Projektet omfattade en jämförelsestudie avseende stomsystem. Studien undersökte ramverk och fackverk/balk/pelar-system och genomfördes självständigt med stöttning av Ramböll AB´s kontor i Falun. Syftet var främst att undersöka vilka skillnader det finns mellan tvåledsramar och fackverk/balk/pelar-system för lätta hallbyggnader och försöka få klarhet i varför fackverk/balk/pelar-system är det dominerande systemet i Sverige eftersom övriga Europa har tagit en annan utveckling och domineras av tvåledsramar. Studien undersöker skillnaderna mellan systemen i en hallbyggnad med förutbestämda mått i stål.Inledningsvis gjordes en litteraturstudie för att få en bredare bakgrund av systemen och en bättre förståelse om förutsättningarna för varje system. Efter litteraturstudien kunde sedan ett typhus och beräkningsunderlag för jämförelsestudien tas fram.

Laminitis is a common but devastating condition, and affected horses are often euthanized or influenced a very long time. Many horses never return to their original capacity. Laminitis is often associated with severe pain and a long time of convalescence. Symthoms includes lameness, hoof hyperthermia, strenghthened digital pulse and pain. This study investigated the effects of rubber alley flooring on cow locomotion, claw and leg health, production, cleanliness, grooming behaviour and cow exclusion rate in a free stall herd. The study was conducted in a new dairy house with a rotary milking system, with a matched group of cows on traditional scraped concrete alleys used for comparison. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine the current situation as regarding the political equality in Iran. The method of this reaserch is based on a single-case studie wich grounds in secondary sources. The analysis of this paper is based on fields that concern political equality which in this study will focus on the right to vote, candidacies in the parliament election 2004 and the presidential election 2005. A democracy theory by Jack Lively is used to analyze the political equality in Iran´s political system.The Iranian regim is strongly criticized by the goverments in the Western world and NGO´s for the situation of the democracy and the human rights in the country. Despite the criticism, Iran still continues in the same political direction, although the democracy has gained a stronger role in the political sphere.

Större delen av den forsk-ning som bedrivs inom VR-området fokuserar på tekniken i sig. VR-system skapade i demonstrationssyfte används till att undersöka fenomen som avståndsbedömning och navigeringsförmåga i virtuella världar. Denna forskning är viktig, men är inte tillräcklig för att ge vägledning i hur man bör designa ett VR-system som ska stödja en arkitektonisk process.

In 2003 the recommended phosphorus allowance for dairy cows in Sweden was lowered approximately 10 %. For a cow at a production level of 35 kg ECM it decreased from 0,40 to 0,36 % of dry matter. To investigate if the decrease has been implemented at farm level, analysis of following minerals; P, Ca, Mg, K, Na, S, Se, Cu, Mn and Zn was performed on the TMR at 20 farms in Sweden in the summer of 2004. The purpose was to describe the actual allowance of different minerals as compared to the new recommendations. One hypothesis was that the decrease in recommended allowance of phosphorus would lead to the need of new mineral feeds on the market.

There areonly a few applications that take advantage of WPF today, but it is predictedthat WPF will be the next generation method for developing applications to theWindows platform.To make our menu visually appealing, easy to use and at the same timefunctional, we followed the clear path and guidelines that are available ininteraction design.

Organisationer står inför ständiga förändringar och det medför att organisationers IT-system behöver anpassas därefter. För att besvara dessa förändringar investeras det i nya IT-system. Dock prioriteras oftast inte hantering av de föregående systemen, så som systemavveckling. Systemavveckling behandlas ytterst lite i befintlig litteratur, till exempel hur en systematisk avvecklingsprocess skulle kunna genomföras. Utifrån detta utformades uppsatsens syfte att belysa ämnet systemavveckling och kartlägga centrala begrepp. För att uppnå syftet har två fallstudier genomförts samt en genomgång av befintlig litteratur.

The SAB-system (Klassifikationssystem för svenska bibliotek) was created almost a hundred years ago and has often been viewed as insufficient among many academic libraries. KB (Kungliga Biblioteket) has therefore decided to change to DDC (Dewey Decimal Classification) which means that the Swedish libraries are now facing a challenge that involves a change to a new classification system. This is a comparable situation that occured when the SAB-system was created. The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine the Swedish library sector´s approach to a new classification system, first to the SAB-system and then to DDC.

Den här studien avser att undersöka i vilken utsträckning befintliga riktlinjer för datorstött samarbete är tillämpbara för asynkrona, geografiskt distribuerade system i syfte om att minska det socio-tekniska glappet. Det är ett glapp mellan vad användare efterfrågar socialt och vad som är tekniskt möjligt att stödja, där medvetenhet om andra användare är en central utmaning som påvisar ett glapp. Som praktiskt fall studeras Intercopy.net som är ett system för dokumenthantering via Internet. Resultaten visar att det verkar finnas få riktlinjer specifikt avsedda för asynkrona, distribuerade system och de som avser datorstött samarbete generellt kan vara svåra att tillämpa. Riktlinjer för enskilda användare och för datorstött samarbete kan därför med fördel kombineras vid utveckling och utvärdering av datorstött samarbete för att öka användbarheten på individ- och gruppnivå.

The purpose of this thesis is to explain one aspect of how and why the development in the third world is lagging behind. The precondition is that development through an agricultural revolution is necessary and that all countries benefit from trading. But these two conditions are not met today. By using the urban-bias and the world system theory I have analysed how the situation appears to be according to the precondition. It appears that both the urban-bias and the world system theory are essential to understand how and why the situation in third world still has not reached the same development phase as most other countries.
