The purpose is to share knowledge and find ways to learn about the natural systems and how to co-operate in the work of preserving the natural resources and developing different processes for a sustainable development. Many scientists? today stress the importance that ecosystem resilience is promoted by biodiversity conservation and that we need to find solutions for local ecosystem management practices.This essay aims to find theoretical approaches and perspectives that can be used in a wider framework to study co-operative processes between the local (agent) and regional (structure) level.

Inte en svarting till : En kvantitativ innehållsanalys av stereotyper inom svensk sportjournalistik.

Lek är ett ord som enligt forskare är svårt att definiera. Den går dock att förklara som ett ursprungligt och omedelbart fenomen i alla människors liv som är tydligast under barnåren. Leken kan tolkas som en inre drift hos barn som startar av sig självt utan att barnet behöver anstränga sig. Det är dock viktigt med vuxnas närvaro och stöd för att leken skall kunna utvecklas hos barnen på ett framgångsrikt sätt. Forskning visar att förskollärare anser att leken hjälper barn att utveckla sin identitet, empatiska förmåga, normer, värderingar och attityder.

Inkluderingens bryderier : En kvalitativ studie om fotbollsföreningars arbete med inkludering av barn och ungdomar med funktionsnedsättning

The aim of this study was to understand how three selected football associations in three counties in Sweden work to include children and adolescents with disability in the age of 7-20 in their organization.  For this study we have used a qualitative method. The data have been collected through using semi-structured interviews with coaches and representatives from the board. When analyzing the data, we used Charles Tilly's theory Durable Inequality and research within the area of inclusion within sports, the significance of activities and the inequality within sports. The conclusions of the study showed that there was a stated lack of knowledge in the associations when it comes to their work with young people with disabilities and also in their work with the policies.

Världens mest jämställda sport? : En studie av hur kvinnliga och manliga dressyrryttare omtalas av expertkommentatorer i tävlingssammanhang

In all equestrian sports except for individual voltige, men and women compete on equal terms, which otherwise is very rare in sports. This study examines from a gender perspective how female and male riders are reffered to by expert commentators in competitions. The aim is to see if there are differences in how the riders are depicted and mentioned based on gender. The material consists of comments about eight rides, four performed by female riders and four by male riders, from two large international world cup competitions in dressage, broadcasted on SVT in 2012 and 2013. The material has been transcribed and then analyzed using content analytic method with a quantitative and a qualitative part.

Purpose: The purpose with this study is to clarify what importance a co-occurrence event can have on a smaller town, and also what positive and negative consequences it can have on the town seen from a social, economic and political aspect. I will also look at what magnitude the festival have on the local commercial and industrial life and how it affects those who live there. I will also determent how the moving of the festival might come and affect the local businesses, the local population and the community it-self.Method: I will thorough-out this study work with qualitative research methodology. I will there-for process the empirical data that will be collected and used for this study from a qualitative research methodology point of view. I will likewise go through with two deep-going interviews with people well familiar with the subject to increase and strengthen the validity of my study.

?Alla blir inte fotografer?: En studie av bildjournalistiken på Sydsvenska Dagbladet Snällposten och Skånska Dagbladet

Genom vår forskning ville vi ta reda på om, och i så fall hur den pågående deprofessionaliseringen av bildjournalistiken kan ha någon påverkan på den tekniska kvaliteten på bilderna som publiceras i Skånska Dagbladet och Sydsvenska Dagbladet Snällposten. Forskningen grundar sig i Gunnar Nygrens (2008b) teorier om professionalisering och deprofessionalisering. För att kunna få svar på våra frågeställningar genomfördes en metodutveckling ta fram ett systematiskt tillvägagångssätt som vi kunde använda för att dels analysera upphovsmakare och storlek på bilderna, men också kategorisera den tekniska kvaliteten på bilderna utifrån exponering, vitbalans och skärpa. Detta kompletterades med intervjuer med beslutsfattare på de båda tidningarna.I den kvantitativa undersökningen visade det sig att Skånska Dagbladets bilder till en högre grad var avvikande på någon eller flera av de punkter som undersöktes för att fastställa kvaliteten på bilderna. Den tekniska kvaliteten var också något som diskuterades i våra intervjuer.

All inclusive travel has become a popular way to travel abroad. When tourists pay for everything in advance their need for contact with the local people will be reduced. The consequences of this can be dissatisfaction from the local people as they are left out and do not share the financial benefits created by tourism. During the purchasing cycle of an all inclusive travel, it is possible that the tour operator can influence a sustainable development.The aim of this paper is to compare how a large and a small tour operator in their purchase of all inclusive holidays interacts with local players to create sustainable development, thereby creating a surplus value to the customer. The hypothesis is that the amount of knowledge and application of this knowledge regarding sustainable development differs in the purchase process between large and small tour operators.This paper was carried out as a case study.

Ett flytande paradis? : En studie om hur tropiska öar framställs i svenska resemagasin

This is a study about how Swedish travel magazines write about tropical islands with a history of colonization. The study investigates how the islands of Mauritius, the Seychelles, Haiti, the Maldives, the Dominican Republic, Aruba, Zanzibar and Guadeloupe are being portrayed in four Swedish travel magazines.Travel articles published in the travel magazines Vagabond, Allt om Resor, Res and Escape 360° during the period January 2004 to December 2009 have been analyzed through critical discourse analysis.The study concludes that the travel magazines tend to idealize and aestheticize the tropical islands. The islands are being presented as paradises on earth. They are described as fairy tales, magical, dreams and as playgrounds for Westerners. The inhabitants of the tropical islands are being judged by how well they attend to the tourists? needs and wishes.

Questions: What is the association between the performance on horizontal jumps and skating 10 meters standing start among students in Swedish ice hockey high schools? What is the association between the performance on horizontal jumps and skating 10 meters flying start among students in Swedish ice hockey high schools?MethodStudents at three ice hockey high schools in the Stockholm area participated in the study. Two schools were national approved sports educations and one at lower level. All 50 students (41 at national approved sports educations and 9 lower level) that were included in the study were men and went year one and two in gymnasium.

The gross motor skills and coordinative skills are the solid ground for sports and other health activities. If not developing their gross motor skill children tends to avoid taking part in games and sports. The benefits of sports and outdoor activities such as social and health benefits can therefore be missed.
