The study aims to demonstrate the significance of educators lived experiences of stimulating children's physical development. It has been noted that children are occupying themselves with more and more sedentary activities, which may lead to that they do not develop motor skills at the pace expected. To understand educators lived experiences from a phenomenological hermeneutic perspective empirical relevance has been collected through narrative interviews. The results shows that educators find it difficult to understand the Curriculum goals for motor activity and that the desire to stimulate motor development is great, but the realization is conspicuous by its absence. The discussion highlights educator?s commitment and motivation and the importance of being a reflecting practitioner..

Bakgrund: Sveriges befolkning blir allt äldre vilket skapar ett krav på kunskap om vård och omsorg till den äldre patienten. Sjukhusavdelningar är fyllda av äldre patienter och många av dem är svårt sjuka och kommer spendera sin sista tid på en vårdavdelning. För att ge en helhetsvård till den döende patienten ska vården bygga på de fyra hörnstenarna symtomlindring, kommunikation, relation och stöd till närstående samt ett multiprofessionellt samarbete. Som sjuksköterska vill man göra sitt yttersta för att patienten ska må bra, vare sig det är att må bra mot ett tillfrisknande eller att må bra i livets slutskede. Den ofta hektiska vårdmiljön på en vårdavdelning kan motverka en god palliativ vård.Syfte: Att beskriva sjuksköterskors upplevelser av att vårda äldre svårt sjuka patienter i livets slutskede på vårdavdelningar utan palliativ inriktning.Metod: Studien har en induktiv kvalitativ design.

The purpose of this phenomenological study was to facilitate increased understanding of immigrant's experience of the meaning of work with focus on how that meaning can change as a part of the acculturation process. Participants (n=13) from eight countries answered an open question. The responses were analysed using Meaning Construction Analysis (MCA)-Minerva and the individual's life-worlds were made visible and discussed. The themes meaning of work, work, unemployment, education, adjustment, immigration, Sweden/country of origin, dreams, possibilities and self appeared as jointly shared important aspects. The results indicate that work is of central importance, and although the individuals share certain experiences, the meaning associated with the themes is of a complex and individual nature..

Sexual function in men with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) is usually affected to a greater or lesser extent, depending on the type of injury and physiological prerequisites. Social contexts and psychological factors are other aspects that affect sexual function. Sexual dysfunction can lead to an impaired quality of life, depression and other illnesses. Aim: To study reported experiences of sexual function in men with SCI who have participated in The Nordic Spinal Injury Registry (NSCIR) five years follow-up. Design: Quantitative method consisting of a register study based on secondary data.

Det här är en undersökning om holländares val att flytta till Värmland och att starta eget företag sett utifrån ett work-life balance perspektiv. De teorier som har använts är främst work-life balance teorin men även teorier som behandlar flexibilitet, arbete och att starta eget företag återfinns. Inom work-life balance går jag igenom hur olika typer av förändringar i samhället har påverkat och påverkar balansen mellan arbete och fritid. Det tas även upp olika typer av beslut och gensvar som individen kan ta och göra för att motverka obalansen, men dessa individuella beslut är på något sätt relaterade till andra, som till exempel, kommunens gensvar.Jag har använt mig av kvalitativ metod där jag intervjuat nio respondenter i min undersökning. I analys och resultat kapitlet redogör jag för mina upptäckter utifrån den analys jag gjort av mina respondenters berättelser och kopplar det till de teorier jag använt mig av.

Bakgrund: I Sverige drabbas varje år cirka tiotusen personer av ett hjärtstopp varav cirka trehundra personer överlever. Ett hjärtstopp påverkar den drabbades liv på olika sätt och det är därför viktigt att sjuksköterskan har kunskap om dessa personers upplevelser. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva hur patienter upplever sin livskvalitet efter ett hjärtstopp. Metod: En allmän litteraturstudie genomfördes med induktiv innehållsanalys. Resultat: Patienterna drabbades av fysiska förändringar som de på olika sätt försökte hantera.

The aim of this study was to find out which factors that relate to nursing staff?s health and stress level from a general perspective.

The purpose of this study is to examine if Muslims and Jezidier from the Middle East experience changes in them self when they live in Sweden and how they feel about apply for work in the Swedish labour market. The study uses the individualistic - collectivistic dimension to describe the differences between the Swedish culture and the participants home culture. A phenomenological, theoretical and methodological approach has been followed, with self-reports as the instrument for data collection. In this essay I analyze the way my collection of poetry relates to the concept cyclic. What is cyclic and what different interpretations are there concerning the concept? Which other related concepts are there regarding things that seem to reoccur regularly? How does the cyclical, the circular, relate to the linear in regard, for example, to the perception of time? Life often creates the sense that different phenomena and experiences repeat themselves. Different processes are conducted according to regular or irregular cyclical phases, situations seem familiar and events can be relived.         Starting from my writing project Sinnligt kviller, a collection of poems, I discuss these questions in themselves and the impact they have had on my collection. I describe the phenomenon cyclic as a result of the emotions and moods this term creates in a more or less decisive way.         The intention with this paper is to show how Sinnligt kviller offers different perspectives of and reflections upon the various feelings provoked by the cyclic in our lives, feelings that are given my own voice in the literary text under study..

The primary purpose of this essay is to study and describe what single adoptive mothers believe to be significant motives when considering adoption. This essay also describes how single adoptive mothers experience parenthood in relation to their expectations. The theoretical perspectives applied to analyse the empirical data are existentialism, the identity making process, and social constructionism. The method of this study is qualitative based on seven interviews. The material has been analysed by condensed meaning units and themes with a phenomenological approach.

När Sydafrika blev en demokrati 1994 gjordes utbildningssystemet om. En del i de storaförändringarna var att introducera Life Orientation, ett nytt ämne från och med 1998.Forskning har visat att införandet av ämnet inte varit friktionsfritt, vilket bland annat berott påatt ämnet varit nytt och det varit brist på lärare med relevant utbildning för att undervisa i LifeOrientation.Syftet med den studie som gjorts var att ta reda på hur lärare på en High School (årskurs 8-12)upplever idrottsämnets ställning är på deras skola, mot bakgrunden att ämnet integrerats i LifeOrientation som ett av sex delområden. En kvalitativ forskning har genomförts medsemistrukturerade interjuver som metod. To be able to feel a sense of belonging, people need to have the possibility to take part of the information from the society. Hearing-impaired don?t have the same possibility as hearing people when they want to take part of the information, therefore they don?t get the same benefit. This contributes to a feeling of not belonging and a sense of limitation in different social occasions. Therefore the society needs to be accessible to everyone regardless disability.

The purpose of this paper is to test a procedure that would be useful for a certain, more final purpose. Assume that you want to know if the differences in the result of a certain effort in health care have any connection with differences between the life situations of the patients. This would be easier to investigate if the life situations of the patients had connection to the easily available variable Health Care Cost (in Swedish VK). In that case the searching for connections between VK of patient groups and the result of health care efforts would be sufficient to gain knowledge of possible connection between health care efforts and life situations.
