Vi utforskar begreppet upplevelseekonomi och hur vi har hamnat i vad en del forskare anser vara Upplevelsesamhället. Ett samhälle där de basala behoven är uppfyllda och där vi söker minnesvärda och självförverkligande upplevelser.Vi har valt att studera tidigare forskning och presenterar delar av det vi har läst i ett inledande teoriavsnitt. Därefter observerar vi ett par upplevelserelaterade hotell för att se hur teorin kan se ut i verkliga pågående projekt. De hotell vi valt att titta närmare på är Icehotel i Jukkasjärvi samt Såstaholm i Täby. Vårt sätt att arbeta blir deduktivt, där vi utgår från befintliga begrepp och teorier för att kunna dra logiska slutsatser.Befintlig teori i upplevelseekonomi samt iakttagelser av två existerande hotell för upplevelser gav oss grunden till hur vi utformade vårt hotell i Östhammar med upplevelsetema ? Hotell Badjäflar.

Målet är att skapa förståelse kring physically based rendering och hur denna tekniken kan komma att påverkar en 3D-grafikers arbete. För att undersöka problemområdet skapades en virtuell miljö i 3D med hjälp av physically based rendering. Arbetsupplevelsen jämfördes senare med det tidigare arbetssättet. Undersökningen beskriver tidigare arbetsätt och hur arbetet har ändrats med physically based rendering.

The aim of this study has been to see what the Ajvide location and its surroundings mighthave been used as. The author is going to compare a couple of sites, Stora Förvar, Snausarve, Bjerges and Ajvide, and see if these sites might have some connection to each other. Thesesites are going to be studied and see what they might have been used as, maybe a burialground or a settlement..

Efterfrågan och tillhandahållandet av platsberoende tjänster blir allt större vilket i sin tur skapar intresse för billiga och skalbara tekniker i alla möjliga olika miljöer. Särskilt intressant blir tekniker som är lätta att installera på nya platser och vars hårdvarukomponenter är enkla och billiga. I denna rapport presenteras en experimentiell systemteknisk metod för positionsberäkning i inomhusmiljöer, specifikt de som på grund av lokala elektromagnetiska fält, rörliga större föremål eller oregelbundna ytor skapar störningar som gör det svårt att utföra förlitlig positionering. Systemet utgörs av ett antal wifi-routrar samt en signalmottagre kopplad till en dator med systemets mjukvarukomponent installerad. Resultatet bedömdes utifrån en förväntad nivå av korrekthet, närmare bestämt att minst hälften av systemets bedömningar inte har fel med mer än två meter, samt en övre gräns på högst tre meters fel i minst 90 procent av fallen.

In this Bachelor thesis I explore sound and room as elements in design of user interfaces, both theoretical and practical in a specific application domain, to identify some of the advantages and disadvantage associated with these elements. As application domain I studied email clients and their usage at home amongst students at Blekinge Institute of Technology. In the study I found an activity, which seems to be highly distributed in the physical room where the user is located. The activity was notification of email and could take place in an arbitrary location of the home. I then augmented this activity with ideas from my theoretical assumption about room and sound. The result was a rule-based agent for notification of email, which primarily uses sound as interaction style..

This paper deals with how people use public libraries. An attempt is made to distinguishbetween different user groups on the basis of how they use the library. The roles of thelibrary in relation to its users are also discussed.The paper is based on a user study with the cooperation of 195 users. The user studywas carried out at the Public Library of Alingsås 1994. As material for comparisonsimilar studies from Sweden, but even from Denmark, have been used.

How can the object based art help us, as viewers and as makers, to access a supplanted emotional state?One way of positioning yourself within the corpus-field is to step outside the traditional borders of the field and aim for other values within the objects, such as a visible working process, a storytelling or an emotional relationship to the object.  It is a way of taking a step from the traditional silversmithing towards some kind of free undefined corpus-art.  To reach for suppressed feelings is one way to find an importance within the artistic work, to give it a purpose.By investigating the concept of the sublime and the surrealist movement I try to find examples on how you, both as a viewer and as a maker, can put yourself in an emotional/intuitive state.  Through interviews with Jewellery and corpus artists I get a maker?s perspective which I compare with my own reactions to their work.Works of art can be used as a catalyst to reach, and maybe also to process, unattended feelings. This creates a strong emotional connection to the work.  As a maker you can, for example, do this by working with it as a theme, or by using an intuitive working method.

Denna uppsats baseras på en undersökning där en jämförelse gjorts mellan serie- och filmformatet. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om kombinationen av bild och ord i serieformat kan användas som informationsbärare för till exempel elektroniska medier. Samt att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar användarens upplevelse utifrån en presentation via serie- ochfilmformatet. Frågor som ställs i studien är hur serieformatet upplevs som bärare i kommunikationssyfte, och vilka faktorer som påverkar användarens upplevelse av serie- och filmformatet.För studien valdes en kvalitativ metod i form av semistrukturerade intervjuer. För den jämförelse undersökningen baserades på valdes en instruktionsfilm som visar hur en hjärtstartare fungerar.

My aim with the experience-based essay is that I want to explore the implications of mathematics on children's development. I also want to examine my approach in relation to the various mathematical tasks. Why do we think that mathematics is important for pre-school children? What does the research say about how the teacher is thinking about mathematics? Can the teacher combine playing and learning and create meaningful moments and activities related to mathematics? I also want to explore our policies and the objectives that the teacher should relate to. What is required of me as a teacher in order to meet those goals?My essay is about mine and my boss?s view of the mathematical tasks that I usually perform in the preschool.

This qualitative study examines how emergency people are framed in Swedish evening-, and local newspapers during the forest fire in Va?stmanland, Sweden 2014. The study also includes if there is any difference between the framing due to the location of the newspaper. The study is based on qualitative text analysis. The theoretical basis is representation, framing theory, media image, media logic and a few conceptions from crisis communication theory.

The third most common conifer in Sweden is Pinus contorta (lodgepole pine). It originates from the western part of North America and was brought here in the end of the 1920s. The lodgepole pine is today allowed for commercial plantations in central and northern Sweden, excluding high altitude locations. Since 1979 only plantations with scientific purpose are allowed in south-central and south Sweden. This document is focused on how lodgepole pine manage perform compared with Pinus sylvestris (Scots pine) in the southernmost part of Sweden, Götaland. The idea came from the fact that the Swedish government is evaluating a notification from the National Forest Agency that suggests lodgepole pine to be allowed for commercial plantation even in southern Sweden.
