Kroniska sjukdomar har ökat dramatiskt i världen under senare år. Personerna som drabbas upplever många förluster som kan innebära att de tappar kontrollen över sitt liv och får en känsla av inkapacitet. Att drabbas av kronisk obstruktiv lungsjukdom påverkar människan i det dagliga livet. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva personers upplevelse av att leva med kronisk obstruktiv lungsjukdom. Sökningar efter artiklar skedde i databaserna Cinahl och Medline.

Nearly 50 years after the building of the first million programme neighbourhoods many Swedish municipalities faces an extensive restoration work in these neighbourhoods which during their relatively short lifetime have acted as a target for a large amount of criticism. Öster in Gävle is a million programme neighbourhood that has gone through an extensive restoration between 2001-2009 with the aim of improving the living environment. Improvements have been made in the outdoor environment, to the facades of the houses and the entrances? of each building. The purpose of this study has been to investigate the effects of the renewal in the physical outdoor environment for those who live in the neighbourhood.

A crisis is something that can happen to all of us in an unexpected situation, and the school should be prepared in a way that is the best way to handle a situation with a wide foundation through a crisis plan. On a well-defined way, you should have a developed and relevant emergency plan. Defining the word crisis can be difficult, it is an individual interpretation, and to get found out what the word stands for and it have to be discussed. The two selected schools that I have chosen to interview have discussed the understanding of the word crisis in able to get what the word means for them. The two selected schools have come to the conclusion that a crisis is something that creates disturbances for people or a person concerned to the everyday way of living.

Detta projekt handlar om hur vi kan bo nära varandra i en stad och samtidigt ha tydliga gränser kring de ytor vi delar. Var möts vi i staden? Var är vi tillsammans i bostaden? När övergår den privata sfären till gemensam?Kommunikationen i dagens bostadshus har reducerats till minsta möjliga vilket helt tar över dess utformning. Att istället se denna som en social yta har potential att skapa ett levande atmosfär där mer privata funktioner delas med kommunikationen. Delandet handlar också om de saker vi har i hemmet, är delning av kökmaskiner och städredskap ett möjligt sätt att spara energi? Hur kan vi bygga för att främja detta?I processen har jag försökt definiera vad som skapar ett attraktivt boende i stadskontext och se hur detta går att applicera i morgondagens Stockholm.

Sjukdomen Fibromyalgi är vanlig bland kvinnor och innebär symtom som bland annat kronisk och utbredd smärta samt trötthetssyndrom där behandlingen går ut på att lindra symtomen. Fibromyalgi är lågprioriterad inom hälso- och sjukvården och möts fortfarande av en viss skepticism. Detta gör att patienter med denna sjukdom riskerar att känna sig misstrodda och kränkta när de söker hjälp. Därför är det viktigt att sjuksköterskan skapar en bra vårdrelation för att inte kränka patientens värdighet. Fibromyalgi kan leda till en förändrad livsvärld, vilket gör att det är viktigt att få en ökad förståelse för denna patientgrupp.

The purpose of this study is to examine whether there is any connection between working hours, desired working hours and the worker ?s health. The study also aims to investigate if there are any differences over time. Earlier studies have shown that individuals need a balance in their life between worked hours and free time. This balance seems to be important for employees if they want to lead and remain a healthy lifestyle.

In Sweden, the eutrophication of lakes, water courses and the coastal areas is considered the major threat to aquatic ecosystems and therefore actions taken to reduce the nutrient load to aquatic system including the Baltic Sea has high priority. There are many different sources of phosphorous and nitrogen and domestic wastewater is one contributing factor to the high load. Especially waste water from households that is not connected to municipal sewage treatment or a local small scale plant with appropriate nutrient removal efficiency is considered a problem. These types of households are quite common in rural areas in Sweden and in areas where summer houses has been converted to permanent living. Swedish legislation now permit the municipalities to decide in which areas within the municipality higher demands of the local small scale treatment facility should be met by the households (i.e.

BAKGRUND: KOL är en sjukdom som drabbar allt fler personer världen över och anses bli den tredje vanligaste dödsorsaken i världen år 2020. Det finns inget botemedel mot KOL men genom omfattande omvårdnad kan patienten och anhöriga uppleva välbefinnande trots sjukdomen. Andningssvårigheterna påverkar patientens vardagliga liv och livskvalitet negativt både psykiskt och fysiskt. SYFTE: Syftet med denna studie var att belysa hur sjuksköterskor kan underlätta vid andningssvårigheter för patienter med sjukdomen KOL med utgångspunkt från både patienters önskemål och sjuksköterskors erfarenheter. METOD: Studien var en litteraturöversikt baserad på redan vetenskapligt framforskat datamaterial.

We are living in network society, where information and communication together with the technical development stands in the centre. Characteristic for network society is quick changes, new meaning of time and space, convergence and new possibilities of communication. Network society contains new technical developments, several with thepurpose to improve the possibilities of communication between human beings, which in some ways creates new social demands and expectations. In this study, I focus on the Internet, which is an important channel for the information, communication and marketing in network society. As whole network society, the Internet is constantly developing.This study, implemented with qualitative interviews, has the purpose to give new, deep and interesting knowledge about business to business companies? communication and marketing on the Internet.

In this work a new design for S:t Erik?s square in Uppsala is being proposed. The square is situated in the middle of the city, surrounded by historical buildings. Today the square is a parking lot. The aim of the design proposal is to promote life and activity of pedestrians and cyclists.

Background:Chronic heart failure (CHF) is a complex clinical condition. The higher survival rate after heart attack and other heart diseases, plus aging population, has led to more CHF patients. Symptoms can have negative impact on exercise capacity, ability to perform activities of daily living and quality of life. Heart failure clinics have been established to help better quality of life. Helping to stabilize and maintain patients´ health can reduce the need of hospital admission.

During the later part of the 20th century the amount of children and adolescents in Sweden who reported psychosomatic illness have greatly increased. The main reason is estimated to relate to weak resources in school and school healthcare. Increased resources do not always have to encompass investments for school and school healthcare. Other resources play an important part as well. A child?s domestic situation serves as one of those resources where fundamental knowledge and values are set.

Background: Overweight and obesity has become an increasing health issue around the world, which leads to an increase of cardiovascular diseases. The reason for this is a lack of physical activity in combination with an overconsumption of unhealthy food. In the primary healthcare is the ordination of physical activity on prescription offered as a treatment, which is an important health preventive action. When clients get physical activity on prescription they are given the opportunity to receive health counseling as a way to motivate a change in an unhealthy way of living.Objectives: This study aim to examine the experience of the health counseling of individuals with overweight related problems, in combination with the prescription of physical activity.Method: Qualitative interviews were chosen as method. Nine individuals participated in the study, seven females and two males, who had been to health counseling at Friskvården in Värmland.

There are many good reasons to ponder about what it is that makes life worth living. To observe and reflect on what it is that gives a person a good quality of life is arguably the essential core of social-work. The aim of this research was to investigate how 15-year old youths interpret quality of life. The key areas that we explored in order to meet the research aims were: what did the youths interpret as a good quality of life for a 15-year old and for an adult, how did they view their own quality of life, and did they think that the regional context (i.e. if one lives in a big city or in a small town) affects how one interpret quality of life.The studywas based on interviews with four boys and four girls.

Vi ville undersöka om begreppet "skälig levnadsnivå" tolkades på likartat Sätt handläggare emellan och Hur bedömningen av vårt Aktuella ärende utfördes. Vår Avsikt Var Att ta reda på om de Beviljade hjälpinsatsernas omfattning skilde sig åt i bedömningarna Mellan Olika handläggare samt om Begreppet är Tillräckligt entydigt för Att tjäna för som Riktlinje en Rättvis bedömning av Människors rätt till bistånd enligt 4 kapitlet 1 § socialtjänstlagen. Studien byggde på Två Frågeställningar: 1) Hur tolkar Olika handläggare begreppet "skälig levnadsnivå" och 2) om begreppet "skälig levnadsnivå" är Tillräckligt entydigt för som Att tjäna Riktlinje för en Rättvis bedömning av Människors rätt till bistånd enligt 4 kapitlet 1 § socialtjänstlagen. Respondenterna i vår undersökning var Fjorton handläggare från Olika kommuner i Sverige som Arbetar med sociala biståndsbedömningar Enligt socialtjänstlagen.
