Fokus för denna studie är de föräldrastödsutbildningar som i snabb takt introduceras i Sverige. Dessa är ofta manualbaserade program vilket innebär att de inte bör ändras. Syftet med dem är att ge föräldrar stöd och nya verktyg i uppfostran av sina barn. I USA finns en pågående debatt om huruvida sådana föräldrastödsutbildningar kan fungera på ett likvärdigt sätt för alla föräldrar oavsett vilken kulturell bakgrund eller vilka levnadsvillkor man har. Den debatten grundar sig på tanken om att synen på föräldraskap och barnuppfostran kan skilja sig avsevärt åt mellan olika kulturer samt att programmen därmed på olika sätt är normativa med en västerländsk syn på föräldraskap.

Studiens syfte är att studera det nationella provets påverkan på betygsättningen och undervisningen i svenska B, samt att undersöka om eleverna på de yrkesförberedande respektive studieförberedande programmen ges liknande förutsättningar inför provet. De frågeställningar som ligger till grund för studien är: Vilken betydelse tillskriver lärare det nationella ämnesprovets resultat för elevens betyg? På vilket sätt påverkar innehållet i nationella prov lärares planering och val av innehåll i ämnet svenska B? Hur förbereds elever på yrkesförberedande respektive studieförberedande program inför det nationella provet? Undersökningen är av kvalitativ natur och har genomförts i form av intervjuer. Dessa har analyserats med stöd av styrdokument, tidigare forskning och studiens teoretiska utgångspunkter, vilka är det sociokulturella perspektivet och läroplanens fyra F. Studiens resultat visar huvudsakligen att det nationella provet upplevs vara en riktningsvisare för lärares betygsättning och att det finns moment i undervisningen som får stå tillbaka på grund av provet, samt att det finns betydande skillnader i det nationella provets förberedelser på studieförberedande respektive yrkesförberedande program.

Society today is characterized by the transforming effect IT has had, the majority of the activities we perform on a daily basis involves one way or another digital technology. One area which has not yet seen the positive effects of IT is education. Despite the progress of technology, the school education has barely changed since it first saw the light of day. Our goal with this study is to investigate the possibility of implementing Gamification elements in educational environments and examine whether it could increase our young students learning motivation. We believe that this kind of implementation will have a positive effect for these young people since they have been interacting with games since they were small and are familiar with the driving force of a reward system.With this study we want to examine the opportunities and challenges that Gamification implementation brings out in a learning environment and therefore encourage and motivate our young ones to study even harder..

Fetma och övervikt är idag ett välfärdsproblem i Sverige och antalet har ökat kraftigt den senaste tidsperioden bland barn. Det finns få studier om hur skolor arbetar mot övervikt och fetma och denna studie syftar till att undersöka hur problemet bearbetas i skolorna i förebyggande syfte och hur pedagoger undervisar om ämnet i en medelstor stad i sydvästra Sverige idag. Den kvalitativa studien är deskriptiv. Låg struktur och låg standardisering har använts under intervjuerna för att de intervjuade ska få chans att fritt uttrycka sina åsikter så utförligt som möjligt om ämnet. Sammanlagt har tolv personer intervjuats varav sex skolsköterskor och sex pedagoger som arbetar i årskurs F-5.

The purpose of ?The Lake? was to create an experience with music and visuals working with no budget.A personal purpose was that I wanted to explore new areas in design, like scenography, and combine them with my previous knowledge and skills. My method was to keep my hands busy at all times and use new materials. I also wanted to work with other creators and learn from their methods. Together with a musician I created the music and the concept for the project.

Author: Gabriella Agné and Helena LarssonTitle: Disability policy program ? a case study of a municipals implementation of UNs Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.Supervisor: Marianne Westring-NordhAssessor: Ulf DruggeThis study aims to examine how a small municipal in southern Sweden works with the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and examine the assistant officers knowledge about this work and user organizations inclusion and user involvement.The study operates from a qualitative approach based on the results of nine semi-structured interviews with local politicians, assistance officers and representatives from three different user organizations.The results show that the municipal has chosen to work with the implementation of the convention by creating policy programs for their departments through dialogue with user organizations, and by mapping the accessibility to public places. The results also show that the assistant officers have been given no information regarding the convention or the policy programs from their employers and instead operate from national legislations and prepositions. The user organizations feel that they were initially included in the process, but that their impact has later been removed due to structural reorganization..

Biologisk mångfald är idag ett högaktuellt ämne som dyker upp i många sammanhang. Förutom att det talas om det i media är det ett begrepp som ingår i kursplanen för kärnämnet naturkunskap A. Eftersom alla som går i årskurs 3 i gymnasiet har läst naturkunskap A finner vi det intressant att undersöka dessa elevers attityder till begreppet. Syftet med undersökningen är att ta reda på hur elever kopplar samman det de hör om biologisk mångfald i t.ex. skola och media med sin vardag? Eventuella skillnader mellan kön och beroende på vilket program eleverna går är också av intresse.Undersökningen utfördes som en kvantitativ enkätundersökning där 114 gymnasieelever från 3 olika programtyper ingick.

The aim of this study is to examine physical education teachers? and students? views on the thesis and its part in the physical teacher education program at The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences.Does the view on the thesis differ between techers/students and the program with its curriculum and other policy documents?What does students/teachers value in a thesis?Does teachers/students have a mutual habitus concerning the thesis in the form of essay writing and how is this expressed?The study is based on a qualitative survey in which the respondents mainly answered open-ended questions with written answers. These answers have been categorized and analyzed with the aims of the study and the previous research in mind. The views on the purpose of the thesis differ, both within the group teachers/students and to a certain degree in relation to policy documents. The value of the thesis differs within the group.

Elever i en klass i år 9 svarade på en enkätundersökning om mobbning och kränkande behandling och förebyggandet av dessa samt skolans trygghetsplan. Tre elever i denna klass deltog sedan i en gruppintervju i ämnet.Resultat8 av 13 elever vet att skolan har en trygghetsplan men de vet inte vad som står i den.

The purpose of this paper is to bring a British mural painting that originated in England in the 1920?s into the limelight and introduce it to the Swedish public. The mural was commissioned by Tate Gallery, currently known as Tate Britain. The work of art was designed for a semi-public space as a decoration in the Refreshment Room of the gallery, located in the basement where there was little natural light. The artist, a young British man named Rex Whistler, was transformed from being a student at an art school into a celebrated professional artist by this piece of art.

En intervjustudie har genomförts med gymnasielärare som undervisar i Matematik A och Svenska A. Syftet är att undersöka vilka kunskapsformer de fokuserar vid bedömningen av elevers kunnande. Faktakunskaper betonas inte av lärarna i någon högre grad. För de lägre betygsstegen är tillämpning den kunskapsform som lärarna huvudsakligen tar fasta på. För de högre betygsstegen fokuseras förståelse och sammanhang.

Annual reports are by many considered to be companies primary way to inform their world where the CEO's words are read most carefully by shareholders. The purpose of this paper is to examine the design of the CEO's words in annual reports in light of the financial crisis in 2008. The study seeking explanations for change, similarities and differences in the various texts based on three themes which are results, future and confidence. In this qualitative study five CEO's words are explored by means of a discourse analysis, all from large Swedish industrial companies listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. Some of the results shown is that the CEO tends to talk about the company's results in a self-serving manner and CEO speaks more aboutm the results before than after the crisis.

This essay deals about bilingualism and lifepaths. The essay is based on a qualitative study, where eight individuales have been interviewed, all of them from Gränsskolan in Haparanda. Before the interview´s a study of relevant research literature was made.The main purpose with the essay, is to study if the informant?s life paths have been affected by their bilingualism, i.e. if the informers moves and education etc.

The purpose of this paper is to standardize and simplify the design work on a few specific types of storage brackets for balconies. The company Balco AB had the wish to simplify the design work in the preparation of attachments to their balcony structures. This would be done by a calculation matrix that could be produced which then in turn could be used for each new project by the company. The design work behind the development of these fittings at each new project is costly both in terms of time devoted by each calculation but also the cost of the time. The purpose of this report is that in a systematic manner, a calculation matrix can be created that then the company instead may follow from each new project.In carrying out the project used HILTI calculation program, which was provided by the company HILTI.
