Ljud i dataspelsproduktion - Att ljudlägga spel
Det här arbetet grundar sig i vårt exjobb som var att ljudlägga ett spel. Som musikproducenter hade vi länge intresserat oss för spelbranschen som en bransch i expansion som kan ge arbetsmöjligheter. Rapporten går igenom hur vår arbetsprocess sett ut vid ljudläggningen samt lite allmänna begrepp om spelljud. Vi förklarar också hur ljudmotorn och scriptspråket den använder fungerar. Utifrån följande frågeställningar har vi format rapporten: Vilka kunskaper behövs för att ljudlägga ett spel? Hur kan våra erfarenheter som musikproducenter bidra i ljudläggningsprocessen?Det vi kom fram till är att det nya arbetssätten i spelbranschen underlättar för ljudläggare och gör oss som musikproducenter kvalificerade för detta jobb.

My purpose with this thesis has been to find out how to choreograph a fight sequence in ananimated movie. With the help of professional stuntmen and dancers, I have tried to findmethods and techniques used on stage and in live-action film and apply those to animatedfilms. To successfully identify the techniques used, I conducted a number of interviews andanalyzed literature that deals with the subject of fight choreography. By the analysis of themethods provided by the choreographers and selected parts of the literature, I have compiled anumber of steps I recommend 3D animators should to take in their efforts to create their ownfight choreography..
Utvärdering av grafisk utvecklingsmiljö för programmering av signalprocessor
This work aims to evaluate the possibility of using a graphical programming language to develop software for a digital signal processor. A fixed-point digital signal processor called Blackfin BF-537 is used for this. Instead of using conventional programming languages, like C or assembler, for software development the possibilities to use a graphical environment to fill the same purpose are examined. The development environment primarily used is NI LabVIEW, but also the use of Mathworks Matlab Simulink is investigated. A variety of programs consisting of various signal processing operations and utilities are developed using these development environments.

Icke-verbalt ledarskap i klassrummet : En studie i hur läraresicke-verbala ledarskap påverkar eleverna och klassrumsmiljön
Syftet med studien är att belysa på vilket sätt lärares icke - verbala ledarskap kan påverka kommunikationen med eleverna och den miljö de befinner sig i. I studien har observationer och intervjuer genomförts med två erfarna pedagoger. För att läraren ska lyckas skapa en god klassrumsmiljö och få med sig eleverna i undervisningen krävs att läraren lyckas skapa förtroendefulla relationer med eleven. Lärarens engagemang, skicklighet i att använda sitt kroppspråk och planering av miljön i klassrummet är faktorer som påverkar elevers lärande. Om eleverna känner förtroende i sin lärandemiljö, att de är en del i den ökar förtroendet för läraren, vilket i sin tur bidrar till goda resultat..

We are heading towards a huge switch of how energy is produced with fossil fuels being replaced by renewable energy sources. It is not difficult to replace the energy you use in the house and there is no need for futuristic technology. There are already many established products on the market such as high efficiency vacuum solar collectors, heat pumps & small wind power stations that can supply the energy being used in a house. The company Sol & Energiteknik SE AB in Huskvarna has many different products which can reduce the need for an outside energy distributor. An average house in Sweden uses 15 000 kWh for heating, 5000 kWh for tap water and 5000 kWh for electricity.

The aim of this study was to examine the view of social service workers on the secondary housing market based upon their work with social investigations regarding people with a difficult substance abuse. The foundation of this study rests upon a phenomenon, which according to other scholars, occurs in the secondary housing market in Sweden. The secondary housing market consists of a multitude of housing projects that social services provide for people who are homeless. The phenomenon is that the secondary housing market contains a number of demands aimed at the clients who live in these housing projects. If a client fails to live up to the demands it can sometimes lead to negative consequences which results in an exclusion from the housing projects.

This study compares the sample variance of the mean in a simple random sample (SRS) and a systematic sample from a surface. The study also compares the prediction error variance in a SRS and systematic sample from a random field. Recommendations are presented on which method to use in the clearance and exemption process in the nuclear industry. The results indicate that quadratic systematic sampling outperformed SRS in most instances and proved to be especially efficient in the presence of a long-ranged covariance function and high sampling intensity (i.e. short distances between observations).

Arbetet syftar till att undersöka hur felsökning inom programmering används i undervisningen på gymnasiet och vilket stöd som finns i styrdokument och kurslitteratur. En stor del av elevernas tid går åt till felsökning, ändå tycks det inte angripas som ett eget moment i undervisningen. Undersökningen grundar sig på två intervjuer med vardera två gymnasielärare och har bearbetats utifrån en kvalitativ metod samt studier av kurslitteratur och styrdokument. Under den andra intervjun presenterades ett förslag på en metod för felsökning. Resultatet av undersökningen blev att mycket lite stöd finns i kurslitteraturen trots att det finns som mål i kursplanerna.

This study aims to describe the conditions, of which some youths who live in a segregated area in Sweden, see as important for their development of an identity. The study have been conducted in a manner where we put the youths own words in focus. The youths are in charge of deciding what they regard as important for their own development of their own identity. In this study we assume certain contexts, of which we base the study. These contexts include the society, the urban districts, the school, the family, and the language.

Detta är ett projekt som diskuterar och framställer en arkitektur för dynamisk dialog i dataspel. Den är skapad för att kunna ge mer spelarinteraktion i datarollspel i form av större frihet när det gäller hur en spelare vill spela sin karaktär samtidigt som den även ska ge bättre respons från NPC:er, just i ämnet dialoger.
