Today, student influence is an important part of the school?s activities and is anchored both in Lgr 11 and the school law. Student influence has gained a larger and more important role thru out the years. Previous research points out that teachers and management at school?s have had difficulties with interpretation and understanding the education plan (curriculum) and to know in which way and how much influence the student should have.

Avsikten med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka om det är möjligt att bygga upp en kursmall i en lärplattform, i det här fallet It´s learning, som ska kunna användas av lärare för att bygga upp både distanskurser och närundervisningskurser. Fokus lades på att dels hitta minsta gemensamma nämnare för en sådan kursmall och dels på att vidareutveckla arbetet med It´s learning på Örkelljunga Utbildningscentrum där jag är anställd. Undersökningsgruppen var i första hand lärare med sina kunskaper och erfarenheter av undervisningen både på distans och i klassrummet, i andra hand elever med sitt behov att ha insyn i vad som gjordes, vad som ska göras, vad har man missat och vilket är resultat av deras lärandearbete i form av lärarens feedback och betyg. Metoder som användes var enkät, intervjuer och samtal. Arbetets slutsats är att man kan, med en kursmall som grund, bygga upp både distanskurser och närundervisningskurser i It´s learning, det kräver dock mycket tid och engagemang från lärarnas sida då mallen ska fyllas på med vettigt undervisningsmaterial och planeringen synliggöras för eleverna. Allt handlar inte bara om tid och engagemang, även bristande datakunskaper hos en del av undervisarna är ett grundproblem som måste övervinnas. Projektet utmynnade i att de flesta av mina kollegor började använda sig av lärplattformen, dock ej alla som målsättningen var från början. Kursmallen underlättade arbetet initialt men den stora insatsen ligger under årets lopp då varje påbörjad kurs ska fyllas på med lektionsplaneringar och digitalt undervisningsmaterial av hög pedagogisk kvalité. Syfte: Syftet med undersökningen var att studera lärares erfarenhet av att arbeta med learning study som modell för undervisning. Avsikten var att försöka förstå om modellen kan bidra till att öka den beredskap som behövs för att möta elevers variation i undervisningen genom att ge lärare redskap för reflektion och förändring. Syftet var också att undersöka om learning study skulle kunna vara ett redskap för specialpedagogens arbete inom ramen för en inkluderande pedagogik. Teori/Metod: Undersökningen baseras på intervjuer med fem lärare från två grundskolor,7-9. Inför studiens genomförande gjordes en auskultation i learning study, för att bättre kunna förstå dess upplägg inför intervjuundersökningen.

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva skillnaderna i sättet som lärandets innehåll behandlas i matematik under två lektioner i årskurs 4 om ekvivalens, samt titta på om det intentionella lärandeobjektet var förenligt med det iscensatta lärandeobjektet. Studien kommer även att titta på ifall eleverna lärde det som var intentionen med lektionen samt vilken invarians och variation som skapas under lektionen. För att besvara dessa frågor används learning study som en forskningsmetod i denna studie. Studien visar att grupp 1 inte erbjöds lika goda förutsättningar att erfara det som var intentionen med lektionen som grupp 2 gjorde. Resultatet visar också att skillnaderna var väldigt små mellan de båda grupperna, men att grupp 1 i stort sett endast hade förbättrat sig på uppgiften de undervisades om under lektionen.

Pigs are often mentioned as relatively intelligent animals when compared to other nonhuman species. Despite this knowledge, the vast majority of pigs are kept under conditions that lack opportunities to satisfy their cognitive needs. Therefore, a need to evaluate the present scientific studies about pig cognition was acknowledged, in order to evaluate to what extent the knowledge is applied in the husbandry of finishing pigs. If a considerable lack of application was determined, suggestions about how to use the obtained information to improve pig welfare were also to be made. A synthesis of the present literature was made, and it could be concluded that a considerable amount of studies had been carried out in the present area. The pigs of today appear to have the same behavioural and cognitive needs as their ancestor, the wild boar.

The aim of this essay is to examine three separate Swedish public libraries and their respective websites on the grounds of the usability sciences. I firstly had to summarize the main properties of the usability-field in order to gain an extended knowledge of its purposes and possible usage for today?s library systems. I was then able to apply the extended knowledge in the examination of the three library websites and the purpose of determining whether or not they were designed according to the standards set by the usability-sciences.Usability is a rather new science that deals with the dissection and examination of computer-based systems, in order to find the key components that make systems user-friendlier. With user needs being the main focus of its research, usability tries to meet all the different needs of the modern user and construct systems that are less system-centered and more user-centered.

The information society creates new demands on the knowledge making individual; besides being literate one has to be information literate. And in the educational society there is an ongoing change from teaching to learning, the focal point being the active student and life long learning. The aim of this dissertation is to within a context of learning and teaching elucidate the relation between user education and subject education by examining what significance the academic libraries user education has for the development of information literacy within students. Some epistemological theories connected with learning is presented as well as aspects of the information search process and of information literacy. Universities and their libraries view of information literacy and the goal of their user education is being focused on in an empirical study.

Vårt syfte är att skapa en djupare förståelse och klargöra för användningen avbegreppen management och ledarskap i praktiken. Med hjälp av begreppens innebörd kan vi som forskare få möjligheten att framföra hur begreppen används praktiskt. På så vis kan vi se om teorin reproduceras i praktiken. Vår uppsats visar att intervjupersonerna tror att de utövar ledarskap, men att det inte kan utövas i praktiken. Detta har sin grund i den tvetydighet som omger begreppet ledarskap och företagets organisationskontext.

The purpose of this paper has been to study the relationships and attitudes of a few teachers and librarians as to their co-operation in a combined public and upper secondary school library and to find out what circumstances there may be to exert an influence on their work. The paper has been based upon qualitative interviews with upper secondary school teachers and librarians as well as on studies of literature relating to our issue. We believe there may be different approaches to the learning process, as these are the relations and attitudes of two professions from different trades. That is why our point of departure has been Roger Säljö's theory about learning and, in our analysis, a few of Jean Donham van Deusen's ideas of joint planning and flexible timetabling. All respondents agreed that co-operation could be better, but the teachers were of the opinion that it must not interfere with their time.

Wastewater handling of private sewage systems has become an all increasing matter. In Stockholm region the 90 000 private sewage systems contribute with larger phosphorus flows to the Baltic Sea than the two biggest sewage plants in the area, Henriksdal and Käppala, contribute together, even though these two plants purify wastewater from more than one million inhabitants. When summer house areas turn into areas for permanent living ? transition areas ? the load on the existing systems increases, systems that already often are unsatisfying. In those areas it is not clear what the best system choice is; On-site systems for single households; Local collective systems or Connection to central systems.

Detta examensarbete är den avslutande delen av utbildningen inom maskinteknik på Linnéuniversitetet i Växjö under våren 2013. Arbetet utfördes i samarbete med Rottne Industri AB där skogsmaskiner utvecklas och tillverkas för skogsbruk. Projektet innefattar utveckling av en hjulupphängningskomponent kallad ?hjularm? tillhörande företagets ledande produkt, skördaren H-8. Resultatet slutade i en ny design av hjularmen med hjälp av CAD-modellering, Systems Engineering och FEM-analysering..

Swedish dairy production has during the last decades undergone considerable structural rationalisation and the number of dairy herds has decreased to less than 7000. At the same time the average herd size has increased and a large proportion of those investing in new buildings today choose automatic milking (AM). During 2008 more than ten percent of the Swedish cows will be milked with AM. The development has been faster than expected and the need for consulting has increased rapidly. This study aims to evaluate whether a check list originating from the FRISKKO (?healthy cow?) programme can be a useful tool when assessing how well the herd functions in various areas.

In this report a study is carried out with the aim to identify added values of EPC projects implemented in schools in order to increase the interest of EPC projects on the market. The report examines how the planned maintenance, supervision, maintenance and corrective maintenance is affected, how insurance premiums and terms are affected, the indoor environment and how the tasks of the operating staff is changing. A literature study of energy savings, energy use in schools, maintenance and insurance as well as how energy efficiency improvements are related to the Swedish environmental objectives has been made. Visits were carried out in Ludvika, interviews were also carried out with operation technicians and local strategists in Ludvika as well as employees of insurance companies.Schools often have neglected maintenance and problems with ventilation and indoor environment. Schools also have a large energy saving potential due to their low utilization, mainly because they are empty parts of the year.

Earlier studies of musculoskeletal problems with milkers working in milking parlour operators have shown that it is a physically demanding occupation. The extremities that are most exposed are neck, shoulders, hands and wrists. Those systems that have been studied in present cases are fishbone and some tandem barns. There have been changes in the working environment during the past ten years. The mechanisation has been developed for the better with automatically removers of the milking units and vertically adjustable floors in almost every daily milking barn. In other hand the milk production are more industrialised and more related to stress today.
