För att ta reda på hur svenska mammografiavdelningar står sig mot det europeiska protokollet undersöks nio mammografiavdelningar. Till hjälp har ett CDMAM-fantom version 3.4 och fyra plexiglasskivor använts för att simulera ett normaltjockt bröst. Även ljusskåpen och filmens egenskaper har undersökts och jämförts med kraven i europeiska protokollet. Avgränsningar har gjorts då koncentreringen ligger på mammografer som använder sig av film-skärm system.Röntgenbilderna har studerats utan tekniska hjälpmedel. Efter bedömning och poängsättning av bilderna på CDMAM-fantomet har värdena förts in i ett Excel-program där värdena presenteras i grafer.

Syftet med arbetet är att belysa hur experimentell film kan vara en resurs inom ramen för mediepedagogik för att arbeta med narrativa konstruktioner inom rörlig bild. Konstnären Keren Cytter skapar egensinniga videoverk där dialogen står i fokus på ett närmast teatraliskt sätt men vars historier är svårtillgängliga på grund av uppbrutna berättarstrukturer. En av hennes filmer, Dreamtalk, utgör det här arbetets empiri och undersöks utifrån frågor som har med dess narrativa konstruktion att göra i ett försök att synliggöra olika berättarstrukturer och narrativa begrepp.Metoderna som har använts i arbetet är filmanalys och konstnärlig gestaltning. I filmanalysen har Dreamtalk delats upp efter utvalda narrativa begrepp för att undersöka vad olika delar i filmen består utav. I den konstnärliga gestaltningen har det skapats två filmer.

Religious theater or erotic sculpture? A study of how the sculpture group Ecstasy of Saint Teresaand the Cornaro chapel have been described and used in literature of art history.This study aims to investigate how the sculpture group Ecstasy of Saint Teresa and the Cornarochapel has been written about and presented in literature about art history. The method has been tostudy literature, to visit the Cornaro chapel, and to make comparisons between pictures, texts andown experiences.The questions set out to be answered was; How has the Cornaro chapel and the Ecstasy of SaintTeresa been described and interpreted in literature of art history? What kind of pictures are beingused to illustrate the chapel? What is in focus and what is withheld in the presentation of the chapel,in text and in pictures? Is it possible to see a change, in how art historians write about the Cornarochapel, over time?Reading and comparing the texts and pictures that illustrates the literature, makes visible how thebaroque period, Gianlorenzo Bernini, Teresa av Avila and the Cornaro chapel has been presented inthe chosen literature, and answered the questions.The similarities between the Cornaro chapel and a theater stage, Bernini's interest in the theaterand his devout Catholicism, as well as the Counter-reformation's use of art to reach their goal ofmaking people more devout to Catholicism, is in focus. The erotic overtones in the sculpture groupare being withheld as well as Bernini's personality.

The X-Files (svensk titel Arkiv X) är en TV-serie som producerades mellan 1993-2002. Serien har gått till historien för att fånga tidsandan och dess postmoderna misstro mot myndigheter och intresse för nyandlighet. I ett flertal avsnitt kommer huvudpersonerna i kontakt med den kristna religionen. Uppsatsen undersöker hur olika former av kristendom gestaltas i The X-Files. Frågeställningen berör de bikaraktärer som dyker upp i serien och som kan beskrivas som representationer av kristendomar.

Thavenius (2009:23-122) and Dahl (1999:49-82) explains that literary education in school has gone from, in the 1800s, barely existed on receiving the fairly central location it has today. Fredriksson (2010:2-3) points out that there are several threats to the ancient writers and writings in danger of being forgotten. The purpose with this essay was to examine how to work with literary history in school, and whether and how to work with regional literature history. To fulfill the purpose of this paper three high school teacher in Swedish were interviewed.The survey shows that respondents working in various ways with the history of literature, either in the eras, themes or projects. The perception of what literature and the authors to be affected varies between respondents, particularly the perception of the work about authors from Värmland.

The physical map that has been used until now can in the modern days be replaced with digital maps available in smart phones and tablets. One disadvantage of both is that the digital maps require the user to have a fully functional sight. The problem with the research done so far is that it provides little explanation as to why developers have decided to design the maps in a specific way. This thesis has been designed to address this problem.In order to provide the knowledge needed, a literature study was done to construct interview questions to an employee from SG Access AB. These answers and the literature study were used to construct interview questions to members and employees from Synskadades Riksförbund  (SRF).

The purpose of this essay is to identify how the drug user is portrayed in motion pictures. My main questions are: How is the drug use described? How is the male and female drug user depicted? How may the movies contribute to the construction, reproduction and change of gender? The method I use in my research is a qualitative, selective discourse- analysis of a number of movies prominently portraying drug use. A gender perspective is also applied on this paper.The main result of the study is that I have found that the great majority of the analyzed films portray drug use as means for something else. Drug use is often portrayed in the beginning as heavenly but changes to be depicted as problematic.

Vi har under tio veckor producerat en del av Peter Martinssons film Eve. Vi har stått bakom en stor del av den tekniska biten. Vi har inte deltagit något i idéarbetet och idén bakom filmen, däremot har vi påverkat det visuella resultatet genom att göra stora delar av bakgrundsmaterialet. På så sätt har våra idéer och vår konst fått en stor del i filmen. Genom detta arbete har vi velat utveckla våra kunskaper främst i programmet AliasWavefront Maya, men även rent estetiskt.

Ämnet som jag har undersökt är synen på den avvikande individen i film. I min analys har jag använt mig av David Lynchs The Elephant man (1980) samt Werner Herzogs Kaspar Hauser (1974). Min analys är gjord utefter den hermeneutiska metoden och är således utarbetad efter mina egna tolkningar och reflektioner kring filmerna. Teorierna jag har använt mig av är postkolonialism och makt.I min slutsats har det framgått att det kan vara en mångfald anledningar till hur och varför människor väljer att behandla de avvikande individerna på sättet de gör. Dock så framgår det att de som behandlar de avvikande väl oftast motiverar sina handlingar genom att de finner sympatier för de utsatta.

With self-hypnosis as a method, I work with levels of consciousness in relation to practice. Focus lies in the relation between a language of materials and an inner experience. How do material expressions function as mediums of a spiritual matter between a beholder and me? The trance functions as a space for a spiritual contact/communication. Abstract images of crystalline glaze on ceramic tiles are direct results of these acts.

In this thesis I focus on the artistry and essential work, behind the scenes that storyboard artists have contributed to, since the early days of film history. The works I will focus on are the important phases of pre-planning of feature films and animated films. I theorize on the aspect of what makes a good story and how it is brought to life on the screen, as well as how the story is actually conveyed with this drawings. The hypothesis maintains the importance of storyboards, as well as defining their main purpose. Using a formalistic point of view and historical argumentation, I examine and compare five different directors´ use of storyboards and how their respective collaborative teams (i.e director of photography, production designer and story artists, editors etc) create each film´s particular nuances and cinematic expressions.

Studiens syfte var att ta reda på om elever med invandrarbakgrund får samma förutsättningar att klara sina studier och om lärarna tar hänsyn till elevernas olika bakgrund vid planering och utformning av lektionernas innehåll. Studien ska ge svar på om alla elever får en likvärdig chans till att klara kursmålen och om lärarna inkluderar och strävar efter att motivera elever som inte faller inom ramen för lärarens egen bakgrund och omvärldsperspektiv.     Genom en kvalitativ och en kvantitativ studie i form av intervjuer med lärare och analys av undervisningsmaterial har jag försökt att ta reda på hur verksamheten utformas för att inkludera och stärka alla elever samt motivera och uppmuntra till vidarestudier. Hur och om man involverar elevernas erfarenheter, intresse och bakgrund för att motivera, engagera och inkludera eleverna i undervisningen.     Resultatet av min studie visade på att lärarna inte tar hänsyn till elevernas olika bakgrunder när de selekterar stoffurvalet och när de planerar innehållet av lektionerna. Studien visade att lärarna inte är medvetna om att ett sådant behov kan finnas..

This study has been conducted as a literary analysis of four chapter books for children in the early years of compulsory school: Magister Tutnäsa, Vilken fullträff, Astrakan, Sune och tjejhatarligan, and Alva och Dum-Julia. The aim has been to analyse four teacher characters from a gender perspective. The study has focused on the teachers? personal characteristics and whether these are typically female or male. Another aim has been to study how the character reinforces or runs against stereotyped gender patterns.
