There is an increased pressure for firms to provide the financial market with additional information. Such disclosure is attached with different kinds of costs. In spite of these costs, and in spite of increased mandatory disclosures, firms choose to voluntary disclosure financial information to analysts and others. This indicates that firms also benefit from providing additional information. The subjects of this study is 431 annual reports from firms listed at the Stockholm Stock Exchange for 2002 and 2005 and the objective is to survey factors that can explain variations in firms? voluntary disclosure.

The Swedish coastal defence took on a whole new meaning after the introduction of the coastal artillery in 1902. The establishment of the coastal artillery meant that the Swedish military had access to a whole new military branch, in addition to the Army and the Navy. Under the direction of one general, two regiments were established. One in Vaxholm and the second in the naval city of Karlskrona. The aim of this essay is to investigate how the Costal Artillery were established, by analyzing the parliamentary of the year 1901.

Syftet med denna studie var att klargöra eventuellt samband mellan nutrition och trycksår genom att söka svar på de tre frågorna: Har nutritionen någon betydelse för uppkomst och läkning av trycksår? Vilka näringsämnen behövs för att förhind-ra uppkomsten och främja läkningen av trycksår? Finns de något samband mellan malnutrition och/eller ätsvårigheter och trycksår? Metoden för denna litteraturstu-die innefattade systematisk databassökning och manuell sökning av artiklar från referenslistor. Tio vetenskapliga artiklar med kvantitativ forskning i ämnet har analyserats och sammanställts. Resultatet presenteras i följande fyra tema: Nutri-tionens betydelse, energiintagets betydelse, vitaminers och mineralers betydelse samt bifynd. The problem presented in this report is that of finding a method to calculate the lift force from a single-element airfoil of arbitrary shape. A number of restrictions are used in order to simplify calculations while retaining reasonable accuracy. The problem is solved for the two-dimensional case only and no finite-wing effects are taken into account. Furthermore, inviscid and incompressible flow is assumed. The method used to solve the problem is the vortex panel method, with vortex singularities distributed over simplified airfoil geometry.

This thesis is based on a case study of the City of Stockholm. The study aims to explore the effects on the city's large investments caused by the public reform. Furthermore, the question concerns the character of the impact and if it will affect what type of investments that will be prioritized. The theoretical background is based on Brunsson's ideas about political organizations shifting towards corporate nature, and Almqvist's interpretation of New Public Management (NPM).
