The aim of this paper is to investigate who the visitors are at a children's department at amain library in a larger municipality, and for what purpose they use it. We discuss: Is therea difference between various user groups, and if so, how do they differ'? Which library rolesdoes the children's department have? Does the children's department serve as a local libraryfor those who live in the immediate surroundings or as a main library for the whole municipality?The paper is based on a user survey performed in the spring of 1996 at the City Library ofGothenburg. 417 visitors and five staff members were interviewed.The children's department is used by various groups of people, from young children to seniorcitizens. The library roles are, among other things, an independent learning center and formaleducation support center.

Verktygsavdelningen inom Gestamp Hardtech har en lång erfarenhet av utveckling, konstruktion och tillverkning av prototyp- och serieverktyg som sedan används i produktion i Luleå, Haynrode Tyskland, Mason USA och Kunshan Kina. Arbetet kännetecknas av ett tvärfunktionellt tänkande vilket medger ett minimum av ledtid genom användning av gällande datasimuleringar, utveckling,konstruktion samt tillverkning. När en simulering utförs kan olika produktionsstrategier utredas och ger även möjlighet till att se konsekvenser av konstruktionslösningar på verktyget.mSimulering kan ske på befintlig linje eller innan en investering i en ny produktionslinje ska göras. Genom simulering kan problem som annars leder till störningar i produktionen upptäckas. Resultatet av detta examensarbete är ett verktyg i form av två simuleringsmodeller i CAD-systemet I-DEAS NX12.

The purpose of this essay is to shed some light upon the children who grew up in Sweden after their parents fled the war in former Yugoslavia. Did the parents spread their own opinions about the other ethnicities which they fought against in the war to the children, even though they live in a new country? And if so, was it an act of patriotism for the country they once lived in and who was to blame for the war? Did the children who grew up in Sweden share the same attitudes as their parents? To find out about this we used interviews with four people, all with heritage from former Yugoslavia, Bosnia and Croatia. What we found out was that the thoughts from the parents partially were passed down to their children, even though the children thought that they had formed their own opinions. In this case the thoughts didn?t relate to any kind of patriotism or who to blame for the war, they rather believed that they shouldn?t blame the other ethnic groups for the war.

AbstractThis study focuses on three generations of Kurdish women's view on honor. The study is a qualitative research based on three individual interviews. The aim of this study is to examine how three generations of immigrant women from a culture of honor is influenced over time by the majority culture and its values together with how these women affect each other mutually both consciously and unconsciously within the family. The study is based on two questions: What does"honor" mean to the three generations of women who are Muslim and Kurdish? Did these three generations of women?s idea of honor change over time as they have lived in Sweden? Results of this study have shown that the concept of honor has its focus on the woman's body, sexuality and chastity.

Val av sparform vid ägande i aktier har blivit allt mer aktuellt sedan det år 2012 infördes en ny sparform. Beskattningsskillnader mellan de tre nuvarande sparformerna har lett till konfunderade och osäkra aktieägare. Att optimalt val av sparform beror på ett flertal föränderliga och individuella faktorer gör att ett generellt och entydigt svar saknas.Denna rapport ska på uppdrag av ett mindre förvaltningsföretag med anledning av ovanstående, ta fram ett matematiskt verktyg vilket illustrativt ska rekommendera val av sparform utifrån olika antaganden. Rekommendationerna ska leda till att aktieportföljens avkastning efter skatt maximeras. Vidare ska rekommendationer kring implementation av den matematiska modellen i företagets verksamhet ges, där fokus ligger på ökat kundvärde.Modellen som togs fram kan utefter aktieägarens förväntade årsavkastning, förväntad prognos över statslåneräntan, placeringshorisont samt individuellt courtage rekommendera vilken sparform som ska väljas, samt när och till vilken sparform ett byte ska ske, för att därigenom maximera avkastningen efter skatt, givet att byte av sparform enbart tillåts vid årsskiftet.

Sweden has a long and extensive wind band tradition. Today the interest for the traditional instruments is decreasing among children and teenagers. What can this be due to? Which conditions are needed for a functional wind band in the future? The purpose of this essay is to find answers to these questions and at the same time shed light on good examples, where the wind band activity works. To be able to answer the questions have I made four interviews with persons who have a big knowledge and interest about the subject.

Detta kallas för systemets datalager.Det är inte ovanligt att en stor del av programmerarnas tid går åt för att skriva programkod som hanterar datalagrets egenheter och för att transformera data mellan applikationen och datalagret.I ett objektorienterat datalager kan systemets domänmodell integreras i datalagret så att det blir betydligt enklare och mer effektivt att arbeta med. Ett objektorienterat datalager låter dessutom applikationen navigera mellan objekten i databasen som om hela objektgrafen vore tillgänglig i applikationens primärminne. Hur information hämtas, när den hämtas och precis vilken information som hämtas från databasen är transparent för applikationen.Det är också transparent när uppdateringar som görs på objekt i applikationens primärminne når den underliggande databasen. Datalagret ger garantin att alla objekt, som förändrats inom loppet av en transaktion och som är nåbara via navigering från något objekt i databasen, kommer att finnas i databasen med korrekt tillstånd då transaktionen avslutas.Ett objektorienterat datalager erbjuder således en striktare form av abstraktion än vad ett traditionellt datalager gör.Inom ramen för examensarbetet har jag utvecklat en prototyp av ett objektorienterat datalager, och i den här rapporten presenterar jag: några allmänna koncept som rör datalager i allmänhet och objektorienterade datalager i synnerhet; hur dessa koncept kan designas; samt en kort översikt av prototypen..

Our social lives and where we live shape our choices in life. One of those choices is which party we vote for in the general election. The aim of this thesis is to see if there are any connections between the Swedish general election of 2010, demography, socioeconomic factors and geography. This is done with regression analysis and chosen variables. Another aim is to see where in Sweden the chosen variables aren?t enough to explain the results of the election.

Abstract- Stress, conformity, groups and self-worth in high-school girlsThe aim of this questionnaire-survey was to investigate the experience of stress and symptomsof stress in high-school girls, and to examine if the experienced symptoms of stress could bepredicted by groups, self-worth and conformity. Another purpose of this study was to describethe girls own thoughts concerning these factors. 80 girls between the ages of 15-18 yearsanswered the questionnaire. The results showed that stress could be predicted by theexperience of conformity, but not by the experience of belonging to a group and self-worth.The most common symptoms of stress were tiredness, problems to concentrate and headache.The girls reported that they thought that girls of their own age were ?slutty and cocky?, andthey thought that it was important to look good, but at the same time many girls were happyabout themselves and they had realised that they had to live with who they are.Keywords: high-scool girls, stress, groups, self-worth, conformity.

I denna uppsats så ställs frågan om det går att effektivisera dagens PA-teknik. Detta på ett sätt som gynnar tekniker, musiker och mindre band. Undersökningen som genomfördes innefattade en litteraturundersökning och flertalet intervjuer med personer som på olika sätt arbetar med ljud och musik i livesammanhang.Resultaten visar att det går att effektivisera PA-tekniken mer än vad som görs idag. I och medden digitala teknikens introducerande så underlättas både teknikers och musikers jobb. Den traditionella multikabeln kan ersättas med varianter baserade på Ethernet.

The purpose of this essay was to find out what alcoholics themselves mean were the way out of their drinking abuse.The questions at stake are:· What kind of context did the interviewed live in before and after the turning point?· How did the process of getting out of the alcohol abuse look like?· What different factors may have influenced the turning point, the maintenance and the interviewee's choice to stop the abuse of alcohol?· Where there any other important occurrences that may have had an impact on their decision to stop drinking?For the investigation we have interviewed three women and five men. They all have had sever problems with alcohol, but all of them also have found a way out of the abuse.Our research shows that the way out of alcohol abuse is very complex and individual. The turning point is rather a process than a single occurrence. Our research also shows that the interaction between the alcohol and important individuals in their immediate surroundings are the absolute most important factor to stop using alcohol in a destructive way but also important when it comes to maintaining soberness..

Vi lever i en värld där mjukvaror spelar en allt större del i vårt vardagliga liv. Nya mjukvaror utvecklas ständigt, och de blir allt mer omfattande och komplexa. Komplexiteten i dagens mjukvaror gör att stora system inte helt kan förstås av en person. Objektorientering, komponenter och högnivåspråk är några av de tekniker som programmerare förlitar sig på för att kunna hantera stora mängder av information. Visualiseringar används idag i ganska liten utsträckning för att förenkla utvecklingsarbetet av mjukvara, vilket är konstigt då människans hjärna är starkt visuellt orienterad.

Can meditation aid in a situation of conflict? This paper answers that question.The reason I chose to examine this topic is due to own positive experiences that convinced me of the link between meditation and conflict resolution. I wish to bring more light on this topic and to faciliate further research within the area.Through analyzing material on meditation, meditation and emotion and emotion and conflict, I find here that some of the effects of meditation has a positive effect on our emotions and also that we can work through meditation to learn about the way we act on our emotions and also how we can learn to act to our advantage. I also show how emotions play a vital role in conflicts between individuals and groups and that it is most urgent that we use what means we have to work conflict to our best use. I believe that conflict has it?s place in society and that good things can come from it, but that we can work with the conflict so that it does not escalate out of proportion.

Harnosand has a big historic heritage as one of the first cities in the north part of Sweden, centre of the church and education city. The incrising centralisation of Sweden and the globalication of the world have made north of Sweden to the backside of Sweden.The coun- tryside and the smaller cities don ?t live anymore. In Harnosand is big moving out and many empty spaces. In the middle of Harnosand next to Nattviken, is one of these empty spaces. This empty space next to the road of E4, that leads out in the world and Europa.
