem test in order to investigate if it might has an impact on narcissistic personality trait, was used. Results showed that there was no significant relationship between birth order and narcissism, however, a significant relationship between narcissism and self-esteem was found. Furthermore, there was a significant relationship between narcissism and the individual?s relationship with the mother.

Akutmottagningar idag får ofta in barn som behöver opereras akut. Personalen på akutmottagningen ställs då inför en situation där de inte hinner informera och förbereda barnet på vad som ska ske. Detta kan skapa en otillräcklighetskänsla hos anestesisjuksköterskorna på operation som därmed får ta hand om ett barn som inte är förberett på vad som kommer att hända. Att skapa förtroende hos barnet är en process som inte kan skyndas på och kräver mycket tid ända från första mötet med barnet. Denna studie vill belysa vad anestesisjuksköterskorna baserar sina val och strategier på i detta möte.

I skollagen (SFS 2010:800) finns beskrivet ?Alla ska, oberoende av geografisk hemvist och sociala och ekonomiska förhållanden, ha lika tillgång till utbildning i skolväsendet om inte annat följer av särskilda bestämmelser i denna lag? (8§). Likvärdigheten i svensk skola har fallit sedan slutet av 1980-talet och en betydande andel elever går ut grundskolan utan att klara de grundläggande nationella målen. Skillnaderna mellan elevernas resultat i svenska kommuner är märkbart stora. Forskning visar att det finns många faktorer, såväl interna som externa, vilka påverkar elevernas skolresultat.
