This paper explores the interaction of children with language impairment (LI). The present essay is a conversation analytic study of child-child and child-therapist dyads. The aim was to explore in what ways children with LI reach common understanding. Another purpose was to investigate if there are differences in interaction between dyads with children with LI and dyads with children with LI and speech language therapist. Seven children, three girls and four boys, with LI participated in the study.

Test bench for air bearingsThis thesis work consisted of bringing forward and defining the test parameters relevant for a test bench and constructing a test bench that can test and verify the largest existing air bearings that are of use in Micronic Laser Systems AB machines. Because the knowledge about air bearings is limited it is thought that with the help of the test bench the knowledge would increase and in that way improve the air bearings.After learning more about air bearings and their purpose at Micronic Laser Systems AB, I started the concept phase for the test bench. For each part in the test bench I consulted my two tutors, Torbjörn Hedevärn and Johan Bergqvist, at Micronic Laser Systems AB. The final concepts where documented as 3D-modells in Solidworks and some of them have been tested in Solidworks FEM-program.The test bench is designed so that, with the help of a pneumatic cylinder, 25 kilo weights are placed on the air bearing to test its stiffness, damping and the pressure performance under its surface area. To test these parameters the test bench has to have a pressure meter, accelerometer and a microcator.

This study aims to assess the normal inflow of extraterrestrial chromite to Earth. The results from the investigationare compared to earlier studies of middle Ordovician Orthoceratite Limestone in which 1 - 3 extraterrestrial chromitegrains ( >63 ?Êm ) per kilogram limestone were found. These values have been interpreted as evidence of a twoorders of magnitude increase in the flux of extraterrestrial matter to Earth during a part of middle Ordovician.From an early Paleocene marine sedimentary sequence with known sedimentation rate in Zumaia, northernSpain, 90,5 kilogram of condensed limestone, dated to about 63 Ma, was sampled. The limestone was dissolved inhydrochloric- and hydrofluoric acid and the residue was sieved and searched for opaque minerals under the binocularmicroscope.

The goal with this examination thesis is to investigate the difference in carbon dioxide emissions between a building with a wooden versus concrete carcassing from a life cycle perspective. The huge amounts of carbon dioxide released into air from human activities must be reduced to prevent serious consequences. A way to limit this issue is through performing a comparative study where the result shows which of two products with the same function has the lowest emission of carbon dioxide, whereof the product with the lowest carbon dioxide pollution can be chosen.To be able to perform a study like this an object has been chosen and studies about life cycle analyses have been done. The rental square meter, the thermal conductivity value, the energy requirements and the placement of the building has been set equal in both framework types. There were solely dissimilarities of the two buildings taken into account when this comparison study was performed.The result of the study is that a building constructed with a wooden carcassing has the lowest amount of carbon dioxide emissions.

Klimatförändringen är här och havsnivån håller på att höjas vilket hotar bebyggelse utmed kusterna. Lomma i sydvästra Skåne är en småstad som redan idag drabbats av översvämningar och som i framtiden kommer utsättas för än större risker. Havsnivån i Lomma kan enligt SMHI komma att stiga med så mycket som 2,6 meter vid framtida högvattennivåer vilket skulle få förödande effekter på bebyggelsen men även för drabbade människor. Sättet att hantera de stigande havsnivåerna har de senaste åren gått från en tillit till tekniska lösningar till en mer tillåtande lösning på naturens villkor, där vattnet tillåts översvämma bestämda områden. Med hjälp av de teoretiska utgångspunkterna, referensexempel från Hamburg och Nederländerna, samt en innehållsanalys av kommunala dokument från Lomma har tre strategier tagits fram för att hantera den stigande havsnivån i Lomma.

Development of morphs within European whitefish (Coregonus lavaretus), might be considered as a beginning of a sympatric speciation process. Unpublished data suggests that presence of the keystone piscivore northern pike (Esox lucius) is the main driver of sympatric divergence in European whitefish (Coregonus lavaretus). Using introduced whitefish populations as controlled experiments, it is possible to determine when different characters diverge in the speciation process. In this study, I analysed age and growth within European whitefish populations of different age to assess if these characters change over time in absence of pike. With using otoliths from whitefish populations of different age, I was possible to determine individual age, and by measuring the length of the fish, growth was calculated.

The purpose of this study was to explore nurses' experiences of obstructed airways in the prehospital work.A qualitative interview study with a descriptive and explorative design was used. The sample consisted of nine registered nurses whereof three were women and six were men, with or without further education and varying length of experience in the ambulance service.Prehospital personnel builds up a vast plan of action based on the emergency information provided by SOS. Simple methods for managing obstructed airways were stated often enough. Problems with obstructed airways are considered so unusual that it never becomes a routine. Several factors affect the identification and managing of obstructed airways, both external factors and the different patient categories are considered important.

Tidigare studier har visat en samband mellan dålig sömn och hög höjd. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om sömnkvaliteten påverkas av vistelse på simulerad hög höjd. Sex manliga försökspersoner (20-34 år, medelålder 23,8 år) deltog i studien. Under två veckor, i två perioder, sov försökspersonerna fem nätter på simulerad hög höjd på cirka 2740 meter och fem nätter på lågland. Fösökspersonerna skattade sin sömnkvalitet i ett formulär efter varje natt.

The aim with this project is to investigate thedishwasher and it?s washing cycle, noting different phases and components that contribute towaste of energy.

Målet var att ta fram en generell utvecklingskurva för de fem åren innan en simmare uppnår 900 FINA-poäng första gången. This paper thoroughly investigates needs and requirements for overhead distribution feeder inspection and develops models to investigate possible relations between short term inspections remarks and outages. The study was conducted in collaboration with Fortum Distribution AB that supplied extensive information about their overhead power feeders concerning both inspection and power outages. The investigated models where lognormal linear model, Poisson generalized linear model and negative binomial generalized linear model. All models were implemented utilizing offset terms to compensate for differences in feeder length and amount of overhead versus underground feeders. The Poisson generalized linear model was rejected at an early stage due to overdispersion and neither of the remaining models fit the data perfectly.

Därför varierar byggnaden i takhöjd vilket ger olika rumsligheter och skillnader i program som anpassats efter de olika höjderna. T.ex ett öppet andra våningsplan i västra delen som bidrar till dubbelt antal kontorplatser i frilanskontoret.Frågor jag ställt mig under processen var: Vad är en bostad idag? Vad är ett kontor idag? Vad kommer Hornstull att vara i framtiden med sin nya galleria? Vilka bostadstypologier råder i området?Dessa frgor har jag tagit i beaktande under förfarandet och kommit fram till en boendeform med yteffektiva och ljusgenerösa lägenheter i funkistyp.

För att i framtiden kunna besluta om förbättringar i systemet behövs en utredning av systemet för djupare förståelse av hur nätet fungerar idag. För att lära känna systemet utreddes i detta examensarbete var den abonnent som hade det lägsta differenstrycket, var de största tryckfallen fram till denna abonnent skedde, hur detta differenstryck skulle kunna förbättras och om det är ekonomiskt försvarsbart. Samt vilken framledningstemperatur som idag har den lägsta driftskostnaden, vad som skulle hända med trycket om den framledningstemperaturen skulle hållas vid -20? Celsius och vilket flöde som är det högsta möjliga innan maxtrycket på 16 bar nås.

This study was made for the Swedish forest company Sveaskog because the sawmills they delivered timber to had noticed a high frequency of bucking splits in their products. Coworker Jim Edström at Sveaskog also wanted to know if there was a big difference between different felling heads. The purpose with this study has been to find out the amount of bucking splits and if there is any felling head brand that did a bigger damage that the others. The study was made in two steps, where the first part was a literary review to find out results and conclusions in earlier studies. The best measuring method to check bucking splits was the known ?trissmetoden?.
