Inom fältet för översättningsstudier har det traditionellt varit ett angeläget forskningsområde att erhålla kunskap om hur man hanterat samma källtext i olika kulturella kontexter. På våren år 1950 utkom en spansk översättning av den finske författaren Mika Waltaris historiska roman, Sinuhe egyptiläinen (Sinuhe egyptiern), och senare samma år, i Mexiko, nyöversattes verket för Latinamerika som en respons på den första. Föreliggande uppsats är en fallstudie och har genomförts i syfte att undersöka på vilket sätt och varför detta originalverks två översättningar på samma språk skiljer sig åt. Översättningarna har jämförts parallellt med dess källtext och studerats kontrastivt genom en kombination av kvantitativ och kvalitativ analys med hjälp av shift som teoretiskt verktyg. Resultaten av denna fallstudie visar att översättningarna skiljer sig åt i vissa innehållsmässiga aspekter och att dessa skillnader med all sannolikhet härrör från de samhälleliga politiska kontexter där de producerats.

Democracy is a term that has been researched, and still is researched, a lot. In my education to become a teacher it has been the subject that interests me the most and I would like to be able to contribute to this research. The starting point of this essay is that in my experience there is a difference in how the national curriculum describes democracy and how the students I have met describes it. Therefore I wanted to investigate whether this also applies to a wider context than the students that I meet in my everyday life. The purpose of this essay is; to examine whether students in the ninth grade has the same view on democracy as the national means of control. The result I have attained through my work is that they somewhat share the same vision.

Alla barn har olika sätt att lära sig och det behövs därför olika undervisningsmetoder. Estetiskt arbete är vanligt förekommande i de flesta skolor men att använda dans och rörelse som ett verktyg för läs- och skrivinlärning förefaller vara ovanligt. Syftet med den här uppsatsen har varit att undersöka dans och rörelse som undervisningsmetod inom läs och skrivinlärning i förhållande till traditionell läs- och skrivinlärning. De frågeställningar som stått i fokus är: Vilka fördelar respektive nackdelar kan intervjuade klasslärare, för årskurs ett, se med att använda dans och rörelse i läs- och skrivinlärning samt vilka fördelar respektive nackdelar har jag funnit under arbetets gång? Jag har genomfört undervisningsförsök i tre årskurs ett och kvalitativa intervjuer med tillhörande klasslärare.

The number of elderly in society is increasing and therefore the number of people with dementia. They continue to live in their homes longer, which also increases the responsibility of district nurses. The purpose of this study was to describe the experiences of district nurses to care for and have responsibility for the care of people with dementia in home care. The method chosen was a qualitative interview study. The method chosen was a qualitative interview study and content analysis was used for data processing.

Studien berör undervisningen i moderna språk och har ett motivationsperspektiv. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka varför elever blir mer eller mindre motiverade i moderna språkundervisningen och hur läraren ska förhålla sig till eleverna för att motivera dem på bästa sätt. Det är de uppfattningar som elever på grundskolan och på gymnasiet har om språkundervisningen som är det centrala i uppsatsen. Arbetet består av en djupare litteraturstudie som belyser kognitiva motivationsteorier samt forskning kring läraren som reflekterande praktiker. Därtill har tjugo elever intervjuats.

Since the Internet was introduced, it has taken over faster than anyone was ever expected it to do. It has taken over how we, humans, today live our life and is expected to accomplish our errands, such as paying our bills, ordering clothes and looking up information about travelling.With that said it is important to remember and have in thought that not everyone has the knowledge and skills to use the Internet, this because of the extreme development that the Internet brings.As mentioned above there is one group of people that has been called the ?forgotten group? when it comes to the expansion of Internet, and those are the seniors. Most of the seniors today have difficulties using the Internet due to either lack of knowledge or due to the size of the text on the websites, as well as the different color combinations. Since the seniors today have special needs on how to easily use a website, they are forgotten since most websites aren?t developed for seniors.However, sometimes appearances are deceiving and that is what this study has shown us.By questionnaire and interview study, the result of this study has showed us that the majority of the informants do use Internet, but they have special needs when it comes to the design on a website, and that includes color combinations, sizes of the text as well as on how to navigate from one page to another..

Gastric ulcer is a common disease among pigs in the whole world where an intensiveproduction occurs. It is mainly the upper region, the nonglandular region of the stomach thatis affected. Gastric ulceration is a disease with several risk factors. The factor that seems tohave the largest impact on the development of gastric ulceration is a small particle size of thefeed. The reported prevalence of gastric ulceration differs from 5 to 100 % and it is a largeherd-to-herd variation.

Today we live in a world where the demands increase in the aeronautics industry. This creates a situation where no mistakes are allowed about the regulations and for those who are supposed to follow these. Safety comes first, tracking of components, Service Bulletins which are recommendations from the manufactures and Airworthiness Directives which are demands from the authorities, these need to be updated at all time and everything that is done on a aircraft need to be documented.This creates a situation where today maintenance shops need to have full control of all parts of the organization, which creates a need for a working data system.The goal with this exam work is to evaluate the best way to implicate the new bought data system called "System Aircraft Management" on the basis of the needs of Täby Air Maintenance AB. The system are supposed to get started technically and also be implicated to the users of the system. This work will be focused to create a effective working plan to get SAM implicated with no interruption in the daily work.

The liberal state, it has been argued, must be neutral between different conceptions of the good. Embodying ideals such as fairness and impartiality, state neutrality is intuitively appealing, but working as a restraint for state actions it is somewhat unsatisfactory. People make mistakes about their lives and people live less valuable lives than they could do. To then restrain the state from doing as much good as it can seems just as unappealing as neutrality at first seemed appealing. In this paper, a possible solution to this dilemma is presented.

The shopping mall is a reflection of the city and its habitants, a concentrate of the modern city. I have studied the dialogues of malls and the communication within, how malls are put together and what they communicate. The city is constantly changing. As soon as we try to grasp the city, it slips away. My opinion is that city planners and landscape architects need to widen their views. City planning needs to develop to better fit to the changes of our modern cities.

AbstractSyftet med denna studie är att undersöka om det är finns några skillnader mellan det elever skriver för hand och på datorn. Eleverna vill hellre skriva sina skoluppgifter på datorn och betyder det då att eleverna utvecklar sitt skrivande, med att få bättre styckeindelning och fler rättstavade ord? En annan aspekt som också är viktig är om elevernas texter utvecklas när de får respons. Är det någon skillnad mellan hur tjejer och killar skriver? Undersökningen är gjord i en högstadieskola i årskurs 9 under höstterminen 2009 och vårterminen 2010.

Our environment affect us, not least gardens. By practising the ancient Chinese art feng shui, one could find tools how to create harmony and balance in gardens. By paying attention to different energies working with colours, shapes and materials one can create a nice garden with good feng shui. The philosophy, however, includes much more than what plants or what hard materials to choose in the garden. It describes different energies, the movement of energies, which we can learn to live in harmony with.

Portable is a project with its starting point in plastic bags, how they negatively affect our planet and how people´s patterns of behavior and qualities of life are affected when people try to live more envi¬ronmentally friendly. Now we have reached the point when peoples way of living and consuming in the western world has to change. This is nothing new and we can now see that sustainability is start¬ing to get attention in every area.Today plastic bags are used on average for 12 minutes. Only one out of 200 is reused, and then only once . This is not sustainable at all.

The purpose of this study was to examine if there are common factors that lead to young people committing crimes according to professionals in social work, crime prevention and the police. The study also aims to examine if juveniles in Swedish suburbs commit more crimes, the consequences that follows and what actions socialworkers have for these juveniles. The study was conducted through qualitative interviews of five professionals in the area who were contacted from different units. In the analysis Goffmans (1971) theory of stigma was used and Goldberg's (2005) Conspiracy Theory. Some of the conclusions that could be drawn from the study was that there is not only one factor influencing young people to delinquency, but often combinations of different factors that lead to this.

Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att undersöka hur kriminalvårdare beskriver sin arbetssituation i relation till kommunikation och stress och om det finns något samband mellan implementeringen av HOVIK på häktet i Göteborg och minskad stressnivå samt ökade färdigheter i kommunikation. Vi har med en kvalitativ ansats intervjuat fem kriminalvårdare på häktet i Göteborg som är ett av tre säkerhetshäkten i Sverige. Kriminalvårdarnas arbetsuppgifter är bland annat att minska isolering för de häktade och motivera till förändring i livsföringen samt att bibehålla säkerheten. Ansvaret ligger hos kriminalvårdaren att öka förutsättningarna för en god kommunikation mellan personal och häktade. Attityd och bemötande spelar stor roll och påverkar relationen mellan personal och häktade och är avgörande för den respons man får tillbaka.
