The aim of this study is to examine if and to what extent the personnel at the local school perceive offensive treatment through the social media among the students and what the personnel thinks about the responsibility of the school to prevent this type of abuse. Offensive treatment through the social media has become a common occurrence among youth and affects health in both psychological and physical ways. As offensive treatment through the social media often takes place outside of school in the students spare time the responsibility of their health is unclear. But since it affects their school results the school has a responsibility to act, which is confirmed by legislation. However, the legislation does not mention offensive treatment through the social media and the school has no distinct guidelines to prevent this form of offensive treatment.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur skolor och fritidshem samarbetar med Malmös kulturliv, genom att kartlägga vilket kulturutbud som finns i Malmö. Vi sätter barnperspektivet i centrum för att ta reda på om kulturaktiviteter gynnar barns utveckling. Vi hoppas kunna bidra till ökad kunskap om hur skolan och fritidshemmet och även Malmö stads kulturverksamheter jobbar med Skolverkets rekommendationer och de riktlinjer som finns i Skollagen för barns lärande, utveckling och välbefinnande på fritidshem. Vi utgår ifrån tre frågeställningar: Hur ser kulturutbudet ut i Malmö? Hur sker samverkan mellan fritidshem och kulturinstitutioner? Vad anser barn, skolpersonal och kulturarbetare att barn får ut av kulturaktiviteter? Undersökningen består mestadels av intervjuer. Intervjumaterialet består av information från elva informanter varav fyra fritidspedagoger, två rektorer, en kulturutvecklare på grundskoleförvaltningen, en kultursekreterare på kulturförvaltningen och tre kulturarbetare på olika kulturinstitutioner i Malmö.

Introduction: The number of hearing impairments in Sweden is increasing. The largest increase is seen in ages 25-44. There are reasons to believe that these impairments are noise induced. Leisure time noise is not controlled in the same manner that industrial noise is. An ongoing conflict between city council officials and rock club owners, musicians and music event organizers about sound levels at smaller live music clubs exceeding the national sound level restrictions created the need for an acoustic intervention project.

Strategies for Coping with Reading and Writing Difficulties in Daily Life  This study investigated how seven young adults, who during senior high school underwent a syllable based intervention due to reading and writing difficulties, developed their literacy skills, and what strategies they used to try to overcome reading and writing problems, whether at work, during studies or in their leisure time. The period from when the participants had left school ranged between three and eight years. Qualitative as well as quantitative data was compiled for the study. Qualitative data consisted of  semistructured interviews and quantitative data of tests performed before the intervention and on two occasions after, in order to compare results over time.

Abstract In the following text we analyse different perspectives in a meeting between a theatre and a visiting school class from grade six in the Swedish Primary School, in order to investigate the conditions for children?s participation and for making children?s own voices heard in professional theatres. Though it is common for Swedish theatre artists to try to understand and interpret children?s perspectives, it is rare for children to be given the opportunity to show their own perspectives in professional theatres in Sweden (Davet 2011 p. 18).

Syftet med detta arbete var att undersöka hur yrkesverksamma utbildade fritidspedagoger såg på sin yrkesroll och sina arbetsuppgifter. Syftet var också att ta reda på varför de hade valt sitt yrke. För att söka svar på detta gjorde jag kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer med sju personer som var utbildade fri-tidspedagoger, eller som har arbetat inom fritidshem i över 15 års tid. Intervjuerna som tog mellan 15 och 40 minuter var utformade för att bland annat ge svar på vad en fritidspedagog är och gör och om det var någonting man ville ändra vad gäller sin yrkesroll. Frågorna skulle även ge svar på om diskus-sion kring yrkesrollen hade förts i arbetslaget samt varför man hade valt yrket och om man var nöjd med sitt yrkesval.

Syftet med vår studie var att öka förståelsen för ett diffust begrepp som entreprenörskap i fritidshemmet. Detta gjorde vi genom att undersöka fritidspedagogers tolkningar av vad entreprenörskap innebär för deras arbete och för elevers lärande och utveckling i fritidshemmet. Vårt arbete utgår från tre frågeställningar: Hur tolkar fritidspedagoger uppdraget kring entreprenörskap i fritidshemmet som införts i Läroplanen 2011? Hur talar fritidspedagoger om att de implementerar entreprenörskap i fritidshemmets verksamhet för att lyckas med detta uppdrag? Vilka fördelar respektive nackdelar ser fritidspedagoger med detta arbetssätt? För att besvara dessa frågor har vi valt att utföra kvalitativa intervjuer som metod för vår undersökning.

This two years master?s thesis is about book circles for children, arranged by the public libraries in Sweden. The purpose is to gain knowledge about how children experience their participation in book circles, and how they experience their own reading. It focuses on children aged 10 to 12 years, and their leisure reading. The research questions are: What are the book circles? function for the participants? How and why do the children read? What kind of literature do they like? Do the children experience that their reading has developed through their participation in the book circles? What parts of the reading process do the book circles influence?The theoretical framework is threefold.

The purpose of this study is to examine the usage of IT technology within preschool and study how IT tools are used by preschool staff for administrative as well as pedagogical assignments. Several aspects affects the work preschool staff do with IT which concerns availability to technology, how technology is used and how technology is made available for the children. There are a number of questions linked to these aspects where some examples this study examines are which advantages, disadvantages, obstacles or other limitations that comes with introducing IT? This study also examines how, when and in what contexts IT is being used? Other questions examined are the pedagogue?s general views of IT, competence development and eventual needs of investment? Further on this study examines to some part how children interact with IT during pedagogical activities? The overall objective is to shed light on problems that preschool staff encounter  in their daily work and on the basis of identifying important questions at issue that could constitute a basis for further research. The results of this study are based on both a literature review and a field study.

The purpose of this study is to survey which competences and personal qualities the labour market, for students with examination from the Coaching and Sport management education at Vaxjo University, require. Furthermore I want to find out if the employees, videlicet the ex students, consider that their competences differentiate in relation to other employees in the organization which not have this education.In the study a qualitative investigation method has been used where ten interviews have been implemented. The interviews have been carried out within five conceivable work areas to a student with examination from the Coaching and Sport management education at Vaxjo University. The work areas are sports association, sports union, municipal activity with sport and leisure time connection, company with health care connection and company without any kind of sport connection. Five of the persons being interviewed are ex students that now are employees within any of the elected work areas.

The aim of this study is to investigate what kind of support unaccompanied children needs when arriving in Sweden, according to the staff that is receiving unaccompanied asylum seeking children in Sweden. The method is qualitative and is based on interviews and previous research. The result shows that the main subjects who were of interest from the interviews are elementary need, the support offered, security, ?parental gestalt?, education, leisure, obstacles in the work.All the interviewees describe young people's needs very different when it differs from person to person. The support children receive is the most important factor that unaccompanied children need to be developed and get a better and safer life.

I föreliggande studie avhandlas fenomenet afterwork. Afterwork utgör en kontext som präglas av en integrering mellan arbetslivet och privatlivet, i den meningen att arbetskollegor umgås efter arbetsdagens slut under privata former. Studiens syfte är att beskriva upplevelsen av afterwork hos informanterna som samtliga är män, fyra kockar samt fem byggnadsarbetare.Krogen har historiskt utgjort en arena för män och denna studie använder ett genusperspektiv för att undersöka hur maskulinitet reproduceras inom fenomenet afterwork. För att besvara studiens frågeställningar används en fenomenologisk ansats och empirin har insamlats med intervjuer, samt en deltagande observation under en afterwork. Empirin analyseras med hjälp av Goffmans begrepp främre och bakre region, Gusfields begrepp ?work? och ?leisure?, samt Connells och Messerschmidts begrepp hegemonisk maskulinitet för att belysa reproducerandet av maskulinitet under afterwork. Resultaten visar att kontexten afterwork utgör en integrerad arena mellan arbetet och privatlivet där inget av det ena någonsin frångår det andra; afterwork utgör därav en förlängning av arbetsdagen då samtal om arbetet ofta förekommer.

En stor del av en individs liv består av arbete och fritid. Ett konstaterade är att arbete och lärande handlar om att utveckla copingstrategier som individen behöver för att framgångsrikt kunna hantera och följa den växande förändringen i samhället som kan förebygga faror för ohälsa i individens arbetslivs- samt fritidsmiljö och stärka individernas balans mot de situationer som kan uppstå i den livsmiljön de befinner sig i. Studiens syfte var att undersöka om människor upplevde stress på fritiden och arbetet och i så fall om det påverkade arbetsprestationen samt om det är fritiden eller arbetet som upplevdes skapa stress. Ville även identifiera vilka copingstrategier som kunde optimera balansen för den enskilda individen och på så sätt stärka individens arbetsprestation. Metoden är enkätstudie.

In Scandinavia today many old harbour areas are developed into residential and commercial areas. For example are both Helsingborg city and Malmoe city in south Sweden planning to restructure some of their harbour areas to accommodate shops, schools, offices, residences et cetera. In Copenhagen in Denmark new plans for Nordhavn is also underway. In almost every plan proposal to redevelope an old harbour area the harbour activities are set a side to give room for new development. In Reykjavik, however, this has not been the case.
